Chris and his two sons did an amazing job on remodeling my basement into a playroom for my twin boys. They were very sweet, made me feel comfortable and also were very good with my two toddler boys. The moment they came to my house to do an estimate, i felt very comfortable around them and they were very friendly and threw out ideas on the remodel, like lighting and other ideas. They finished the job in less than 30 days (which was the timeline given) and they were very patient with me when i had changed my mind on certain things. Chris even played with my boys and had conversations with me, so I felt like they were more family than strangers working on my house. They did an excellent job on the remodel and everything turned out better than I had envisioned it. They were always on time and always cleaned up each day after they were done. I will be using them again for future remodels and i'm very pleased with the job they did. Thank you again CM Contracting!

They really did an exceptional job. The deck rebuild was a complicated job. The deck wasn’t built correctly originally so CM Contracting had to extensively modify the structure. They really did a great job. The deck looks really great, and I think I now have the strongest deck in the Lehigh Valley. The chimney work was a big concern of mine going into the job. The previous owner of the house let the chimney cap rust, and the rust stains ran down the Dryvit. It really looked bad. Chris worked with his paint supplier to get the color to match perfectly. He had Sherwin Williams out to my house on several occasions because Chris wanted it done right. It far exceeded my expectations, and now looks perfect. The caulking and power washing all went well too. I would highly recommend CM Contracting. Chris is very responsive. We would communicate often via phone or txt. His crew is great too. Very polite and friendly.

We used Angie’s list to find a contractor to work on our main floor and second floor bathroom (and some other minor work). After several contractors visited our home and told us that they could not convert our main floor bathroom to a full (or quoted an excessive price for the work), we ultimately called CM Contracting after reviewing their ratings on Angie’s list and other sites. In our initial phone consultation, both the head contractor (Chris) and his son (Tyler, also a licensed contractor) were professional, prompt and timely with scheduling a visit. Within 48 hours, Chris and Tyler arrived to the home, accessed both bathrooms and discussed the scope of work required. Unlike other contractors who came up with a number on the spot, CM Contracting said they would research our building plans and get back to us with a number. After a week, we were contacted with a quote and request for a followup meeting. After meeting face to face to discuss the price, we agreed upon the work and a start date, and they acquired all permits needed for the scope of work. At the beginning of work, Tyler took incredible steps to ensure dust and debris would be clear from the main floor by taping paper down on the wood floors and vacuuming/sweeping at the end of the work day. Chris was in constant communication throughout the construction, regularly contacting us to give updates and discuss any minor change in the scope of work. He also did a great job managing his subcontractors, which resulted in a timely completion of the work. His electrician Ken did incredible work with wiring the bathroom and fans in the bedrooms. His plumber Don also did an incredible job removing a non-functioning water softener, plumbed two bathrooms, and installed additional control valves. Most importantly, everyone involved warrantied their work, which is a huge financial relief when choosing a contractor for your home. Overall, we were happy with the daily interactions we had with CM Contracting and their subcontractors and we are very happy with our experience.

CM Contracting has been very professional and respectful throughout the process of remodeling my entire home. Custom fabrication was a large part of the whole process. Chris kept us informed with everything being done at all times. We wanted to change a few things from the original plans and he was very accommodating with all we asked of him. Chris was very easy to communicate with. We were very hesitant to have any contractor come into our home with the amount of valuables we have on hand but they were all very trustworthy. He also worked around some of the physical issues we have in the home. We appreciated the fact that we were able to stay in the home while the work was being completed. We invested a large amount of money into this project. <br>Chris and his crew exceeded our total expectations!!! CM Contracting is definitely our first choice for all future projects at our home!

CM Contracting did a fantastic job on working with me on renovating my kitchen, and working with me in my design tastes. They did alot of custom work, which turned out wonderful. We did concrete countertops! New windows, and they also did new doors for me as well. Not only did they work with me on concept of the kitchen, but worked around a much needed doggy door, that they installed and went out of their way to make a built-in step to help them with the out side extra depth, now that is looking after your client and it's pets. They where professional, prompt, worked with me, helpful. Overall and amazing team and look forward to working with them in the future on my next project

He did a good job. I was satisfied. I called them on the phone and they came about 10 days later. I did not mind because I had other stuff to do. He was conscientious and did extra work which he did not charge for. He always asked me what I wanted done and before he did the work, he explained what he was doing. He had his son and his wife working for him. He got a tooth ache while working and had to leave for about 2 hours to get his tooth inspected. He was very professional.

