PJ, the owner, and his whole crew were nothing but professional. We had three other quotes for our huge project for a new covered patio area, landscaping, and an outdoor kitchen area but we chose Complete Solutions because they were within the price range we wanted and their communication was second to none. We received a text every single day during the project with progress made that day. PJ and his project manager were very responsive to any questions we had and were patient with us as we changed our minds a few times on what exactly we wanted. They finished the project two weeks ahead of schedule.

On my first inquiry I didn’t get a prompt response, but after having a home for 15 years and looking for various contractors this wasn’t exactly news. My second inquiry did receive a response with an apology and a day and time for an initial assessment. Wonder of wonders, someone showed up. Turns out he was what I think I remember is half owner of the company, Landry was the name if I remember correctly. Not a people kinda guy, more of a “let me measure everything and then I’ll deal with your inane questions” kind of guy. Waited for a quote for a week I think, sent an email asking about the quote and received an apology for the lateness and the quote. Wasn’t the cheapest I had received, wasn’t the most expensive. Hired. Their work was well beyond expectations. The job came in a little later than expected, about 3 days or so, but there are always unforeseen issues in a full kitchen remodel. Jackie, Carlos, and Jared were always responsive to all questions concerns and available with suggestions throughout the process. Any conflicts in scheduling of work to be done by their crew or subcontractors we were notified immediately, and I can’t express my appreciation for this enough. I highly recommend this company and plan to call them again on my next project.

I called pretty early in the morning on a Monday after some weekend water damage that occurred while we were out of town. Complete Interior Solutions was out Wednesday afternoon of the same week to take a look at the damage and provided me with a quote by the end of that week. They were out within a week and a half with a game plan and executed it without any issues.
Although a small job, they earned my future business by their responsiveness, tidiness on the job site (I?m a little bit of a neat freak) and the quality of finish/work. Will definitely not hesitate to call again!

I got various quotes. They showed up on time, very polite and knowledgeable.
They came back numerous times before work began to detail things with me. Everyone was knowledgeable and answered my questions and concerns. The work was beautiful and good quality. I finally found someone that does what they say they will do and trustworthy. This company is awesome, I would use them again

This is the second time I uised PHD for remodeling projects, the hall bath is dated and grouts are peeling, so I decided to update everything except the tub which is in great shape. Derek answered lots of questions during the designs and choice of materials, his team also make sure everthing is done correctly, keeping the work site clean and resolve all issues promptly.

Prestigious Home Designs (Derek McGill) has recently completed a major kitchen renovation, as well as all new cabinets for our master bath. Derek and his crew have far exceeded our wildest dreams and expectations. At our first meeting, Derek told us that he works on projects like they are his own home and the end results proves that 100%. His attention to detail and custom work is flawless! He and his crew were always clean, courteous and took care not to damage anything during their work.

This was a major kitchen reno where we striped everything down to the floors. We took out windows and Derek precisely matched brick, walls, molding and paint so no one would ever know what is old and what is new. We kept our hardwood floors because we loved them and they were in great shape but Derek repair the floor where one water leak had been and where the new cabinets where different from the old, stripped and restrained them and they are as beautiful as ever.

Derek was always open to listen to us and really took time with us to help us pick out products that would look right and hold up to every day wear and tear. Every time I walk into the kitchen I just pause and look at how beautiful the entire project it. Love it!!!

I?m already starting to work on ideas for our next project too! We seem to be rebuilding our home board by board and wouldn?t ever consider using anyone else other than Derek with Prestigious Homes.

