Clear Vision Construction

ClearVision was wonderful from beginning to end. They did a thorough inspection of my old roof and gave me a quote for a tear off. The two roofers assigned to my project, Manuel and Sergio, were amazing. They worked very diligently and completed the project in a timely manner. The materials (shingles, etc.) were top-of-the-line. A post work inspection was done and photos taken. My new roof looks great!

They were on time. They cleaned up every day and were hard working. Lee Nielson and Derek Batchhelder are very professional and thorough. The price was in my budget!

The sales person did a good job explaining the work needed, what they would do, and provided a clear estimate. I purchased the plus package with ridge vents. The crew did a good job removing and installing the new roof, boards, and skylight. We had an issue with too much oil on a packag or two of the shingles which created an interesting look on my roof. We worked through the issue by holding payment for that part of the work until the oil faded (a few months). It has been about a year and the roof is doing well.

The job was done well, carefully, and with everything that the estimator promised. Really pleased with the job and the care that was taken all along the way.

So frustrated... I needed my barn's metal roof screws replaced and resealed. At the same time, I wanted to have the gutters upgraded to larger, commercial gutters with the attached clean-out filters. I received bids from three contractors. 8/1/19 - While Clear Vision was not the least expensive, Sean Fee assured me they could do all the work and advised me, in-depth about my gutters. They won my business for sure. 8/19/19 - I met w/ Sean Fee and gave him a $4000 deposit. AUGUST - ??? Quite a bit of work was done. Then crickets. Nothing. No contact. The gutters looked really good except that only clean-outs were placed on the north side of the barn, but not the south side. OCTOBER - I have to call because Sean isn't returning my emails. Is the roof done? The gutters are all upgraded but don't have cleanouts on all of them. What the heck is going on? NOVEMBER - Derek Batchelder calls me back. They changed project managers and the roof project still needs to be done. I was VERY specific: YOU MUST LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU"RE COMING SO I CAN MOVE HORSES. No call, no notice, nothing. 11/14/19 - "The work is all done, here is your Final Invoice" (Of course, it's wrong). I'm charged for clean-outs on all the gutters. Derek gave me a $200 credit after I complained. The deposit read $3100, not the $4000 I put down. 11/18/19 - Corrected invoice w/ the credit for the missing cleanouts and $4000 deposit. 11/22/19 - Bugging me for payment. I let Derek Batchelder know that I was going to have my handy man go up and take a look at the roof to be sure it was done correctly. 11/27/19 - Bugging me for final payment (wish they would have been that motivated to get the work done). My guy did get up on a ladder and look at the north side of my roof. It appeared to have been done. I let Derek know he would have the payment no less than 30 days from the final, corrected invoice (12/18/19). 12/5/19 - Derek threatens me with a late fee of 1%. Sure wish they would have been in that much of a hurry to finish my work. I accepted the late fee and asked him to invoice me. 12/13/19 - I mailed $2555 to the address on the invoice: 7685 SW Cirrus Drive, Beaverton, OR 97008, (503) 313-2850 12/20/19 - Derek says he has not rec'd the final payment. Maybe because the address on the invoice was wrong? On this email signature, it reads, "Clear Vision Construction LLC, 8110 SW Nimbus Ave, Beaverton, OR 97008. 12/21/19 - I'm teaching a riding lesson in my barn and get dripped on. then I look around and see NO LESS than NINE leaks in my supposedly finished roof. Of course, the South Side where my handyman didn't check. I am FURIOUS, to say the least. I've attached a photo of the leak. So, what recourse do I have? The only reason they got two stars was because of the gutters and Sean's help. He gave me some very good advice on the gutters needed for my barn. Otherwise... maybe run from these guys... Or keep a VERY close eye on their work and invoicing. Update: 1/28/2020 My roof leaks worse than when I originally called them. Run.

After getting three bids we went with Clear Vision Construction. On every touch (bid, scheduling, project duration, and follow-up) they were top notch. They got us on the schedule fast, finished the job quickly and took an extreme amount of care doing it. What really impressed me was the attention to detail. They made sure everything, down to the last staple was picked up (we have dogs and that was important to me). The design of our old roof didn't shed water away as efficiently, they took the initiative to correct the problem. They made sure every possible point of water penetration was secured. I could go on and on. If you are looking for a great company to put your roof on, look no further, in fact, look at the majority of the review here, it tells the story better than I can. I will say this, we will have them back for a few more projects shortly. Thanks again CVC for a very well done job.

It was very good! They were prompt, they cleaned up and they did it in just a few days. They are so quick.

Bryan (estimator) explained and demonstrated roofing materials at first meeting. He was experienced and attention to details about project proposal. We had scheduled with outstanding workers who came on time and worked directly three days to finish the whole roof and did all damaged plywood that we requested (well done and efficient). All inspections after completion and follow up the project with us afterward. Derek was cheerfully coming to our house for final inspection and concerns. He was clearly explained all questions and concerns that we had. Very satisfy with all his extraordinary customer service and pleasure to meet him. We definitely recommend them in future.