Not well my carpet is permantely stained with paint, the painters that work for this company are a joke. Chris had to come and fix what they screwed up. <br />

Well, I went above and beyond my job to correct some the mistaskes that you created. I also said to your wife that if she has any questions or concerns to please call right away. I received a not so nice text from you, which by the way is very impersonal and far from professional, 3 WEEKS later saying that your not happy with the job. I can say this, that basement was a in bad shape and that carpet wasn't in good shape either, but we were able to reinstall it even after the company that tore it out, ruined it. none of this sits well with me."

We very much appreciated that Chris listened to what we wanted to have done and why; after listening he sent pictures of options and made suggestions that would help to make the kitchen look really nice. He sent pictures as the work was being completed to make sure we liked everything as it was being completed. After the initial work was completed, we added a few more things to the to do list and had the kitchen light fixtures, the range hood, outside light fixtures and replacements of our sun room skylights. We very much liked the work that was done and are planning/saving for our next project and will be calling Chris again to complete the work. <br />

Chris of CM Contracting contacted me promptly to schedule an appointment to discuss the projects. He conveniently scheduled an evening appointment to meet with me. We reviewed the projects and he offered advice on the door that would work best in my home. When the materials were in, Chris contacted me to schedule an appointment to complete the work. At the scheduled time he arrived promptly with an electrician and 2 others to complete the work professionally and promptly. They installed a toilet, a ceiling fan with a remote, a hallway fixture and a bi-fold door. They did excellent work, removed the old items and cleaned up the areas they worked in. I just moved to the area and I am extremely pleased to find a contractor who does excellent work at a fair price. Chris followed up with a phone call to make sure that I was satisfied with the work completed. I highly recommend CM Contracting and plan on using them again for big and small projects in my home. <br />

We first met with Chris and put together an outline for the work, we had paint available, Chris made sure the paint was a match to what was on the surrounding walls. We then scheduled a day and time for the work to be done. When his team came to the house they were professional and respectful of our property wearing shoe covers or even taking their shoes off when necessary. They went straight to the task of their work at hand spackling and patching all the holes and scrap marks from our picture frames. Then to the painting, coating the wall with a smooth even layer making it a job well done. When finished they packed up they gear and totally cleaned around the area they had just worked all in all we could not have been more pleased. <br />

We made an appointment with Chris to give us an estimate on giving us a new kitchen. We talked about a budget and he was able to provide ideas right away, time frames and explained how he does business. He was with us every step of the way in picking everything out for the kitchen and even went to bat with the cabinet company when needed. Every worker that entered our home was friendly, hard working and trustworthy. Our boys were home for the summer and they were comfortable hanging out with everyone who worked in our home and even learned a thing or two. Our kitchen is amazing! Great cabinetry, beautiful tile floor and back splash design, lighting is perfect and the open concept is wonderful. Minor issues happened along the way but Chris took care of them promptly. We spend lots of time in our new kitchen. Couldn't be happier.

Great! I will have further jobs done by this company. Job was done in a very timely manner. Contractor is great to work with. Price was less than other bidders, but quality of work was exceptional. This contractor totally demolished my bathroom and built me one that was more than I expected. I'm still trying to believe it's my bathroom. There was a slight delay at the beginning of the project, but the project was still completed ahead of time. <br /> <br /> I would highly recommend this contractor to anyone. You won't be sorry unless you are looking for a cheap, flimsy job. But if you want a reasonably priced awesome job, call CM contracting

Went very well. I was concerned when he had to open a wall in living room for the duct work, but he assured me that when he was done, I wouldn't know he did any work there, and he was absolutely right. Wall looks the same as it did before, you can't tell it had two big holes in it. Love my new bathroom. After tearing out the fiberglass tub surround, he had to fix the wall and then waterproofed everything. Chris did a great job on the tile, looks wonderful. I'm very happy with my new bathroom. <br />

Right off the bat, he called me right away and I appreciated that a lot. He was very motivated to make sure that I was happy with his work. He checked frequently and he was conscientious and wanted to make sure that his customers are happy. He gave me an estimate right away and informed me how much time it was going to take. As far as the estimate, the price was the price; there were no additional charges. He said that whatever the price is, that was what I will be charged and that was what he stuck to. As far as the time frame, he finished the work when he said he was going to. He was very friendly, personable, and trustworthy. I would most definitely use them again if needed.

