"When we originally bid this job, the customer expressed how unhappy they were with all other handymen they had hired. Job was to retexture walls that already had an orange peel texture and that was already painted, customer wanted to paint themselves to save on costs. We completed our job of sanding, cleaning and texturing walls with a knock-down texture. After texturing, walls should have been prepped for painting, customer skipped a vital step of cleaning walls prior to painting. When contacted about the paint peeling, we asked to come out and assess the problem and only received pictures that clearly show that paint is peeling in sheets due to improper preparation to wall. Customer refused to have us repair the issue and continued to request refund including cost of painting that they denied allowing us to have any part of due to financial constraints. We were asked to complete a 4 day job in under 2 days because customer couldn't have their house under construction for more than a day. All in all, we make every effort to find an amicable resolution to any dissatisfaction, however customer would not accept anything less than a full refund plus other expenses we were not liable for. We are deeply sorry for any headache caused, and hopefully this customer will be able to find someone that makes them happy."
