Used this company to install new Furnace and heat pump 09/21. Since then they have been out to do repairs at least 4 times. This year, just prior to Thanksgiving they came out due to furnace not kicking on again. Diagnosed as a failed heat exchanger. Paid the service fee. I followed up the week after thanksgiving to find that the part on a 2 year old furnace was no longer supported. I have had weekly, sometimes biweekly calls initiated by myself to try and get more information on a timeline for service. Asked about furnace replacement and told not an option. Just prior to Christmas, I called directly to Amana and was told that my contract had a 99 year furnace replacement. Followed back up with Comfort Express and was told my part was already shipped and would be here the 28th, received call the 28th that a conversion unit was shipped, but not the part. Now continue to have no timeline for part 01-03-2024. Calling another company.

8 attempts to fix my furnace without success ,now Comfort Express will not answer my phone call, voicemail or text messages. My wife and I paid a lot of money for what I thought was a top of the line system now we have been without heat off and on for the last month. I'm not sure what to do next. Can anyone help me with my problem?

I stepped up on my system and have a bigger better Furnace and moved to a Heat Pump. They were timely in showing up and did a good job. Cleaned up well. Maybe I missed it, but I was at home all day and never saw them in the house wandering around or goofing off. They were all business. I did have some technical questions in which the installer could not answer, but he said there would be a follow up call and I will have someone come over for a follow up and will have more information on the questions I have which is fine. I would not always expect an installer to be a technical support person as well. Even though my house is being updated where the carpet does not matter if you get it dirty, they still put on shoe covers when walking on the carpet. Excellent job.

Because it was a Sunday, their offices were actually closed, but an answering service took our information and a Tech contacted us quickly. My husband explained what was going on. The Tech said he would be happy to come out, but given the description of what was going on, did not have the parts necessary to work on furnace in his truck. He suggested we have someone come out the following day. This made sense and we appreciated his candor. This morning, we received a call before 8 a.m. They said we would have a Tech at the house between 12 & 2. We gave them a cell # and we both went off to work. At 10:30 I received a call from Chad. He was already at the house. I left work and met him at the house. Chad turn the furnace back on from the thermostat before going to the basement. The blower started working again. He tested for carbon dioxide. He looked over the unit and gave me his assessment. I felt it was an honest assessment of the situation. The furnace is currently working, but we have decisions to make as to whether to begin repairs, or if it's time for full replacement. We were charged the normal charge for coming out. Chad was very professional and courteous. I was comfortable with this service and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Comfort Express came same day to diagnose, and they moved things around in their schedule to be able to install new unit the next day. They also provided space heaters to keep the house livable while furnace was not working. Very professional, courteous, and clean. Would give A++ if possible.

Comfort Xpress reps were all punctual, professional, and pleasant from start to finish. The entire process was actually quite stress-free for us, and all their work was very well done. All work areas were left clean when they were finished. We obtained 4 bids: one bid was considerably lower, one was considerably higher, and the middle two were exactly the same. Comfort Xpress was one of the bids in the middle. We would not hesitate to do business with them again.

He sprayed some stuff around my plants around the air conditioner, beautiful flowers. He didn't say he was going to spray around them. I asked him to see what is wrong with my air conditioner. He said I needed an capacitor. I said a capacitor. He said it would be $200 to put it in. I said, $200 and $85 to put it in. He said, yes. I asked what the capacitor looked like, I might can put that in. He brought out an little can, and I said, no I ain't going to let you put that in. I ordered the same part for $10 from another provider and fixed my air conditioner. The price was ridiculous. I am paying you, and you wouldn't tell me what it cost. I would have paid him $300 and a $10 can. My air conditioner hose in my room, and it was always flooding. I was going to get a brand new air conditioner for $6000. They didn't look at it. That was when he came out and checked it. He didn't apply the $80 for what you get. If I pay all that money, I might as well get a new air conditioner. I watched how he did it, and I did it myself. Its like a battery for your car. I never would use him again, and I know why. He ripped me off. Every time they send someone out they be weighing about five hundred pounds, sweating like a dog. He was huge. He wasn't friendly, or professional. We kicked him out. He killed a couple plants that cost a lot of money. I didn't realize he sprayed them, until they were dying. I asked why are they dying like that for. He sprayed the lawn.

For the most part it went good. I was happy with the install. They had an issue with the programmable thermostat so they had to order a new board. They put a temporary one on and when they replaced the board it worked. They took care of it and it all worked out well.

We just purchased this house this past summer.  Even though we have had the HVAC system worked on, nobody took notice of the condition of the Aprilaire.  When my husband turned it on, water ran out of it.  It wasn't an immediate concern so we put it off until nobody could stand the dryness in the house.  I opened the unit up to see if there was a serial number and discovered that most of it appeared to be missing.  I called several places but was impressed with the response of this company.  They came and checked it out. While the one part was on the truck, when the gentleman opened it up he said we had more parts than a filter missing and the unit had cracks in the housing.  The missing part was not normally needed so it had to be ordered.   <br /> The company called me to tell me they had ordered the part (never had anybody tell me that before).  When part came in they called me again to schedule service.  The day before they called to confirm the appointment.  The day of the repair they again called to let me know the repair person would be there in 1/2 an hour and asked if that would be alright. <br /> Instead of replacing the whole unit for $900 I agreed to use tape on the housing.  He assured me the cracks were just cosmetic.  I agreed to that since it sits unnoticed in the basement anyway. <br /> I was impressed by the communication and the price. <br />   <br /> <br /> <br />
