This is my second time using Cesar. As with the first time, the plants were very good quality and his work was excellent. He took care to make sure the finished work was done well. Cesar is very personable. I have no complaints about the quality of his work or his price. However, he is very frustrating to try to work with because he never answered voicemail, seldom responded in a timely way to texts or emails, did not show up when he said he would, and in the end, was paid for work he then refused to perform. I understand labor conditions are a challenge and weather can impact scheduling, but better customer responsiveness would be in order.

They asked 5000 deposit. I paid them the money. Then the permit was never submitted, basically they didn’t do anything after the deposit. Plus, Justin, who is their account manager keep saying the permit has been submitted, and materials will be ordered. Since they are Frauding people. Don’t hire them. Don’t pay a single penny to them. Be Careful!!!!

"Your pushed back because of your contractor on your house it’s not we haven’t done anything your permit is in for the fence in the process of being approved I’m in constant contact with the city and yourself I take care of everything you asked and you’ve also ask to change the proposal five times and you haven’t put down the deposit for the work only to hold your spot and you’ve yet to agree to make the payment I’ll happily refund your deposit if you would like to proceed with another company I maintain a good work code things can’t happen at the snap of a finger I can only communicate with you what I know and what is going on to move forward with your project"

Colorado Outdoor Services was fantastic. They worked with us to come up with a project design that was within our budget to address erosion on a steep slope and to regrade the front yard. Good communication, and they showed up when they said they would. Worked hard until job was completed. Finished design looks awesome. Thank you!!

Pros: 1. The path itself was excellent. After a heavy rain, the water did not pool. 2. He is very nice and approachable 3. Slightly less expensive than competitors that I priced out Cons: Communication was spotty. Work site not cleaned up, in particular a large wooden board - repeated text messages to have him come back have been ignored. Drainage from house gutter was not put under path but although this was not discussed to be fair, I had no idea this was a standard thing to do. After heavy rain, some of the grout material came washed out. Despite saying he would come back to fix, he never did.

Colorado Outdoor Services was fantastic! Cesar replied promptly to every e-mail, visited my location quickly, gave a fair quote and did the work on time and on budget. His attention to quality was amazing, and his work was meticulous. He selected premium trees and plants and worked with me on plant placement. He had good ideas and helpful suggestions. Will absolutely use him again. His work was far better than the "famous" landscapers I have used in the past.

After having difficulties with the company I originally contracted for a larger scope of work, Cesar and his team were able to quickly quote and schedule the landscaping work that needed to be done in the few weeks that remained before snow was going to hit. His communication was great, and he made sure to leave our property in better condition then when he arrived.
