After making an appointment at Home Depot for an estimation on a new furnace and AC a representative came to my house and showed me different furnace and AC options to choose from the Train models they were selling. When the installers came they installed a damaged condenser pad and I made them replace it. They took compost from my compost pile to try to level the condenser pad and it has settled now and is not level. They routed the 3" intake and exhaust white PVC pipes where I hit my head on them. The pipes could have been routed differently, with some thought and a little effort, to avoid that hazard. Then the coolant leaked out of the copper tubing at the condenser the first week it was in service and I had to wait until Monday for a service call for repairs. In the mean time the agent I spoke with was trouble shooting over the phone and making up a story as to what "my" problem might be and I would have to pay for a service call because it was Sunday. Next a small fan motor was making a horrible noise and had to be replaced twice before the noise level was improved. I say improved because it still is noisy and there is a whistling sound too. I suppose that may be why they call it a "Train". Because of poor quality instillation they had to come back and seal the metal duct work around the furnace that leaked air. They also came back to put foam around the PVC conducts where they exit the house because outside air was came through the space around the pipes. It has been a NIGHTMARE dealing with Comfort Solutions, never again! FYI make sure the installers ask if they can use your bathroom. One of the guys used the bathroom to defecate and didn't turn on the fan and "didn't wash his hands". How do I know? The sink was dry and the fan was not on when I checked after I saw him exit the bathroom. Not to be redundant but "NEVER AGAIN"

install was smooth. they came to install my new gas log set 5 days after my initial consultation. my installer Paul was very professional thoroughly explained how to use my new fire set and the remote. he had the thing installed quickly and hauled away my old log set and all the trash. would hire them again no problem.

The job took two days, but it was a big job. They had to uninstall the furnace, move it back 10 inches to be able to install the coil for the a/c unit. While at the same time pulling and replacing the old duct work with new insulated duct and redesigned the system for better airflow.  The installers were on time, professional. Worked quickly, cleaned up their mess. I would used them again. My installation was expensive, but more do to what I had done and going with the higher end Train A/C unit. <br />

I spoke with Bill in the Ogden office when arranging my service appointment.  Price was important to me and Bill quoted me $89 for the service call.  The technician arrived on time. On my carpet he spread a very dirty cloth on which to lay the components of the gas log.  I told him I would prefer to use my new clean tarp.  In five minutes he diagnosed the issue as a clogged pilot tube and five minutes later he had it cleared it and re-assembled.  The whole process was literally a 10-minute job. The technician was in and out in 20 minutes total.  In addition to the $89 service call charge, I was billed $40 for clearing of the <br /> pilot tube and an additional $5 miscellaneous material fee.  I told the technician I thought the $40 unreasonable.  He dismissed my comment.  I ask about the Angie's list discount.  He said he knew nothing about it.  <br /> The next day I called Bill.  I told him I thought it unreasonable to charge more than the $89 for 20-minute service call.  I told him that his initial quote was misleading.  Nothing was mentioned about all the additional fees.  I ask for the $10 Angie's list discount. He said I should have received it and that he would make sure I received it when my payment was processed.  He did not disagree or agree with any of my other complaints or billing concerns but promised he would look over the charges before they were processed.  My credit card was subsequently charged as originally billed. No Angie?s List discount was allowed. <br /> 3 months later I still have not received the $10 Angie's List discount nor was any other adjustment may to the charges as billed.  The work done was good and professional.  So as long as you don't care about excessive charges, go ahead and use their services.  <br /> BTW, I have used Sears to service my dishwasher and my water softener.  If no parts are required Sears charges a flat $65 fee.  Each of these service calls was for more than 45 minutes.  I probably should have called Sears to service my Gas Log. <br /> <br /> <br />

Company was recommended by another company for this specific problem. Service person was efficient, courteous, businesslike and very competent within the time frame of an hour. We are pleased with this service and would use them again. <br />

The repair went OK. It is their billing I take issue with. $600 seems exorbitant to me for a circuit board replacement went I know the part can be had for $200 or less. We asked for an itemized bill and they refused to provide one. Instead we got a bunch of bovine scat (BS) about blue books and warranty. I wish my wife had called their bluff and had them take the board out. I will not deal with a business that just arbitrarily bills what they think they can get away with. <br />

They did a very good job. The ducts in our house had not been cleaned since who-knows-when. They cleaned the system fanatically and added an anti-allergen coating. Since then, our ducts have smelled better, my allergies have been less severe, and overall the house has felt better. <br />

They are very good. We were having problems with the furnace turning off. They spend time diagnosing them problem and fixing it.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and even worked the numbers to get a great deal, including a furnace check-up in the fall. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service.

I didn't get the cheapest air conditioner in the market but it is a good system for the price. I would give them an A rating and I will use them again in the future.

The furnace still works excellently! I’m a single woman, and it seems like businesses like to take advantage of single women, but not Comfort Solutions. They were there for me every step of the way. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed working with them! Their prices are competitive, and they provide a really good service.

They installed a new unit, and we have a service contract with them for annual maintenance. There was some trouble during the installation. It seemed that the crew was constantly on their cell phones. The job was supposed to take one day, but it took two. Also, they broke our emergency shut off valve. However, their service since then has been good. We haven’t had any negative issues since that time.
