It looks awesome!! I always use this company for 4 hours of work in the front and back yard. However, we kept getting bogus prices for landscaping and realized they perform this kind of work on a regular. I am definently keeping them on retainer. It's been 4 years running, so why not keep it going.

Allison was in charge of our project to overhaul our jungle of a backyard. We gave her carte blanche and she proposed several creative options to respond to our budget. we were very happy with her attention to detail and prompt responses to our changing requirements. The work was done very quickly (one day), and the results were even better than expected. The workers were also great, and efficient. When I asked them to make a change after they had already packed their tools, they responded to my instructions very nicely and did it on the spot. We were so happy with them that we have retained them for monthly clean up. We would highly recommend Clip Lawn Care.

I have been using this company for nearly three years now, and am continually impressed by their reliability, responsiveness, and attention to detail. My lawn is mowed every week without fail, even if weather prevents their coming on the scheduled day. The few (very minor) issues have been resolved immediately and to my complete satisfaction. The attention to detail has been amazing - my lawn isn't even very big, but looks fantastic every time.

It took them over a month to come out and perform work after deposit was made. They keep on rescheduling.

"I am at a loss as to what to say to this review. While it is true we took awhile to get the work done, we also never got paid the full amount. We were paid the deposit and then after completion of the job the balance was left unpaid. We put the account into collection after months of requesting payment. Everything is good except one time I expected a call after an issue but they promised will fix the issue next time. <br /> <br /> So far they have been okay. I have only used them for 6 months so I will know more next summer.

The service went fine. There was another $80 additional cost to the $216 Big Deal cost. The workers could not speak English so it was hard to communicate.

We are very happy you were satisfied with the work. I've hired Clip to do several jobs for me and the lawn workers do a great job. After each job my lawn looked great and I showed off what they did to my family and friends. But I have to give them a low rating because of their billing practices. I signed a contract with them to re-seed my lawn and the contract included two applications of lime. The guys did the work, I paid the bill and was happy. Then six weeks later I got another bill out of the blue that said I owed money for the work that was already had done. I contacted them to dispute the charge and asked why I was being charged again for work that was already paid. The billing manager argued with me and said that the contract I signed wasn't correct and I owed them more money. In the end I paid the extra money because I was tired of them emailing me repeatedly. If you do work with them know that you can't trust the contract they provide for the work.

"I was hoping to discuss this with you over the phone. As I explained in the email, the billing was exactly what you signed up for. The timing of the charges was what confused things. It was broken into two payments. So the $373 you agreed to became two separate invoices - one of $353 and the other of $20. I was going to offer to write off the last $20 due to the confusion. I hope you will give us another chance as we have done a few things for you and, as you say, the work is always done well and you have been happy with us. I enjoyed meeting you awhile back and seeing your home. I am very pleased with the work Clip Lawn Care continues to do to keep my lawn looking great. This is my second year using their service. They always respond quickly if I have a problem with their service and correct any problems immediately. I feel like the service provided was poor and my lawn has suffered significantly for it, all while paying a premium for this service. I take great pride in my lawn and have performed my own lawn maintenance resulting in a great looking lawn, until last Spring, when my wife and I had our first child. At the recommendation of one neighbor to get my lawn to "the next level", and in an effort to save time, I contracted with CLIP to perform their Lawn Treatment service. Last year during their first year of treatment, half of my lawn had been killed by the end of the season and my lawn had never looked as poor as it did once fall had arrived. I was informed that this was due to the significant amount of weeds that were removed/killed during the treatments over the summer and that the answer to get my lawn thick, green and only needing modest care moving forward (e.g. using CLIPS annual lawn treatment) would be to have the "total lawn renovation" service performed, which came with a price tag north of $700. Due to the sad state of my lawn and trusting that CLIP knew what they were doing, I agreed to have this service performed. To say that I was incredibly disappointed and frustrated by the service promise compared to what was provided would be a severe understatement. I happened to be home during the application of this service, which for some reason was decided to be performed during a heavy rain storm, which washed away any grass seed which was applied. I also noticed that the "soil" (and I use that word very loosely) being used appeared to be more like a dirt and gravel combination. Upon further inspection after the application, I was even more appalled to find the described "Special soil/nutrient" promised actually included gravel, glass shards, and plastic/garbage. After I submitted many pictures of the shoddy work and product to CLIP, they acknowledged a "mix up" in the product/service applied and offered to try and remedy the situation. However, rather than remove the rocks and garbage that was scattered throughout my lawn and reapply the product/service I paid for, they only aerated and seeded my lawn (which has a value of at half of the cost for the service I paid for) instead. Even after this incredibly disappointing service, I decided to give them another season to make up for the poor performance and hopefully get my lawn back to being presentable, boy was that a mistake. My lawn is once again half dead and in even worse shape than last year, and all I have to show for it is $1,300 less in the bank. So my advice to anyone looking to use CLIP for this/these services is to either look for a different lawn service company, or just do it yourself. For less than half of CLIPS costs, I was able to make my lawn look great just from using "big box store" products.

