Contract was signed on 10/31/11 with a finish date of 12/15/11. Basement is still waiting for completion and it's 2/14/12. They have 70% of the money and have only completed 30% of the job.

Contractor is nearly impossible to reach and has made and missed countless commitments. Not only will I never use them again for any inside work, but based on this experience, will never use them again for any outside landscaping.

They started on time and we are still on schedule for completion. So far, they have showed excellent craftsmanship on the framing work. The project is still in process.

They blew my mind. They do beautiful work. Their work looks just as good as their promotional material. They tore out my old patio, and put in a kidney shaped patio with two steps from flagstone and stone work. I was so impressed with the back patio work that they did, I had them tear up the front walkway and porch and redo that. Their price was very reasonable. Their work was quick, it was not some long, drawn out construction project.

We moved into a new home that was on an acre of dirt. We received landscape quotes and plans from 8 different landscapers/architects in the Denver-metro area. Colorado Artscape (we worked with Jeff McMcMurray) was the last company we received a bid from. We were very pleased with the plan and bid - which he was able to provide us within 48 hours! No other landscaping company could create our plans and bid as quickly. He showed us his portfolio, gave us references for his work, and we were very impressed with what we saw and heard from other customers. Jeff also told us that he could start on our plans in just 2 days, AND be able to finish both our front and back yard (approx 1 acre) in 3 weeks, and would review all HOA requirements and submit ALL paperwork required by our HOA. WOW -- talk about unbeatable timeframes, price and customer service -- So of course, we agreed to go with Colorado Landscapes. They did NOT require ALL money up-front, just a portion for materials, and then at various times thereafter - this $$ paying process was communicated to us by Jeff prior to us agreeing on going with them - the price went up a bit thoughout the process, but that's only because we had added some trees, and extended the back patio - but this was made very clear to us in the contract -- and there was NO sticker shock in the end. We paid exactly what we were quoted. Jeff makes everything very clear and easy to understand. You can rest assured that they never over-committ -- but ALWAYS over-deliver! :) . During the landscaping process, Jeff would either come by our home or call us to ensure we liked what we were seeing - his hands-on customer service was excellent, and their works guaranteed. Colorado Artscape was able to complete all of our work in ONLY 2 weeks (vs. the 3 weeks he committed to), and ALL was IN-COMPLIANT to our complex HOA requirements! We were very impressed! The workmanship was superior, and the landscape team was like an army of ants -- starting at the same time early morning, and leaving at the same time every night - they even worked weekends!. If I had questions that the landscape team couldn't answer, they would contact Jeff or his partner, Arturo via phone on the spot, and ensure my questions and.or concerns were answered and addressed. They were very flexible if I decided on a change. For example, I wanted to expand the back flagstone patio -- they were able to accommade my needs on the spot - including additonal cost. Even after all work was completed, Jeff would stop by and make sure everything was going okay -- and even check to ensure there were no brown spots in the grass (including checking on all trees and shrub drip lines) --- otherwise, he would adjust the sprinklers/drip lines for us. Jeff was a pleasure to work with and very proactive. It's been 2 years later, and we have used Colorado Artscapes' sevices several more times since their original work in 2009 -- we've added several more trees, shrubs, rocks and much berms. We are planning on doing a 2nd waterfall in our backyard next summer -- and obciously, our choice is Colorado Artscapes. They are unlike any contractors we have ever used in the past -- they are very easy to work with, and you get exactly what you're promised, if not more. Thanks, Jeff for making our landscaping experiences so easy and exciting to plan with you and your team!
