"Hi Tanya. Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we always aim for a positive experience, we believe it is important to clarify that this matter was thoroughly reviewed by the court. The judge ruled in favor of B&S Building and Property Services LLC after determining that the contract had been breached on four separate occasions by you, the homeowner, and produced a false narrative through ommision of evidence. ?We take our contractual obligations and the quality of our work very seriously. We agree with your advice that homeowners should carefully review contracts, as they are designed to protect both parties and ensure the successful completion of a project. We wish you the best with your future home improvements."
"We are sorry to hear you were not happy with your experience with B&S Building and Property Services. Please keep in mind however, we reiterated multiple times during in person site visits that we cannot control the town inspector?s schedule and it will ultimately fall to their timing. We also had this fully disclosed on the Discovery Phase contract you signed as well, on the first page. We can confirm working days for the project to get completed but the ultimate final timeline will be dictated by town inspections. Please also keep in mind, the initial deposit was due PRIOR to any work being completed. We were told payment could not be completed at the time as you were out of the country - so, understanding the urgency of the timeline we decided to go ahead and move forward without the required up front payment in order to help move the timeline forward for you. Site plans, blueprints, and time spent was paid for out of pocket so we could help expedite the project timeline. Given the delays already seen based on indecisiveness for the final project, we were unable to finalize the plans for the project until nearly a month after the initial discovery phase contract was signed. This put a time crunch on the entire project. The town approved the submitted permit and attached documentations we provided, and once this information was relayed and a project work contract was submitted to you for your review and signature for work to start, you refused to sign and refused to pay the initial deposit amount for the discovery phase contract you agreed to that had been due months prior. At this point it was clear that the project was not going to work out and we requested payment in full. We received a list of concerns from you and addressed each one in writing to clarify any questions and concerns. When you still refused to pay the past due invoice, we did have to make it clear that payment was still due for services and products rendered as outlined and agreed upon within the original discovery phase contract you signed. We were disappointed the project did not work out as we were truly looking forward to making your living space more functional and aesthetic for you as you were looking forward to the birth of your child."
