Collegiate Landscaping is a business to avoid. Nick Vidrick is one of the co owners and the person I dealt with. Their services were retained to mow two properties that I own. The mowing services were so bad, that I had multiple neighbors come up to me and ask me “what are these guys doing to your lawn?” It was an absolute clown show when they showed up to mow. Poor equipment that didn’t function, 6 or 7 guys wandering the yard and still missing spots. And left huge piles of grass all over the lawn that I had to rake myself or risk the lawn dying b After the third mow I called Nick to let him know I would no longer be needing their “services.” He gave me a sob story about how he was getting so many complaints from customers, because of their poor service, so I didn’t go too hard on him even though it was an absolute horror show of a job. I also had to inform him that his crew had damaged our aluminum fence in multiple places. He told me not to worry, and that things happen, and he would pay for it. I proceeded to get an estimate, told Nick the cost, and he said that was fine and to send him the invoice. I ended up sending him the invoice after the work was completed, but he has refused to pay it. I will be filing a small claims case soon. This company and Nick present themselves as young entrepreneurs trying to hustle with a business. Instead they are amateurs who know nothing about actual landscaping. They’re just in it for a quick buck. Good luck to you if you hire them for anything.
