Quality work on the areas they serviced, but they didn?t mow half of the backyard. After reaching out, I was told it may cost extra?even though they had already quoted me after seeing the property. They also mentioned prices might go up in the future, which felt misleading. Regarding pricing, there wasn't full transparency, and they leave room for hidden fees/upcharges.

After they came out the first time, I had to call them back twice to finish the job. Probably won't hire them again.

Amazing, super-fast response, were able to schedule the service incredibly quickly, came out when they said they would, reasonable price consistent with their estimate. They just finished so I can't confirm everything was done right until the walkway goes in but they certainly seemed to know what they were doing. The best irrigation company I have ever worked with by far.

Connor was very professional and knew what he was doing. He gave his opinion as to head options with reasons why they would work for the area that we wanted covered. Was done in approx 2 hours. We were very impressed. Will definitely have them maintain the system when needed. Asked for a quote for lawn cutting.

I found them on Angie's List. They come every Monday. I have a yearly contract with them. They take care of the lawn throughout the entire season. The cost is $205 a month. They do my irrigation and they do everything. I trust their work. I having been using them since I moved in to the house in 2014. They are dependable. If there is an issue, they rectify it immediately. It is very personal. The guys name is Mike. It is a very personal relationship with their clients. Mike is the owner of the business.

Showed up on time and worked quickly. Very happy with the result - exactly what I wanted.

Michael and his team are phenomenal. I really can't give enough praise to this company. I will use them for all my lawn care needs in the future.  <br> <br>They finished the job - hauling gravel from a carport, disposing of it, extending an existing irrigation system to that area and installing sod - in a single day, and they did an excellent job. When they encountered an issue with some concrete they found in the area, they let me know immediately and talked me through all the possible solutions and helped me find the best, most affordable fix. The lawn looks great.  <br> <br>At this point I was impressed, but what really struck me was how they followed up on the job afterwards. Scott, who installed the irrigation system, has been stopping by the house to check the moisture levels of the sod on a weekly basis and adjust the sprinklers as needed. Then a couple weeks after the sod installation I had a fence installed in the area, and the fencing crew trampled all over a section of the new sod, turning it into a muddy mess, despite my warnings. I was so upset, and Scott and Michael came to the rescue. They answered my frantic emails immediately, and right away Scott checked to make sure the irrigation system wasn't damaged. Now he's bringing his team by the house to fix the sod free of charge.  <br> <br>Between the quality of work done. the responsiveness, the follow-ups, and the EXCELLENT customer care, I am decidedly a lifetime Commonwealth Landcare customer. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>

Michael and team have done a number of things for us from ongoing lawn care (fertilizing/weed management), mulching, yard cleaning and mowing. We started with Commonwealth last year when my lawn was in rough shape. Weeds were beginning to take over and what grass was left was not doing well. I had tried to manage this myself but I was badly losing the battle We were signed up for the annual plan where the team comes and sprays the lawn with exactly what is needed for the time of year and within 4 months the lawn was showing significant improvement, now almost a year later we have one of the best looking lawns on the block. Additionally we have hired the company to do yard cleaning, mulching and tree trimming all of which were done promptly and we were very pleased with the results. There is clearly a reason these guys are at the top of Angie's List for the RVA area.

I first engaged Commonwealth Landcare to install a line of trees as a barrier between my home and our neighbors last fall.  The work was completed at a reasonable price on the date we agreed and they performed quality work. <br /> As a satisfied customer I hired them again this spring for some additional trees in another section of our yard.  Unfortunately, I was ambiguous when communicating the species I wanted when requesting the work and didn't realize it until after they were installed.  Commonwealth Landcare worked with me to correct this and ensure my satisfaction. <br /> How a company handles this type of situation is a true differentiator.  The owner demonstrated customer care as a priority without question which clearly sets them apart from other companies I've hired.  If you want to ensure that you'll get what you pay for and the job is done to your satisfaction then I highly recommend them. <br />

We have a corner yard and a huge area to clean up leaves. They came in and quickly raked all our leaves and trimmed our bushes carried away all our trimmings. It was a big help. <br />

<p>This was a big deal purchase and they did an okay job. It seems to me I called them about a week after they came because I did not see any grass coming up. I called them out to see if they had actually planted some grass. They said they had and later on the grass did come up. We were not here when they came, but when we got back the guy came and they were responsive. </p>
