Exterior painting was done on two different occasions. Work was completed satisfactorily after the business owner returned to finish a small door entry to our crawl space that the contracted crew had not completed.

Difficult to communicate with painters. Failed to reinstall some gutter pipes with appropriate fasteners/screws. Told they were sorry I was not happy but did not fix the problem.

I have no idea how they got an A. Just walk away. These are NOT professional painters. Don’t let them in your home. I will never use them again, and would not recommend them to anyone. If you do use them, make sure you are home so you can supervise them and good luck.

From our perspective I remember our crew being scheduled on a specific day and we were running about half a day behind due to some weather delays in the week before. You were very upset about us not being able to be there first thing in the morning and gave an earful over the phone but finally let us perform the work. We did a walk through inspection and your husband gave us approval of the work back in May and I thought it looked great. If you weren't happy with any part of it then, I'm really sorry. We would have liked to know so we could have done something about it. Many of our customers have experienced the lengths we go for a satisfied customer. t was an experience I would not wish for you. Painters did not show up at all when they said they would. Then they would show up on days they didn't forewarn me. I got an email one day saying after their meeting they may be able to come that day. Then did not hear from them for days. Very expensive especially for the quality and service given. A job supposed to take just a few days took over three weeks. The equivalent of two small rooms were painted, and a few cabinets-not many! Having a small living space, I was forced to live in very confined spaces because I was told first thing to push all my furniture to the center of the two small rooms. I had to step over things or squeeze between them. My cupboards had all been emptied with contents boxed and stored wherever I could find places for them around my home. I couldn't have people or family over for all that time. It was very inconvenient and difficult to prepare food in the kitchen. My cabinet doors were taken the first day. I never saw them again until the last day. So their contents were not easily accessible for even simple food prep. *Tools were placed on a very expensive piece of furniture and on the dining room table even after I noted this to the owner and left a note for the painters. In fact, it was done again on the same day I removed a sharp object and placed on the floor with the note. I came home and it was on the dining room table. *I have paint drips on the floor throughout the rooms including on top of my Refrigerator. *Painted hinges on my kitchen cupboards half painted so old color very clearly uncovered. Many Hinge Screws stripped as in the person is not skilled with a driver. The shock was that these were left like that on the last day when they finished. I should not have had to point out the very obvious if I had hired very skilled painters, even mediocre painters like myself. *Many places on cupboards and doors where small amount of original color not covered. *The owner accused me of being dishonest when I sent photos of the damage to my furniture. I also included dated before photos that showed no such damage. I did not want the painters back in my home.

We definitely reexamined our processes after your job and figured out where we went wrong. We are a living, breathing organization and sometimes we fall short. We offered to fix those mistakes and hire cleaners but you were pretty adamant about not allowing us to come back. We do make mistakes every now and then and fortunately many of our wonderful customers are understanding and willing to allow us to leave them 100% satisfied. I sincerely wish we were given that opportunity here and we are still willing. These guys are not cheap, but they did a great job. All the patching turned out great, they worked quickly and efficiently, and they cleaned up well afterwards. Even where the original color was super dark, none of the old paint shows through anywhere, all the edges are good, they removed what they could to get behind stuff like outlet covers and hanging mirrors. I am very happy with the results. When I saw the original estimate for the whole house, I balked a little at the cost, and they helped me make some choices to save some money by not painting some parts that didn't really need it. At the end, one thing that I had expected to be painted had not been painted. But they had sent me a detailed list of exactly what they were planning to do, and they had done exactly what they said they would - it was my mistake not to notice the discrepancy between what I expected and what they planned to do. Fortunately they were able to squeeze in some time the following week for a couple of guys to come back and finish the last detail that I wanted, even though it was my fault it had been omitted.

The kitchen was painted in one day. The cabinets are in the process of getting finished. They look good so far. I would use them again.

He started early, stayed late and worked quickly to get almost all of it done in one day; he had to come back for two hours the next day. He is pleasant and nice to work with. My dog chewed some of his rollers, and when we wanted to pay for them he told us not necessary because he knows and loves dogs.

Torlando's crew was on time each day and worked the entire day until late in the day. They did a fantastic job. They pressure washed the entire house, caulked as needed and painted the siding and all trim in about 3 and a half days. Each day they cleaned up and disposed of all trash. They were friendly, polite and professional. When the job was finished Torlando personally came out to the house and inspected the work with me to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job. If you are looking to have your house painted I highly recommend Color Theory LLC.
