Initially, he came and performed the work. When he arrived, he said that the work that I needed was more than the special that I had purchased on Angie's List ($149 for Basement or Crawlspace Repair) and that I would have to pay an additional $225. I did so, and he repaired the area. This was on August 1, 2016. On May 27, 2019, there were severe rains, and at that time, I discovered that rain had come in through cracks in the area that he had supposedly repaired. I contacted the contractor on May 31, 2019 to apprise him of the damages. Initially, he asked me whether the water was coming up from the floor or from the area "repaired." I sent him photos of where puddles of water had formed from the cracks in the cement. He said that he would get back to me. Because I had not heard from him, I called again on June 11, 2019. He asked again that I send him photos. This time, he said that he was trying to wait until he got into my area. [Seeing as he was in Bolingbrook, and I am on the south side of Chicago, I would think the likelihood of his being in my "neighborhood" would be rare]. I have yet to hear from him.

Paid for a big deal. Owner, while very nice and professional, never showed up. Over the course of a year it was clear he wasn't interested in performing the work, or additional work that we also discussed. Thank goodness Angie's List stepped in and processed my refund.

I only have good things to say about this company. I was contacted minutes after I requested a quote. The repairman came out the next day and gave me a quote. I also got a second quote from another company. I went with Concrete Correctors because their quote was slightly higher, however, they would take the job to completion which included restoring the drywall which is now ready for me to paint. The worker was clean and efficient. Additionally, he did a plumbing job for me for a good price and once again he did a great job. I will add this company to my Rolodex and recommend them to anyone who needs concrete work done.

I bought the pre-paid concrete special for $1499 and they never did the work. After the first meeting, calls and emails were rarely returned and the work never got scheduled. I contacted Angies' list for assistance and even they couldn't help get the work schedule or get my my refund. I would NEVER pre-pay a special again based on my awful, awful experience.

Wow, I can't think of a more knowledgeable professional than Grant when it comes to water vs. house issues. He gave me a lot of tips on brick "seepage", foundation penetrations, and roof/wall leaks. The estimate for repairs is forthcoming, but whatever it is, I can't think of a more competent individual for this work.

The initial scheduling should have been taken as a warning. The scheduler wanted to schedule an appointment according their staff's schedule. An appointment was made after Memorial Day but the company cancelled at the last minute. Another appointment was made, and the technician did not show up nor call to cancel. After finally getting someone to come out, the technician placed a coating of material inside the crack. The crack reappeared after a heavy rain in less than 6 months. Over a period of 2 months, Concrete Correctors was contacted by phone, e-mail, and text requesting an appointment for the technician to return to assess the problem. I received an e-mail requesting my address in October 2017. A follow up text was sent 11/1/17. As of today, I have received no reply for to schedule a visit. According to Angie's List, the work is supposed to be under warranty. However, I have been unable to reach anyone from the company.

However, because they did not wait for the back patio to dry completely before applying the seal, they totally ruined the ledgestone caps, which were just installed a year before. This is their own assessment. When I first contacted the owner, Grant Bohanan, Grant told me that he could take off the seal by applying other chemicals. When Grant finally came back to do the repair in June 2017, he realized that the chemical did not work as well as he had anticipated. Without first consulting with us, he then sanded down the surface of the stone caps, a practice made the matter even worse. At that point, I realized that he had no idea on what he was doing... At the end, he agreed that it is all his fault and the only way to fix it is to replace the ledgestone caps. He also stated that he was willing to reimburse us for the cost of fixing the patio. We contacted the company that built the patio and provided an itemized fee quote to Grant in July but have not heard from him ever since. The cost of fixing the patio was $1,110. I have all the pictures that show the damage to our patio.

Concrete Correctors came when scheduled, did a wonderful job, and caulked the disturbed joints. My driveway is now flush with the garage floor, and we don't "bump" on the way in the garage. It's very well done!

I bought the package from Angie’s List. One person did the work. It took probably an hour to do the work. The area was cleaned.

The owner showed up on time to make an initial assessment and provide a quote. I was given a verbal estimate, never received anything in writing. I was told that his father was a retired electrician and that he was available to make an assessment about the need (or not) for the electrical box to be replaced for an additional $75 fee before any other work could be started. After repeated attempts to schedule an electrical inspection, I finally caught up with him. Both father and son's phone numbers aren't always available to take messages and getting a return call is often frustrating too. I was told that they're 'very busy' and customers need to be patient. When 4-6 weeks had passed, I complained about the wait and was told that this was a short amount of time to wait. I requested a refund. They made me feel unimportant and like my business wasn't too important to them either. Horrible service.

Coincidentally just after we had our crack fixed we had a HUGE rainstorm that would have normally definitely meant major seepage issue for us. All we that occurred was a bit of dampness, NO sign of actual water. Luckily, at the time of the repair we had been forewarned that we may require additional material injected into in the lower part of the crack but that that would be determined by the next major storm. I will be calling to have a little more injected but even as it is now, the difference is quite dramatic.

I've been trying to schedule them to come out for over three months. They are completely horrible at responding and at this point I've given up all hope they will actually come to do the work. I am completely open schedule wise but they won't pick a date, kept telling me they'd get back to me, and finally not responding at all. The worst part is I've already paid for the services. Really makes me hesitant to purchase any more deals through Angie's List due to the aggravation and hassle this has caused.

The service guy was great, we agreed on the best course of action and everything was done very quickly and efficiently. However, it took me two weeks and multiple emails and phone calls to get the receipt from the business owner. In any other situation, I would not care much, but I needed the document urgently since we were selling the house.
