Wish I could give him negative stars. Came out immediately Saturday on coldest evening we had. Told me pipes to boiler frozen but came without anything to unthaw them. Originally said pipes were frozen and air locked. Then said pump to boiler burnt out due to frozen pipes. Replaced pump on Monday. Told me it was $509 and I paid it. He left without unthawing pipes but said system would work once it was unthawed. So he never even completed that work. Have not had heat. The next day inside radiator burst due to the cold. He came out and tried to blame me (I am disabled older woman) for using a wrench to try to open radiator or knocking something into it (radiator blew out next to corner). I told him what size radiator. He came out without one and had to measure and go get parts. Next day he came out with someone and took out radiator. Found back door wide open at night and other nights after he left. Next day another radiator burst. Said he had one but had put it into his house that day. So guess what, he had to go get parts again. Getting parts means he leaves and doesn't come back BTW. Next day I go outside and find that my wooden hatch to crawl space has not been replaced. Next day he came out and tells me that the pipes under house have burst. Story keeps going. Basically he took all the copper pipes from my house and left me with a few pieces of cobbled up Pex that don't even attach to anything. I have had no heat since 1/26 and no water for the past 5 days since they are not attached to anything. Now he says he plans to put a lien on my house since I have not paid him. He was paid for initial service, which was not ever even completed. He has never even given me a bill or receipt. RUN from this one!!!!!

Hired Tom to install a DIY mini split from lowes in a seasonal lake cottage. He was a couple hours late the first day. Got it about halfway installed and said he had to some back the following day with a helper to finish. Texted the following day saying he couldn’t make it. After some back and forth he said he’d be there early. Showed up at 11:30. After installing everything, he realized the outdoor unit did not work properly and seemed to be a manufacturer defect. During the time he was trying to wire it, he disconnected and took apart an outdoor light and receptacle. When he left that evening, he said he restored the light and receptacle to its original condition. I learned the following day that he did not and the light didn’t work at all. I ordered a new unit and he came back to install. He came the day he said he was going to and brought a helper. I was not there when he finished but he assured me that the light had been completely fixed and that the unit worked properly. I got to the lake house two days later to find the light still didn’t work, the receptacle was still apart and he left the old unit sitting outside in the snow partially taken apart, meaning I had no way of returning it. The screws were gone and a piece seemed to be missing. When I asked him about the light and plug, he responded with “if you can’t put a cover back on an outlet, you’ve got a problem”. So after two visits, I have a mini split that’s been installed and works, but with sloppy and exposed wiring running across my patio and deck, a unit that I can’t return because he lost pieces to it and a light and outdoor plug that don’t work. And a promise that he will “come back when the snows gone to finish” even though he promised me it was all done before I paid him.

He came in inspected the area, made suggestions on hot water heater replacements. Left to get the replacement, returned quickly, and installed unit with additional upgrades, plus offered and completed additional work to reduce the chance of having flooding problems damage my heater in the future! Great guy! He’s on my “go to guy” for any future issues in my 1850 home!

I needed ductwork and everything put in my house because I previously had a Boiler. It was a big job! I was impressed with how quickly he got it done. He left everything clean after he was done also. No complaints here!