Nancy & Mark Pacheco

We found Prestigious Home Designs Remodeling on Angie's list. We liked everything we read and the fact that most of Derek?s workers are long time employees. I was not comfortable with the idea of having random sub-contractors in our home.
We also liked that Derek helps with colors and material selections. Neither of us have an eye for this sort of thing.
Derek came out in February and we went over our wish list. He gave us some great ideas and even recommended against some items (e.g. not necessary to refinish/replace kitchen cabinets). Our wish list was bigger than our budget, so we started eliminating things and modifying others, with Derek's help. Several ice storms delayed us getting to Dallas to look at samples. But we finally got to his shop and then later met at a couple of stores to finalize selections. We liked everything he recommended. Our remodel started on April 2.
Estimated time to complete was 4 - 6 weeks. They sectioned off the house with plastic and we lived on one side while they worked on the other. It was challenging for us and the workers, but it was manageable. All of the employees were professional, polite, and respectful. I never felt unsafe when I was here alone. Carlos was our primary contact many days. He
is a very hard worker and kept us updated on what was happening next (along with Derek's texts or phone calls). Carlos is a jack of all trades. He also gave us recommendations on where to put towel bars, cabinet pulls, etc. (Husband ordered and replaced door handles, locks and cabinet pulls. We also ordered kitchen appliances and stored them until Derek installed them.)
Lights were added and some replaced with canned LED lights in living room and kitchen. Reading light is positioned perfectly above my reading chair. LED lights were installed under upper kitchen cabinets. They make an amazing difference. Ceiling fans were replaced.

The project actually took about 12 1/2 weeks (twice as long as we thought it would take) because:

After work started, we decided it would look better if all of the baseboards were replaced.

Then everything was looking so good, we decided to re-do the spare bath. (We could have made selections, but Derek volunteered to surprise us. We are delighted with the result.)

There were days they could not work because they couldn't set up their saws outside due to lots of rain. (It rained 22 days out

of 31 in May, and it was the rainiest May since 1941! (Bad luck for us ...).

Sometimes it was too humid to paint.

We found honey bees in a wall. Delayed about a week waiting on bee keeper to come out. Then Derek?s crew had to fix the wall and paint.

There was a manufacturing problem with the wood floor we selected and we had to re-order a different floor, which we like

The workers were very respectful regarding our cats. They never opened a door where 2 inside cats were secured. When they were driving in or out, they always looked for our outside cat to make sure he wouldn't get squished. That meant more to us than they realize. They were very respectful when they needed to come to "our side" of the house to use the restroom. (We told Derek in advance that we didn't mind if they needed to use it.)
I felt like Derek worked to keep cost down as we added the baseboards and the spare bath. Our punch list was purely
cosmetic and mostly paint related. Everything was completed to our satisfaction. Derek made final inspection on June 30 and we made our final payment.
A couple of weeks later, the glass door in the master shower slipped. Called Derek and the glass man came out within a few hours. Before he arrived, we showered in the spare bath and noticed a small leak around a bracket at the bottom of the glass. He repaired it too, even though we had not notified Derek.
We love everything. It?s like a totally new house. It looks modern. Derek looked at our home and intuitively knew what we would like. We went with every recommendation he made. The wood and tile floors are beautiful. The lowering of the kitchen bar makes the kitchen/breakfast area look much more open and inviting. The accent walls (living room, dining room and master bedroom) and all of the paint are perfect with everything else. The accent wall makes the fireplace much more visible. Previously, it sort of disappeared into the wall. The master shower looks and feels MUCH larger even thought it's the same size. The custom cabinets in both bathrooms are beautiful and well made. The spare bath looks much larger too. All of the work is top quality. We highly recommend this company.
I don't think I would ever want to do a remodel like this again, especially while living in the house, but if we did we would hire
Prestigious Home Designs Remodeling.

Derek, at Prestigious Home Designs, was prompt in returning my phone call and came out the same day to give us a quote. We had to break the project into two phases for insurance purposes and he was extremely accommodating. He was prompt to modify, fix or start over on any element of the project that did not meet either his or our standards without it costing us additional (unless we wanted an upgrade--not part of the original quote). He often caught things that we would never have seen. He could have easily slid it past, but that is not the standards that he expects and delivers. He also found ways to maximize our budget dollars, while giving us a better end product.
We have a small pet and he and his staff were very careful with his safety and security including not utilizing noxious chemicals without giving us prior warning so that we could secure him away from the house. They were very attentive to the security and care of our home, utilized a extra heavy duty dust barrier, and provided a deep home cleaning afterwards.
He built all of our cabinets in-house to our specifications including custom cabinet inserts and dovetail drawers. He has all of the craftsmen on staff and when he has to utilize an outside trade, he let us know while supervising every step of the way.
There were no hidden fees. Everything was straightforward and up front. He worked with us to stay within our budget. He offered his expertise but at the end of the day the project was completed to our specifications just as we had planned. He gave us our DREAM KITCHEN and created a butler pantry where we had none. In the end, he turned a near catastrophic water leak into our dream culinary get away. Thanks Derek! We are bragging about his work to all our neighbors. They all want his number now! We will definitely use him again with other projects including our next major project: the master bath.