Over all We are happy with the job Clear Vision Did for us. The workmanship was over all good. I did see some things out of place but not a real big deal. The customer service in the beginning was a bit rough. I guess one owner did not want to honor our start update While the other owner DID THE RIGHT THING....THANKS to Michael and Gerry on getting it thru to the owners. After that The job went very good. Communication was great and there team listened and helped us make the right decisions as the job got finished. We got a 50 year roof with gutters. Thank you We are happy with the job, the roof looks great. Especial Thanks to Michael who sold us the job and walk us thru it and was there every step of the way and Gerry for being the leader Clear vision needs guide this company.. Excellent experience with our roof replacement from beginning to end. Our sales rep Lee was extremely personable, spent a lot of time ensuring we had details upfront, and was on par with his follow up. The crew that put roof on was on time every day, very interactive and educational at every step, and worked tirelessly despite the heat. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away after completion. I only gave price a B as we did not go with the cheapest, but the high quality is well worth the cost.

This was one of the easiest & best decision to hire Clear Vision for our new roof. The whole team was amazing. Started with getting the bid and having everything totally explained to us from start to finish. The guys who did the work on the roof were courteous and professional. Kept me updated on the progress and cleaned up every evening. They finished in 3 days on our 2200 sq foot home. Had a follow up with someone at the house after the work was complete. Great customer service!! A+ for everyone that I dealt with. I would highly recommend them.

We recently had a roof completed by Clear Vision Construction and we had a wonderful experience! We started by getting an estimate from Sean who was an honest, no BS, no pressure guy and wasn't trying to up sell us at every turn. Sean took a look at our house, took some measurements, gave us the sales pitch about what he thought and recommended. He then took this information back to his offices and emailed us a quote a day or two later. The quote was very reasonable and very much in line with what we expected foe the size of our place. It was a nice change from our previous two estimates that were double or triple Sean's quote. Once we accepted and gave them the first half of the payment they were at our house the next week dropping off materials! It took two of their guys two days to completely strip our house and garage, reroof both of them and clean up! The workers worked their butts off and they did an absolutely fantastic job. Clearvision, if you're reading this, give those two guys some sort of bonus, they're great workers. The workers located problem areas, rotten wood and bad plywood and then had their project manager Brandon call me before they did ANY changes. Brandon was nice and a great communicator, and explained exactly what was going on. He was quick to respond to any questions or requests I had as well. They also gave me exact dollar amounts for the changes they recommended all of which were fair prices. The clean up job was great. There wasnt a shred of roofing left on my lawn just some paint chips from my trim that needs repainting anyway. A few days after the job was finished they sent a gentleman out to do a final meet up, collect the final payment and ask how things went and if I had any feedback. All in all I would definitely recommend Clearvision for anyone looking to do a roof. They're a fair and hard working group.

The work was done when scheduled and the roof looks great! Communication was excellent and the owner inspected the work when it was done and even loped off some tree branches hanging over the roof. The workers left my place looking cleaner than when they started. Would definitely recommend this company.

This is the second time I hired ClearVision. They seem to be very well organized with specialist in each area: Estimation/quote, scheduling, supervision, and customer care. Their schedule is flexible, so they put our daily schedule first and came to our place after 5:30pm for estimation and final review. The owner is friendly and humble, and when we mentioned that we are a returning customer, he gave us some small discount from the final payment. They also gave us some sign up discount, since it was early in the season and we had the vent replacement done a year prior. Three crew members came to do the roof, and two of those I interacted spoke very good English, and were able to answer all my questions. They were on time, careful around my house, and cleaned up nicely each day they were done. They also sent someone to fix dry walls on the bathroom ceiling around the skylights. During the final review, we pointed out the newly replaced plywood is not painted. Though painting is not part of their job, they are willing to send someone to paint them at no cost. ClearVision does a through job.

It took a bit longer than estimated due to scorching hot weather that necessitated an earlier than normal stoppage each day. But the guys needed a break and they didn't want to damage shingles by walking on them when it was so hot. There were a lot of challenges with steepness of roof and many dormers and sky lights to flash around but it all came together. The roof looks great. They cleaned up everything.

The company was great. Phil the salesman was very good to work with. No pressure and explained things. The crew/installers doing the work were GREAT. very responsive, cleaned up at the end of the day and when the job was done. Didn't do any damage to the bushes, plants, and yard. Started early and worked a full day plus Kept us informed as to everything they did and also what needed to be done. Pricing was very competitive, not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but fair. Based on the different type of material that was used and the products a better price than a number of other roofers. Would recommend and use this company again, in fact they are giving us quotes to do some painting and if we can afford it we will have them do the work now or when we can.

It was excellent, the company was very communicative and responsive. They troubleshot any issues and were able to get it done within a short time and they also were the cheapest quote of anyone we had come to give an estimate. the workers were very professional and did an amazing job cleaning up and they all seemed to be highly trained. I would highly recommend Clear Vision to anyone and we will surely use them again for future projects we need to do.

I can't say enough about this company, the product they use and their professionalism. I'm a tough customer to please and Clear Vison Construction nocked it out of the park. I received 4 bids from top companies for this job and in the end I know I made the best choice. Excellent roofing product and design system! Friendly installation team along with two additional follow-up visits after installation (inspection of the job and a personal visit from the owner). This is how business should be done. Do not pass on giving this company a chance. You will not be disappointed.

The crew showed up as planed on the first day. They started removing the old layer when they noticed the plywood underneath had things growing on them. Got a call from Derek at clearvision suggesting I should replace all the plywood with new. I agreed for the extra work. Even with all the replacement they were done in a day and a half. They were a hard working team. The gutters came out looking very good. I was very satisfied with their work.
