Colvin's Concrete Creation

Had me pay a deposit, had concrete trucks come out and pour in over °100. Same day as pour had me call and pay off his account with concrete company. Asked me to pay remaining balance same day. Didn't cut control joints until 9 days after he was paid in full. Concrete cracked everywhere. Lesson learned about paying a dime until job is done. Cliff the owner came up with every excuse in the book to why the concrete cracked, the answere is he didn't do control joints until after it cracked where it wanted to. Concrete has spalling everywhere, 10+ spots, he tried to repair one rough spot and made it worse. Please be very cautious. I have photos and all the texts to back everything I claim.

I called Mr. Colvin for an estimate.  He arrived exactly the time he said he would.  His bid was hundreds of dollars under the nearest bid.  He brought his crew in promptly and worked very efficiently.  His work was professional and courteous.  I am very pleased with his work.  He will get more work from me in the near future.  Both of my neighbors were so impressed that they are hiring him for work they need done. <br />

He was professional, on time, and his workmanship was excellent. Finished product was excellent.

<p> </p> <p>Concrete was too thick when poured.  They used a dull blade when cutting ridges in concrete for water run-off.  Caused concrete to break off.  They tried to repair it really, really looks bad. Concrete is two toned.  Had to get them to come back due to holes inside of concrete steps need to be filled in.  This was caused by concrete not being thin enough when poured.  It was suppose to take two days; it took a week.  They broke the faucet off of our pump house and we do not know how.  They paid the repair, but did not offer any explanation.  They spattered concrete all over the side of my house and told me they could get it off.  They could not....I could go on...just a mess.</p> <p> </p>