I am extremely happy with our master bathroom remodel and with the service that we received. From start to finish, my husband and I felt taken care of (and we're generally not people that are easily impressed). I believe what sets Derek apart is a triple threat of carpentry expertise, design expertise, and great customer service. Here's a detailed look at my experience with Derek McGill and the Prestigious Home Designs crew:
I wanted a bathroom design that leaned more on the contemporary side and it was important for me to find someone that could emulate that while being a knowledge-expert in their craft. With that said, Derek and his team can do anything -- from traditional natural stone (very popular in a lot of North Texas homes) to more contemporary styles, like mine. After listening to my list of must-haves, Derek offered some additional ideas I hadn't considered and shared that he would be supplying a digital sketch of my new design along with the quote. Of all of the quotes that I received, Derek was the only contractor to provide a digital sketch -- very helpful in visualizing the final result.
When we received our initial quote, my husband and I were pleased to see that every aspect of the remodel was line-itemed out with an associated price next to it. The majority of the other quotes I received were a final number with no explanation as to how the price was derived. In some respects we were in a little over our heads so Derek offered to meet with us 1:1 to discuss each line-item and how we might bring the price down to meet our budgetary needs. This was a big selling point for us from a customer service standpoint because we felt like he was still committed to our overall-design with the solutions that he offered.
When work began, I was very impressed with his crew. I cannot tell you how many times someone has come to our house to do any amount of work and been careless. Not so with Prestigious Home Designs. Dropcloths were put down from our entrance to our master bathroom daily and the crew kept their workspace as well as the rest of our house clean. Not only that, but each gentleman arrived on time and was kind and respectful and always willing to answer any question that I had. Along the way, we had two unforeseen water issues stemming from a drainage issue outside as well as from our upstairs bathroom. Derek and his
team did a great job of diagnosing each issue and helping with the repairs and didn't just try to gloss things over with some crappy patch job. These guys have integrity and it's evident in their work.
The best part of the whole experience for me was picking out the tile, bathroom fixtures, and other finishes. Again, Derek has a great eye for design while offering practical advice from his many years of remodels. It was fun for us to bounce our ideas back and forth and we're so, so happy with every tile, cabinet color, drawer pull etc. in our master bathroom.
If you're generally skeptical of contractors (which I am), give Derek McGill and Prestigious Home Designs a shot. Their carpentry, commitment to a great final product and customer service are top-notch.
They came out, took measurements, provided a drawing and an estimate, which is exactly what the $49 deal called for. The bathroom was to be extended by 4 feet. It was a simple hip roof, and all they had to do was add 4 feet of wall and move the hip roof out 4 feet. But they put several thousand dollars in the bid for engineering to figure out the roof. Being a carpenter for almost 40 years now, there was no engineering needed. I told them exactly what I wanted on the roof. Also, they didn't really listen to me about the shower, and kind of did what they wanted.

So I went with a contractor that listened to me and didn't charge me for unnecessary things.
Amazing!!! It's hard to describe everything Derek and his people did for me. Derek helped me completely design a new master bedroom, bathroom, and walk in closet. Derek took the time to help me come up with an initial plan for this major renovation. I was out of town for a good portion of the time of the work on this project but Derek kept me updated at every stage. He sent me pictures as well as ongoing communications throughout the project so even though I had to be gone I was part of he process. The end product was amazing and better than I ever imagined.

