Columbia House Construction

This was a complete gut renovation of a bathroom at my beach house along with a partial remodel of our kitchen which involved taking down a wall. They did a great job, were reasonably prices for the job and were able to execute my vision. I plan to use them again and would highly recommend.

Now, I'm writing this review several weeks AHEAD of schedule! Columbia House Construction was a pleasure to work with and I can't wait to work with the team again. The team was very responsive, receptive, and offered great ideas throughout the process. Dan recommended a few upgrades like under cabinet lighting, solid core doors, and recommended particular grout options. His ideas were brilliant and the team executed them flawlessly. There was not a single recommendation that we went with that we didn't like. Mike made great design points on where to locate the dishwasher, and adapted wonderfully when we decided to change the location of our sink. Honestly, we can't recommend these guys enough. You should hire them.

Columbia Construction did a beautiful job with our bungalow kitchen remodel.  They met with us, were receptive to our input and developed a plan that was both beautiful and functional.  The many challenges of renovating an older home (circa 1920) were met with patience and creativity.   <br /> We have since called upon MIke for additional work.  He is always responsive and fair. <br />

Dan Gates was fabulous to work with. We own a vacation home in Narragansett and we are always hesitant to have work done on the home because we can't be there to supervise the work. Dan was an excellent communicator and a very methodical worker which made it easier for us to handle the project remotely. His communication style included a description of the process prior to starting the work and photo's at the end of the project to assure it was done according to plan. He truly cares about the outcome of the project. He will be our "go to" guy for all future projects.

We just can’t say enough about our lovely new bathroom! Working with Columbia House Construction was such a pleasure. They really took the time to listen carefully to our ideas, and kept us involved and informed through the whole process. The guys were so professional and friendly and we felt very comfortable having them in our home – they were incredibly tidy, efficient, and unobtrusive. Their craftsmanship is excellent – from the framing to the tile-work, everything was expertly conceived and executed. My favorite features…the beautiful new double <br /> window looking out on our field, his and hers sinks on our custom vanity, and the subway tile shower complete with a tiled niche for holding our toiletries…so luxurious!
