They did a super job and we were impressed with their people. Their office manager was terrific, their estimator was knowledgeable and honest, and the work crew was careful, reliable, and did a quality job. They cleaned up the site afterwards to where it was practically spotless. Overall an excellent experience for us.

PERFECT The Handyman Xpress Team is awesome. There is not a task they can’t handle. Hard working, honest, and very fair.

Work was well performed as far as I can tell. He arrived when promised and charged as advertised. Only problem was wheel tracks on lawn, admittedly hard to avoid after heavy rains recently.

They did a good job, but it took two men 6.5 hours to do the house and driveway. I had it done previously by one man in under 2 hours. They charged $520 for the job which is ridiculous. I have since received 6 quotes, all for under $130. Wish I had done that before hiring them but had used them in the past with no issues. Definitely will not use again unless I can get a flat rate up front for any future services.

Eric, through his receptionist, advised that since it was a fairly small job, an hourly rate of $135.00 for first hour and $35.00 per hour after that was agreed to. However, I did not realize that instead of working full days to complete the project, it took 4 days ( 3 hours one day, 4 hours another, etc) to complete. Therefore they charged $135.00 for the first hour each day for 4 days. If the guys had worked longer each day it would have been completed in less days; therefore less cost to me. Eric's office was contacted but Eric advised the pricing was correct.

Most significant was that they helped track down a musty odor I was experiencing in the kitchen. They determined the source of the problem for me and referred me to someone who could fix it. To give you an idea of price, I had 2 men for four hours. Fast, dependable and professional service. I would recommend them.

Job was delayed but once it got underway, it was completed as promised. We found Handyman Xpress to be very reputable and are very pleased with the work. The ceilings are beautiful! We did experience some difficulty getting in touch with Eric at times but for us it was ok because we were not in a urgent situation. We found that he would contact us when he became available so learned to be patient and wait for him. Since we are seasonal residents, it is important to us to have a company we can rely on to provide all sorts of services. We found Handyman Xpress to be this type of company and will hire again in the future for other needs.

We needed to have a tile floor in a bathroom that had stained grout (was put in during the 60's) and a bedroom that had stained carpet replaced with laminate flooring and shoe round included around the edge. This was especially hard in the bathroom where the walls are covered by tile, so the edging could not be nailed in the way they were in the bedroom. All looks great and is holding up well. Also, turned out the tiles that were popping up in the dining room had been put on using wall adhesive rather than the proper type of flooring adhesive needed. The guys were able to pop loose the tiles that needed to be replaced and grind off the old adhesive so they could be reused. I only had to get/use 4 new replacement tiles because they were successful in reusing every tile that was not broken before they arrived. They did a great job getting the grout to match and putting the 4 new tiles in an unobtrusive spot. Since these tiles had been put in during the 80's, we were not able to get matching tiles, so that really makes a big difference to us. Saved us a ton of money. I needed to separate a upper and lower level of a house to create a rental, and Handyman Xpress helped me find a simple, inexpensive way to make the current door work so that both halves of the house are private when the tenants choose, and they have access to both parts when the parties are in agreement. Love the convenience and flexibility. They also helped by cutting a ceiling tile to fit a closet ceiling that was missing it's ceiling. I had not scheduled that last part ahead of time, but they cheerfully added it to the to-do list and finished it quickly and it looks great.

Eric and his entire crew were wonderful! They care about the work they do and the people they do the work for. We are so happy with all of the repairs they did for us! We would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing home repairs.

Fine, despite "Murphy's" best attempt to cause havoc. The front door frame needed to be repaired as well when the threshold and new front door were installed because the spot for the lock was not secure. The guys made sure everything was safe and in good working order. The windows were special order because they had to be inserted into stonework. The company that made the windows did not make them the size specified on the order form. That meant it took longer to find a way to get them to fit into the walls, but the guys cheerfully worked out a way without us needing to wait for new windows to be produced. Our tenants have been very pleased with the improvements. We are also pleased that Handyman Xpress was able to get them installed before the new tenants needed to move in. Made the process much easier for all of us.

 Eric and his team followed the design we wanted exactly.  We requested the work on a Friday and it began the following week. The guys were pleasant and professional. Once the project was completed we were thrilled with the results.  <br>Beautiful deck that was beyond expectation.  Do not hesitate to call Eric - he is honest, helpful and pricing was reasonable and competitive.   Will call them again for any other projects in the future.

Excellent work on our mountain home. They provide the highest quality work and made sure everything was per code. Everything looks great, job was completed very quick and we will certainly call on them to do future work. Great communication including progress and final pictures too! <br />

Eric and his team did excellent quality work and exceeded expectations.  They were very professional, thorough, courteous and I would highly recommend their work.  They met or finished early on all their schedule/time estimates.  They always kept me up to date through email, phone, txt and pictures as my primary residence is out of town.  I would absolutely use them again. <br />

First, let me say that Eric's team not only did a great job, they probably saved me several thousand dollars. We just bought a house as rental property, and knew we'd need several major jobs done.  Eric gave us a better deal by doing them all at once. <br /> The old deck was falling apart and not to code, since it was just screwed to the house and not secured to the house framing.  Eric used new technology that meets code and allows the deck to be installed without tearing out the ceiling inside the house.  The new deck is strong enough to have gorillas jump on it and still be safe.  We went with composite boards to make the deck last longer and reduce maintenance. Now we don't lose rent on the lower unit while the deck is installed, and the upstairs tenants are safe on the deck. <br /> Water was draining down a hill right up to the house walls, so Handyman Xpress dug the trench, put in the French drain both above and to the side of the house to prevent water damage to the foundation, and replaced an old leaky downspout with a new one.  This area was not accessible by vehicle, so it had to be dug by hand in the cold, hard ground in January. <br /> There had been a leak behind the shower in the lower bathroom.  The entire wall, surrounding tile, and cast iron tub had to be removed down to the studs, as well as 2 sinks. Then  sheet rock, a new tub, new surround, new wall with water resistant drywall, replacement tiles for wall beside the tub, and paint were used to fix the tub/shower.  The previous owner(s) had used galvanized pipes and jerry-rigged techniques that resulted in leaks and probable future problems. Eric's crew arranged to have the plumbing issues resolved preemptively.  All the fixtures were updated and the bathroom was painted.  <br /> Additionally, there were several things we needed done that had not originally been on the list for Eric. We needed a broken window in the garage door replaced, and had them use plexiglass instead of ordinary glass. Looks great and is sturdier as well. <br /> There were 2 broken cabinets in the kitchen and a broken medicine cabinet in another bathroom that was replaced. The dropped ceiling over the upstairs shower was falling, and they repaired that as well. The crew also added a couple of bars, hooks, and towel racks in the bathroom.  The team was very willing to do these as well. <br /> Overall, everyone with Handyman Xpress was polite, friendly, courteous, patient, and professional. (Sounds like a Boy Scout troop, but it's true). <br /> <br /> <br />