RW Blue was excellent from beginning to end. PJ returned every call the same day, most time within an hour. Our yard was in bad shape so he actually moved to schedule up a few days to get us taken care of. The workers were very attentive and polite. We also had a fence contractor on site putting in the posts for a fence extension. The RW Blue guys worked around the fence people without an issue & actually cleaned up some of their mess. My wife was working in the yard at the same time & the RW Blue guys helped her move some stuff around even though it wasn't their job. PJ stopped by the next day to check on how everything went. All in all one of the best contractors we have dealt with & we will use them for any other work we do in the yard.
I hired Millercraft initally to build my new shower and install all tile in the new bathroom. I ended up using Landry to complete the entire bathroom and build a custom closet. Landry built a new state-of-the-art shower using Wedi Board. Landry is punctual and completes tasks on time. When there is a delay, he communicates effectively. I highly recommend Landry and Miller Craft and will be using him again for the ongoing renovation of our home.
PHD personnel was very communicative with information on how the job would proceed prior to beginning the project, as well as, during the project and answering questions throughout the remodel. We had a few hiccups with the staining of cabinets and build out of a couple custom items, but the PHD team rebuilt the pieces to make sure they were perfect. We enjoyed working with the PHD Team and absolutely love our bathroom.
After receiving bids from two others top rated remodeling companies in the area. PHD is chosen to complete the work. We decided to do a complete remodel of the master bath, remove the garden tub which seldom used and extend the area into a big shower with a frameless glass wall, custom vanities, quartz counter top, new flooring, mirror, light fixtures and new paint.
Derek has been great to work with from the beginning to the end. He quickly responded to my initial contact, came by and provided a very detailed quotes in a couple of days, he always on time, provided many great advices, responsive to questions and concerns throughout the process.
For the remodeling part, Derek recommended to use the German engineered Wedi shower system to completely sealed the shower area, price is more than traditional mud plan method but well worth it to avoid problem years down the road. He also gave many good suggestions for the project and very helpful and flexible in tiles, cabinet, fixtures selection. The crews working for him are also professional, attention to details, top notched, they cleaned up daily the work area and I learn quite a few tricks from them. Derek also showed up daily to make sure not just the schedule and also the work is done right. The project finally turns out an outstanding job.
I will surely use them again for couple other planned projects, highly recommended.

The professionals at Miller Craft Construction are just that, professional. There were many days of just myself, being alone in the house while they worked. I always felt safe, and I am 8 1/2 months pregnant. They always let me know what time they would be at our house the following day, and that's what time they showed up. If there were ever an issue, they kept me up to date with times. I never had to rearrange my schedule for the remodel. All the work they did to our home is amazing quality! From painting, to the shower tiling, it always turned out professional...there is that word again. The exterior paint they use, is only the best quality, and will last for years and years. All the flooring is immaculate, and the color choices they presented I fell in love with, and still love today. I recommend this company to anyone who needs any job from a basic shower remodel, to an entire home remodel. They are punctual, and professional and were always friendly to me and my family.

The kitchen lighting was a major task, and we had specific ideas how it should be done. Eight four-foot fluorescent fixtures would be replaced with a 7' x 8' stained oak assembly recessed into the ceiling to house four 2' x 2' LED panels. This was a unique approach using new technology and well outside traditional kitchen construction practices, but PHD took on the challenge and built a custom assembly that achieved the intended result (see photo).

During remodeling, we expanded the scope of work more than once (at our request, not PHD's) with additional outlets, a new exterior door, a vent hood and other minor items. All additions were accommodated into the ongoing work flow at reasonable or no cost.

The flooring work required removal of over 400 sq. ft. of vinyl flooring and its replacement with ceramic tile. PHD was careful to check the slab for any cracking which would have led to problems down the road.

All work areas were isolated with dropcloths and plastic "tenting" as needed to minimize the propagation of sawdust, sheetrock dust, paint overspray and vinyl tile chips throughout the house.

The granite countertops were done with only one seam in the entire kitchen. This seam was placed inconspicuously and fitted perfectly such that it is nearly invisible. The slate-topped bar was done to our specifications, with individual tiles cut to size and beveled on-site to provide a unique look.

A significant effort was removal and replacement of some massive teak furniture in the den. PHD carefully wrapped each piece in corrugated paper for protection and wrapped door openings as well for added insurance against dings and scratches. All pieces were moved out a patio door and around the house to the garage for storage and returned when the remodeling was done. This careful handling assured that nothing was damaged in the process.

The finished kitchen and den met or exceeded expectations in all respects. All workmanship was professional and reflected a careful attention to detail. Despite a large number of subcontractors moving through the house, all areas were kept clean and left spotless at completion. See attached photo. There were no cost surprises or significant delays in this fairly-complex remodeling task.

We are currently planning further remodeling work, and will definitely use PHD for these projects.