"We strongly apologize for the level of service you have received over the last 2 years. Please recognize that the service you received is not typical and was a series of bad luck and mistakes on our part. I know last year's lawn renovation was a disaster when the topsoil we received from Metro Ground Covers was fill dirt and from there it was hard to fix due to all of the rocks (we should have noticed the error and never put down fill dirt on your yard). Upon you notifying us and sending the pictures we did reprimand the crew and notify our supplier. We also sent the crew back to remove the rocks and debris and perform aeration and overseeding (at no additional cost to you). When you signed up for our program initially you did acknowledge that the lawn was full of weeds. Of course our program killed these weeds which left you with a mostly dead lawn. While unpleasant, it was the first step to achieving a green, weed free lawn. Of course the chaos with the fill dirt did not help this issue as we needed to get grass back in the lawn to prevent the weeds from coming back. I do want to make note that we refunded the $700 you paid for last years lawn renovation this year (I know this remedy came after the review). We do know and acknowledge the errors made as far as the lawn renovation and the cancelling of your service and have remedied this issue with you. We apologize for the inconvenience and are very sorry about the issues you encountered with our company - especially since the service you received is not typical from our company. ~CLIP Lawn Care Team"

Just bought a Historic downtown house but the yard is overgrown and was filled with piles of building materials like unwanted bricks and cements piles. We found Clip online and filled out the request. They responded the next day and we arranged a field visit a few days later with the manager. We got the quote the same day. The price was reasonable. We decided to hire them. Three people showed up on time as scheduled with a truck. Although they spoke little English, we manage to communicate what need to be done. They spent a whole day non stop working in the yard and did a great job especially the removal of the brick and the cement which was very undertaking!! They also trimmed the tree branches, the lawn and the shrubs. They cleaned up at the end of the day. I was impressed by the result - The yard now looks so well manicured and sexy. We are happy with Clip. The whole process is very straight forward, efficient and reasonably priced. Most importantly, they delivered an outstanding work!

Clip Lawn Care was very responsive with Heather sending me an email the same day I purchased the Big Deal. Scheduling was a snap and they were here some 2 days after the purchase. Two gentlemen arrived for two hours each. The man who trimmed the bushes and trees was quite good. The work he completed really looks terrific. Unfortunately I think we as consumers often underestimate how much work can be accomplished in x number of hours. In addition, the clean-up time is part of the 4 hours. They got through most of the front yard and never got to the backyard. In summary I am very impressed by the quality of work, but disappointed that 4 hours didn't even get the entire front yard taken care of. Clearly, I knew there was a lot of work to be done. Next time in a similar situation I will know to purchase a bigger package with more hours.

Our general manager contacted you the day of the leaf cleanup because we wanted to make sure that you were aware of the time that had been spent so far and that it was going to be around $1000. The response was yes we have lots of leaves. There was no mention of being disappointed in the work or the pace of the workers at that time or any other time after the work was completed in November of last year. What a GREAT job. We bought the property a year and a half again, and I don't know when the lawn was last edged before that. This looks absolutely fantastic - sharp and crisp, with special care taken for my newly planted plants and garden items such as bird baths, etc. <br /> I am completely pleased with all the lawn and garden care services I've received, including the weekly mowing. <br />
