THANK YOU SO MUCH to Climatic Cooling and Heating for installing our new AC unit with better pricing than anyone else, amazing staff and quick and accommodating timing. Sonny was so kind to come out and explain everything to us prior to the replacement and install. They charge a fee but they also offer a contract. So we participate in that. I think they do a great job. I think they're reasonable for this area.

I was very pleased with the customer service, price, and installation of the heat pump. The price of the heat pump was very reasonable and half the price quoted by my former HVAC company (a well known, high visibility company).

I have a contract with them as well. They come out in the fall; they come out in the spring. Again, it's from the contract, so included in the contract is a free fall inspection a free spring inspection. We pay, I think we pay $750 a year because we have four HVAC units, so it's based on how many units you have. Again, I had a prior contract with a different company, and they were charging us over $2,000 for exactly the same thing. They come out where one person can do four units in a couple of hours, whereas the previous company I used, they'd send two technicians out and they'd take half a day to do the same thing. The other company always found something wrong, and you know charge us for stuff. Climatic comes out, does their thing and doesn't try to sell us unnecessary stuff, and I've been very happy with them. They're professional, very clean. They're in the house; they're out of the house, don't leave a mess. They're very knowledgeable, and they don't try to sell me stuff I don't need. My first impression was very good and like I said they're very professional, very polite. They're professional overall.

They sent out Sammy Long. He was very good, extremely knowledgeable, honest and intelligent. He had to do a few other things that brought the price up, but that was fine. Sammy was awesome. I even called them back to see if they’d help my dad out in Maryland, but they said they don’t service the area. I plan on using them again and would highly recommend them.

Contractor or Serviceman or Technician came to home checked upper unit and lower outside unit and he said there was not any lick and he checked second time and then he said there was a lick and you need to replace the evaporator coil and that's it. He asked for credit card and charged $232 for just checking. And he clarified that checking is not part of $95 call charge. According to me that was totally money rip off. As a customer, if you pay $232 for nothing which is not fare. Just wanted to make aware everyone that $232 for service call and other good company provides same service in $95.

"To follow up- our reply on Angie's list, I apologize you weren't happy with our service. We explain to customers when they call that there is a $95 dispatch fee that covers our technicians driving to your home and doing a basic diagnosis. You placed a service call on a very busy day but we still had a senior technician with over 20 years of experience at your home within 2 hours from the call. He met with your husband and diagnosed the system was low on refrigerant. He gave your husband the option of charging up the system or performing a leak search to find the location of the refrigerant leak. Your husband chose the refrigerant leak search and the technician disassembled the indoor and outdoor unit to perform an electronic leak search. He located the leak in the indoor coil and provided options for repair or replacement. The total call has 15 minutes of travel time to your home and 1 hour 17 minutes on site. The total repair ticket was $231 and change. We did our best to provide you with options for repair or replacement. We are a family owned and operated company that's prides ourselves in taking care of our customers. After seeing you left a poor review for us on facebook and our first 'f' review on Angie's list in 27 years I was disappointed to see this was your first time using us and you never even contacted us to try to resolve any issue. I sincerely hope you find another company that can meet your expectations here in Loudoun County. If anyone reading this review would like to see the service ticket from the call and the options we provided please contact us and we are happy to provide it and will remove this clients name and address."

Mike Kinley came out to our home in Reston VA to fix a problem 3 other HVAC companies could not figure out. His customer service is IMPECCABLE, Mike anticipates customer needs, his communication skills are out of this world, Mike creates a team approach to finding economical solutions. Mike is TIMELY, Professional, Very Experienced, Very successful and experienced so he finds the BEST approach to a problem. Has multiple areas of expertise so that there is no hand off between multiple contractors so he can do it himself. Just simply THE best customer experience I have ever had with any vendor. Highly stressful area of AC or Heat and he has fixed so many problems in our home our HVAC/AC is puring like a kitten. Thank you Mike Kinley!!!

I kept using them because of the overwhelming fact that everything worked. Usually when you have systems like this installed in your house there is always a call back for something went wrong or they forgot to do something. That did not happen. It just worked kind of like an Apple computer, it just works. <br /> <br /> When it came around for a tune up, I thought why not use the people that know they system. They have not disappointed. From my standpoint from just talking to other neighbors that use other services, that Climatic uses top of the line equipment and their selection is good. They presented all sorts of option to me. You can go with a mid line kind of furnace, you can go with a high end kind of furnace "we don't thing you need it but you can. It will fit. It will fit with your humidifier." They had options and they had good ones. They were very precise about things. "You can do this, you can't do this because you know size limitation or code limitations." They just knew their equipment and they knew what would work at that time for a 15 year old house. When a house gets in the double digits you kind of wonder because the stuff the house came with is no longer being used or it has been upgraded or it is no longer available and you have to replace half of it. So it is a pretty frightening concept and Climatic came in and kind of said you have a 15 year old furnace and it was only supposed to last 12. It is an expensive endeavor. They had financing. They made it painless. They really did. They were like we know you don't know about the equipment but we do and here is what we can do.

I would say their price is pretty competitive. If I could give them a double "A" I would. One person came out and it took him about 1 hour. He was courteous, quiet, defiantly knew what he was doing. He had a certain kind of a mental check list he was going through, he was very thorough. You couldn't even tell he was here.

Everything went well, the technician was nice and seemed competent. My problem is with the billing. I purchased my service through Angies List. Climatic keeps billing me for the service. I have now received a bill that says I am 90 days past due. I take my credit rating seriously. I will AGAIN spend my time to straighten this out, as I did a few months ago. The 20$ I saved going through Angies List is not worth hassle.

The technician was refreshingly honest and explained to me that climatic valued referrals and always strived to be fair and honest. He explained that I my unit just needed to be recharged with refrigerant and that it would likely last a few more years. No pressure, no sales pitch, just fair honest work.
