My experience with Colossus HVAC was one of the most positive service experiences from start to finish I have ever encountered as a homeowner. Learning that my entire heating system needed to be replaced was a scary prospect but from the first phone call the office staff was comforting and my first meeting with James, made me feel at ease. James’ professionalism and attention to every detail especially the financing challenges I knew I would be facing was tremendous and so much better than other companies I had investigated. They treated me with respect and care and followed through by answering questions via phone and email throughout the whole process. When the team arrived to put in my new system continued the impeccable professionalism. Their patience and knowledge were so impressive, Nicholas explained everything during the visit. They worked so hard for hours in my tiny basement and were continuously pleasant and helpful. After over 8 hours of work, Nicholas explained the entire system to me with a smile and answered every question with the expertise he has accumulated during his work in the industry. When the team left every question I had was answered and every piece of my home where they had worked was clear and clean. I can't say enough about this team and would recommend them to everyone.

We had problem with our central AC whereby water was overflowing from the main cooling unit in huge quantity. I called on a 'reputed' HVAC company and their representative came and within 5 minutes came to the conclusion that my AC unit (9 years old) was faulty and the whole unit needs to be replaced. They quoted me $5K. <br /> I thought of taking a second opinion and there's when i found about Colossus HVAC. I called them and got an appointment the same day. Mr. Nicholas Komninakis came in on time, he was very polite,  a thorough professional and is an expert in his line of work. He felt my AC unit and straight away told that it was a problem with the pump which drains out the water from the coil. He replaced the pump, cleaned all the connecting pipes and my unit is good as new. <br /> He didn't try to sell us anything, explained us the problem and fixed it professionally. I would highly recommend using the services of Colossus.

Smoothly. There was a small water leak from condensation in the first day. That was seen to immediately.

James and Nick were terrific!  I called them on a Friday because I needed an a/c unit removed and they came the very next day!  They has to endure miserable staten island traffic and I was very appreciative.  They were very honest and professional and got the job done quickly and did not complain about carrying down the unit down my long, scary staircase!  They even gave me good, practical advice on how to deal with my no so pleasant nosy neighbor :)  Would absolutely hire them again!

Absolutely excellent and prompt service through and through! I called on a scorching hot August Sunday when the AC in my salon completely shut down. Their responsiveness and eagerness to trouble shoot over the phone immediately set them apart from the other companies I contacted and I continued to receive that kind of customer service and professionalism all the way to the end.
