Clearway Plumbing & Heating

This was my first time using Clearway and Jim came over same day. First, he called me back immediately and was over my home within the hour. He looked at my problems and told me what the price would be. He didn't charge me to just walk in the door as so many do. I found him to be reasonable, reliable, clean, neat, efficient and quick. Jim was personable, quiet and did his work. This is a family run business and Jim is the owner. I also showed him a couple of other things that would need to be done in the near future and he gave me a written estimate and told me to call him when I was ready. Half the battle these days is getting someone to not only call you back but actually come over SAME DAY (within the hour no less!) and be reasonable and not take advantage or try to high-pressure you like a used car salesman. I will most definitely be using them (Jim) in the future and I am relieved to know that maybe I finally have a plumber that I can count on. So far, so good. I would highly recommend.

We refer friends and family to Clearway without hesitation; these guys are the best. We first found Clearway on Angie’s List about 6 years ago. Our home is starting to show it’s age and we’ve been trying to update things proactively, so we decided to take advantage of a coupon they had to replace an outdoor spigot. Two outdoor spigots, one leaky faucet, two toilet replacements, one slab leak repair and, most recently, an update of our hot water heater to an on demand system and we wouldn’t dream of using anyone else. Their work and customer service are second to none.

Job went very well. Called and left voicemail for Jim on a Sunday. He immediately called back. Came next day on Monday morning to evaluate job. Returned in afternoon with Paul and Adam who did the work. They were very professional, very clean and efficient. Very pleased and would definitely use them again.

I cannot say enough about the great response I had!I called them at 4:30 and they returned my call within a minute...literally a minute .. They asked me to text a photo of the toilet...they called right back and came right over to look at the toilet. They went to buy a part, came right back and fixed it! The job was finished by 5;40! And done right! Yes, I lucked out ... and called them at the end of their day...they could have easily let it go but instead, came right over and took on the job. I will definitely use them again if I need any plumbing work done.

Placed a call on Monday, which was immediately returned by Jim, and I scheduled the work for Wednesday morning. Paul and Adam showed up on time, assessed the job, and gave me an estimate right then and there. Upon approval they began work immediately and completed it in a timely manner. They were competent, considerate, and professional. In addition, during this particular time ,they kept a distance while wearing masks for their sake and mine. Would gladly hire them again and will be keeping their card on file.

All went VERY well! Jim and Tim did a beautiful job, and we are very happy with the result. I called Jim on Tuesday.......we scheduled the job for that Thursday, and it was completed on that day........what a pleasure to get the work done so quickly!

We contacted Jim and he was able to come by that same day to evaluate problem. He and his team arrived promptly that Saturday to find and fix the leak. They found it relatively quickly, repaired the pipe, and tested the fix. They were efficient, professional, cleaned up the area when done and were a pleasure to work with. I especially liked that they had no problem answering all of our questions. I will definitely use them in the future.

A real find! We've had many plumbers, good and bad, but by far, Clearway was the best! I called them yesterday with two issues: a leaking relief valve on our water tank, and a slow draining toilet that coughed up grey gunk after 2 days of Draino Max Buildup treatment and plunging, yet wouldn't drain properly. Jim Montalbano got back to me very quickly, gave me the low-down on what was most likely happening, and sent his team over bright and early today. Paul and Adam were polite and very easy to talk with. (We've experienced plumbers who treated us with condescending attitudes, so this was a pleasure!) They explained what was wrong, what needed to be done and did it so quickly and professionally, we were astonished! We would definitely have these guys back for future projects, and we thank them and Jim for a job well done. Highly recommended!

Great they were very professional

So he began by removing the hot water handle so he could get to the stem. 5 min. then he said he couldn't get the stem out and didn't want to break the plumbing if he tried to hard to do so. 20min. so then he proceeded to replace the down spout no issues, and done. 2o min. so 45min work time and one part the down spout and it cost $275.00 REALLY!
