Joe was very prompt and on time. He looked at the outside leak and knew exactly what needed fixed. Within 2 hours he had everything fixed and the water problem was resolved. I highly recommend contacting him for any of your plumbing problems.

Joe, came to my home to because I had no water. We had agreed upon 8:00 am he text and said he would be there by 7:30. When he arrived I showed him the garage where the house equipment was located. The first thing he noticed was that the water tank switch was installed incorrectly (the switch has been there for 27 years) I had the home built. Then he notice something not up to code. Showed him the well pump and he assess the pump. Joe then tells me my pump failed and would need to be replaced. The price would be 3,500 for the pump and 800.00 to replace the electrical components inside the well. I kindly paid him the $60.00 service fee and said good bye. The next company came at 10:00 am and replaced my pump in about 40 minutes and saved me over $2,000.00! This company stated my wiring was good and everything was fine inside the garage. Folks do your research- if something does not seem right it?s NOT! He left my breaker switch off and turned my range off breaker off!

Joe Ginger is the real deal. I live out in Cumberland on a well, and both my water compressor and well pump went bad. Commonwealth Plumbing was out to investigate the issue quickly yesterday. Joe estimated that he'd need to replace both the pump and compressor at significant expense (to me, anyway), and he came back this morning prepared to do that. After getting further into his investigation, though, Joe let me know that he could save both elements. His honesty saved me 75% of the original quote. Joe could have gone through with the job as he'd quoted it, which I accepted, but he was honest and gave up revenue in the interest of sleeping well at night. Joe was courteous, punctual, honest, and just generally a great guy. When you don't know much about something like plumbing and have to rely on a contractor, Commonwealth is the kind of company you want in your corner.

Commonwealth Plumbing is a small local operation. The plumber came quickly to assess my farm well pump problem and was ready to tackle the job. He received a call from a customer who had no water in the house with children. The plumber asked if he could take care of that job first as a genuine concern. My well pump is just for irrigation which is not critical compared to a family without water. The plumber headed off , took care of the family and returned first thing the next morning and repaired my system. Excellent work, reasonable price, as well as compassionate.

Joe is a nice guy, and if my regular plumber went out of business, he would be my plumber. However, my regular plumber was out because of a COVID scare, and Commonwealth came and fixed it. I highly recommend him. Plus he is nice, and even though he is out in Mineral, he covers the Richmond Metro area. By the way, my name is a nom de plume on this review, but I am so real it hurts.

Prompt, cost competitive and provided a veterans discount. They came out assessed the issue as being and old small well pump and made a recommendation. I did some research and found their price to be below most others. They came and installed the day after I called them and all is good now. Very good company.

While the initial service was conducted within 24 hours, the employees showed up an hour earlier than scheduled - which was a problem since I have pasture animals I have to round up prior to workers arriving. No notice was provided for a change of time. The workers were friendly, but seemed ill prepared with their tools and equipment (i.e. using pliers on hex head bolts, which could have rounded them). No documentation was prepared for this work service; I had to request a bill of service be drafted (and even then it was missing critical data). I even had to provide the pen. The workers billed me a cost on site that was $200 higher than what their employer quoted me. They actually just had no idea of the cost and offered me a guess. They called their employer, and they confirmed my quoted price. I found that pretty unprofessional to not have the cost, bill, or any documentation with them. I also paid for a water test, which was supposed to be returned within 5 days. It's now over 30 days, and the employer not only has failed to provide updates on it as he stated he would (yes, I understand COVID delays), but has failed to return my phone calls, texts, and will not pick up the phone. Quite frankly, the lack of communication - particularly when a paid service has not yet been completed - is embarrassing for an organization. Would not recommend.
