They showed up when scheduled and I showed them the work to be completed. They were friendly and told me that they would need to perform first coat of mud and then return to put in the 2nd patch of mud after 1st coat dried. This was two weeks before Christmas, and it's now over 3 months later and I'm still waiting. While very responsive when I first purchased the Angieslist deal, they have since not responded to my communications. This is a one-man shop out of Batavia. The deal was for 4 man-hours of work (2 hrs w/ 2 men). They were at my home for 1 hour (2 man-hours) and have not come back for the remaining 2 man-hours. They were advertising in Buffalo, but I didn't make the connection that they weren't local (Batavia, I think). While I have no doubt that he knows his stuff and can provide quality work, his unwillingness to finish the job makes him a definite NOT RECOMMEND.

It was great. He did a really good job, and he was on time and cleaned up afterwards, And he even did a little extra for me. <br /> <br /> I thought the price was fair. The quality was very good. It was just 1 person and it took between 7 and 8 hours. He cleaned up everything, swept everything, as a matter of fact, I had to tell him to stop, that I would finish up. <br /> <br /> In my opinion, the best thing he did was the actual repairing the wall, recaulking the wall. He had to recaulk it a couple of times. Then he sanded it in between. He couldn't sand the last time because it was still wet, so I did that. <br />

They were great, very nice man. The work done is beautiful, We had a communication problem at the beginning but it all worked out. Said he would be here at 9 and was here right on time. <br /> <br /> He was good, professional, punctual, did great work and cleaned up as he worked. He was wonderful.

Richard was great. He was right on time did what he needed to do and was very professional. Before I even purchased the deal I called him with questions. Richard was very straightforward and told me that it would be a few weeks before he would be available to work because he was very busy. I'm glad that I waited because the job was done well!

At the beginning it was, "I can do that, no problem" but when it seem to be a an issue all of a sudden there was a problem. Many things that were requested were turned into that's not going to work, that can't happen or he was just unable to do it. If you would've simply said I've never worked with that tile before or I don't know how to move lights and put them where you want them I would've been a lot happier. It seems every place that was a mistake there's caulk, a lot of caulking was used. other than the drywall most was substandard work, painting with noticeable mistakes, tile not matching properly, and glass shower doors that I picked out and paid over the allotted amount for out of my pocket were installed properly and had to be fixed!.

Although i am confused that you would leave such bad review when through the entire process, you stated it was wonderful job and were very happy up until it was time to pay. As you see in the pictures that we took and posted, all tile's match properly, So I am not seeing why you have stated that. Caulking around shower pan and corners are required to be caulked to seal it up so no water and moister can leak through. As far as shower doors, I am not understanding this as we did install according to guide and checked level, all is in tolerance."

After showing up without the proper materials the first time, Rich and his crew showed up on time and did an excellent job repairing my ceiling and walls. I would definitely hire them again.

I ended up getting a refund for that because the gentleman was very, very nice but he didn't bring the stuff that he needed to do the job. He was only here for less than 2 and a half hours. He didn't do the job. He didn't have any seam tape. He didn't have enough mud to do the walls. He didn't come prepared. He did some but he didn't complete so they refunded my money back. He didn't have the supplies to do it. He was a very nice guy. He came and showed up. He was on time. He was very nice and very professional.

"With All due Respect. I did perform the job. When we spoke over the phone you stated it was 1 repair in your basement wall going down the stairs, witch i did patch and complete. Also when i arrived there you added the whole basement walls that were half taped and damaged to the job, witch i asked if your husband if you had extra tape to do the basement walls. I also explained the the tape had to wait 4-6 hours to dry before reapply coats. Your husband was ok with this and stated he would finish the walls. I also have a contract, Your husband signed off on stating the work was completed. I am sorry if you feel the job was not done to your standards. Also need to state i used 3/4 of a 4.5 bucket of joint compond. on this job."

The job was completed in a timely manner and exceeded my expectations. I was planning to apply two coats of spackling myself, but it only needed one coat saving me time. I also got good advise for techniques to make my job easy. I would hire them again for any drywall work or other home improvements for that matter.
