Do not hire this guy. Shane was responsive at first and very personable but then forgot about our first meeting so we rescheduled. The eventual meeting went well and he assured us he knew how to install the system so we booked him to install the closet system we ordered. He worked on the small closet for 3 days. There were lots of issues with his install, things that someone with experience would know. I have been in the construction world for 25 years and have seen a lot of installs over the years. I am not sure he has much experience in trim carpentry and we should have asked for references and photos of work. He will not come back to finish the install so we have to hire someone else to do the work. I have sent 4 texts, a voicemail, and an email to try to get him to come back and he will not even respond. Not professional at all. I even asked if there was a reason why he cannot finish, like needing a missing part or something, with no response. He was priced reasonably (less than our usual carpenter) and now we know why. We were planning to have him install 4 more closets this year and that wasn't motivation enough to finish this job.
