Complete Heat Inc
About us
Established in 1995, Complete Heat, Inc. is a locally owned service company providing quality, name brand products, installed and serviced by qualified, trained and certified technicians. The company started at a small shop and showroom at 286 Central Avenue in Lancaster. Because of its superior quality and local roots, the Carrier brand quickly became the companies flagship brand. Working within the rigorous quality and integrity guidelines paid off when Complete Heat became a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer in 2003. Complete Heat has maintained that coveted status, achieved by fewer than 5% of heating and air conditioning contractors nationwide, ever since.

"Thank you for taking time to comment on our work. I'm sorry that you think the "other charge", which is called a trip charge, is unnecessary. With the high price of gas, vehicle maintenance and insurance, just to name a few items, it is expensive just to get a technician to your door. We feel that 39.95 is very fair. Once there, we still have to pay the technician for work performed. We keep him trained, insured and warranty his work, whether he replaces a part or makes adjustments to your existing parts. Our technicians respond to questions placed to them by our customers. If he spent time explaining our billing policies it is probably because your questions were about that. I'm sorry you were disappointed by your experience. As you can tell by the vast majority of comments, this is an unusual event."
"In Jan 2008 we responded to this client's request for service on his direct vent natural gas fireplace. Our dedicated fireplace service technician, with over 10 years of fireplace experience, tried to acquire parts for the Renaud fireplace from the manufacturer or distributor, but was unable. We give our customers options, repair or replace, he decided to repair his 13 year old N.Gas fireplace. We installed a generic valve & safety pilot assembly that has been used on furnaces and fireplaces for over 50 years. Total cost for this service: $761.25 incl. tax. Standard service warranty: Parts: One Year / Labor: 30 days On Nov. 30th 2010 [ 35 months later ] was the next time we heard from the client, we returned to his house because his pilot light would not light the fireplace. The safety pilot assembly was faulty and needed to be replaced. He was annoyed that this problem occurred, we replaced the part for free, waived the service call and labor charge, At this time he asked us to install a blower unit into his fireplace for an additional $379.00. On Dec 15th 2011 [ 12 months later ] the client called with similar problems. The pilot assembly was faulty again, making the fireplace inoperable. We advised him that we could not do any more free service, and would recommend the replacement of his 1990 metal fireplace. We charged him $107.88 for this service call. In the following days, We offered the client a partial refund of his payments over the last three years, toward the price of a new replacement N.Gas fireplace, which totaled $469.00. In Feb 2012 he purchased a new fireplace from another contractor. After a lengthy meeting we still offered him $572.00 refund in good faith with an apology. One week later we received a Small Claims Court notice. In April 2012 a Judge will decide what’s fair."