I also ask you to check over the work we preformed, especially the spots you were most concerned with. Your words were, it looks good. We reached out to CM Contracting after seeing them on Angie's list, initially looking for him to complete some small projects and fix up our bathroom. My email was returned the same day. I spoke with him on a Friday and he came to my home on Monday to give me a quote. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He quoted us a good price and started the work on our home quickly as our schedule permitted. He promptly showed up when he said he would, and completed the work in the time frame he gave us. He did an outstanding job in our bathroom, making the torn up walls look like new and putting quarter round on our stair well to fix an uneven gap in the molding. He was very clean even as he worked and left the work area spotless. He followed up with us to ensure we were completely satisfied with his work. Chris also befriended our crazy dogs and was clearly very family oriented. He did a great job and is a great guy. We are using him again starting next week to put in new tile in our kitchen. We highly recommend him.

This man came out to give an estimate for a small job then came back the next week to do the job. He brought his own tools, plus cleaned with a vacuum while he was sanding. Did a beautiful job. If I ever need work done I would only call him, not only did he do a nice job but to do two trips plus the work for so little money tells the true character of the individual, I would highly recommend him.

Everything from the start was handled professionally. Being that I have never been involved in having to deal with this kind of damage to my house requiring me to find my own contractor willing to start the job not knowing what could be involved once it was started. Only having the small estimate that my insurance gave me Chris showed more concerned about how to get me back in my home then how much money he would make on the job. <br /> There was a lot involved and he started just before the winter hit in 2013. <br /> Here are the details. <br /> Before any work could be started the owner of the other house who live in New York had to be contacted to get permission to cross the property line slightly which was needed to do the proper repairs. Chris contacted the owner, wrote a letter and had it checked by a lawyer so he could start the job then went on to deal with the township which were giving me a hard time. <br /> I did not have to do any of it. <br /> At the start of the job everyone was sure there was a common firewall between the houses but it turned out that there was not. Only the first floor had a wall not the second and third plus the bathroom wall had to be removed and there was nothing under the floor just a hole going under from the other house. This was more work then Chris quoted me for but he continued on the job even though I had to submit this information to my insurance company with no guarantee they would pay the extra money he needed to do the job. <br /> Chris and his guys continued working in the winter even when it was so cold I would not have done it. If it was not for his professionalism an thinking ahead the pipes in the bathroom would have frozen and broke. To keep this from happening he built an outside structure with heat so he could fix the whole and put up the wall. I found him to be very creative in rebuilding the outside wall and went above and beyond what any other contractor I think would have. <br /> I now have a professional looking vinyl outside wall where the old house was attached. Let's not forget about the inside where a new great looking drop ceiling was installed, new carpeting installed, attic bedroom repaired and newly remodeled bath room that looks great and my wife is in love with. I could not be more pleased with the work that was done. <br /> As for the owner Chris. He is professional, friendly, takes care of any concerns or complaints you have promptly, anything that he feels is not done correctly or you it is done again until it's right and he was available to me seven days a week day or night when I need to talk to him. <br /> This is the contractor you want to hire. I will be recommending him to everyone and continue using his services in the future.

<p>His team jacked up the foundation in the area of damage, removed the deteriorating material, and repacked the stone foundation.</p> All work was done promptly and he cleaned up all work after he was complete. He was responsive to requests for changes.

Chris takes pride in his work and wants the customer to be happy. He was accommodating to changes I wanted to make to the original plan. He was also able to make things work when there were issues such as the walls not being perfectly straight. I am happy with the finished product and I have gotten compliments on the new kitchen. I have since hired Chris for other projects and I would recommend to others. <br />

The painting was not done to the owner of the company 's satisfaction , so he personally oversaw the work until he was pleased with the outcome. Absolutely every room is fantastic now and they went above and beyond to make each room sparkle. They cleaned up thoroughly and stayed on site until the task was finished. If you want someone who cares about their finished product as much as you do, THIS is the crew to hire! <br />

Chris promptly arrived to complete all work as estimated in a timely manner. All material for this job was purchased by the contractor. Chris was very respectful of me and my neighbors. Chris always cleaned up after himself and removed all scraps from my yard. My deck looks brand new! I was out of town due to unexpected circumstances and arrived home to find my deck furniture had all been arranged on my deck and my extra large umbrella (that I could not have moved) had been returned to its position. Also, I found my fountain had been cleaned and was filled with water and running. I could not have been more pleased! Thank you Chris.
