When we purchased our home in May 2014, the previous owners had provided a 2-year contract with Aire Serv for bi-annual tune ups. When we had the summer tune-up last June, we found that we needed a new AC unit. That was pretty much expected for the age of the home. Each person we dealt with through Aire Serv was so helpful and professional. The technicians always explained their work and follow up is great. They are always on time and do a great job.
They came back for our spring/summer tune-up last week. I told them the AC seems to be cooling okay, but the upstairs doesn't get as cool as we'd like. Deon Wilson, one of their expert technicians, spent a lot of time trouble-shooting the issue. He found that the original duct work (from the builder) was not conducive to getting the air pushed upstairs. Then he opened the Lenox coil unit that is installed with the furnace in the basement. He found that there was a kink in the copper coil where the Freon goes in. He said that was a manufacturer defect. He said they would come back in a week to replace the entire coil unit for no charge to us. He also had them hand-craft new duct work to install that should help move the air upstairs. All of this for no additional cost...not even a charge for labor. We really appreciate Deon and the time he took to find the issue. We also appreciate his ability to find a solution and make it happen.
Kirk and Cory from Aire Serve just completed the repairs and did a great job. Kirk took time after finishing to walk through the house and check to see if we needed anything else.
We highly recommend Aire Serv of northern Colorado. They are honest and great to work with. They stand by their work and product. It's so refreshing in today's market to find a company that works so hard for their customer. We appreciate the work ethic and integrity of everyone we've dealt with.
They were unable to remedy the issue with the temperature of the house. The service itself was based on a warranty that they installed. The AC unit is not cooling the house properly, but they are unable to fix it.

The provider misdiagnosed the issue and started removing parts from the furnace. He eventually told us that nothing needed to be done to the unit and we were still charged.

Major problems were found that were not cost effective to repair so the technician gave us a quote for a new furnace, including adding A/C. He was professional, knowledgeable and answered all questions to our satisfaction. We delayed making a decision until we could get other quotes. We did an online search of HVAC information in general, vendor ratings and product ratings. This vendor received high marks. However, the general HVAC websites all stressed that the most important aspect of new HVAC systems was the quality of installation. While this vendor was of high quality, we ultimately went with another company that we felt would give us that highest quality of installation.
Quick response to my call. Estimate was done promptly and professionally. Problems arose when I tried to communicate with the estimator via the office/phone personnel. Work was delayed due to a part that was not in stock. When I called the office to get additional information regarding the delay, the office personnel said they would pass along my question. No one ever got back to me. A couple days later, repairmen arrived to do the work when I wasn't expecting them, because the front office failed to communicate the time frame to me. So my issue is with what appears to be a lack of communication between office personnel and the personnel in the field. Work was well done, to the best of my knowledge. It has been one month and AC is still working.
After buying a house nearly 3 years ago, we had a company come out to clean the ducts. The guy came out and informed us that our system was open and blowing around the attic. We called the company that the former owners had used (and had installed the AC system) to resolve the problems. They would not return any of my calls over a 6 month period.
I was referred to Aire Serv who came out within 2 days. The first guy got up there and took pictures and assessed the extent of the problems up there which were numerous. He spent nearly 3 hours here getting the whole picture. He also checked the heater in the basement and the AC unit. He changed a filter I'd been told by the last company that they'd changed but clearly had not.
Guy #1 called his boss with his report and his boss came right down and spent nearly 3 hours himself coming up with the best plan to tackle the mess. We had dirty, insulation filled air blowing into our house, disconnects in the vent duct work, no insulation on much of the duct lines, an open sewer pipe venting into the attic, a disconnected line running from the roof and open ends on many of the ducts. Plus, the company that put in the AC left all their crap up there so there's duct lengths and parts all over half covered in insulation mess. One of the lines ran across the access to the attic! I saw it all myself, but they also took pictures.
Aire Serve will be fixing, sealing, cleaning and insulating the attic system. They'll remove the remove the debris so we can literally breath easier. They were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.
I'd like to know how this house passed inspection. I'd also love to know how the AC company could have left such a nightmare...

When the guy got there, he totally messed up how he put in the air filter so I had to reinstall a new one and they cost $40. He did a poor job of cleaning the unit and the guy I had come in to redo it showed me all the areas he missed. AirServ said a part was bad so had to replace it. When it was time for the heat to come on again, it didn;t work so I called them back and they said ANOTHER part had gone bad, but that the original part had also been bad...what are the odds? Rather than using them for the new part, I called someone else in who showed me all the errors done. I did get some of my money back from AirServ, but it was a terrible experience.
