These guys did an outstanding job. Very fair prices and they show up quickly to do the job. I hired them three times and was very pleased each time. They actually climb the trees and cut them from the top down rather than just cutting the tree at the bottom and just letting it fall. I really appreciate everything.

Conley Tree Service did a great job removing the tree that was too close to my house. The tree was overhanging the roof and causing mildew/debris problems on my roof and porch. Mr. Conley came to give an estimate very quickly and quoted a reasonalble price. The crew arrived on time, were very professional, and did a good cleanup afterwards. I would recommend to anyone, and would use them again myself.
UPDATED REVIEW
My complaint against the Conley Tree and Chipper Service was premature. I understand now that when they did not leave chips from my newly cut tree, it was because the trunk was too large. He did promise to bring chips from other trees to replace said trunk, but I did not realize at the time that it would not be immediately. I should have trusted that he'd keep his word.
Within less than a week's time, Mr. Conley delivered even more chips than my tree could have made. I am a perfectly happy and satisfied customer. He was cutting trees down in a neighborhood up the road from my house and, as he earlier had stated he would, he not only more than delivered, but offered more chips whenever he has work nearby.
The three men who worked for him were courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after the operation. I should have mentioned during my not so positive review Mr. Conley's kind suggestion to saw off two or three branches of another tree. He had noticed these limbs overhanging my roof and told me they should be taken out. He offered to do this for free.
The Conley crew did saw off the branches even before they went to work felling the tree I'd commissioned his company to take down. In my haste to post a negative review, I am ashamed I had to later be reminded by him of this.
Mr. Roger Conley has been most gracious and patiently endeavored to make me understand exactly what happened. The Conley Tree and Chipper Service is a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and received high recommendations from his local Chamber of Commerce. Both of which are why I wanted him to cut down my tree in the first place.
Supporting local businesses is very important to me and I definitely plan to use this company again.
Mrs. Bruce G. Be wary of this company if you want a tree cut down. Before hiring Mr. Conley, I made clear I wanted the entire tree chipped. He said sweetgums did not make good firewood. I told him I did not want firewood, but wood chips for my garden. He took down the tree &, when I asked why the tree was not being chipped, he said, "You don't want sweetgum chips" and drove away with the logs. Later he told my daughter he did not have the equipment to grind up the trunk!
I heard part of the trunk fall on my roof, then the ground. Mr. Conley denied that this happened. I have before & after photos of the undamaged, then bent, gutter & indented roof. The 'before' pictures are dated the day prior to the tree being felled.
Do not hire this man if your tree is close to your house or if you would like wood chips from the trunk. I'm in my late 70s. I don't know whether my age or the fact I'm a woman made this man feel he could take advantage. Perhaps elderly men and women should be extra careful.
Conley's "Chipper" service is able to chip branches. I was left with a pile of chipped wood and leaves. The chips are so tiny, it's more sawdust than chips. In my town - Hayesville, NC, Mr. C.'s newspaper advertisement listed him as a member of the Chamber of Commerce. I called Chambers in 3 counties, including his hometown's. He was not listed with any of them. Does not mean he isn't a member, just that I was told he was not listed in these particular counties. Nor do I know if he is, as he so stated, an employee of the Power Company.
Today I learned I had to join youtube to post a review. I did so. When I returned to give my review, the review button on Roger Conley's youtube video had disappeared and his company name was changed to "Conley's Tree Service". Two hours earlier it had been "Conley's Tree & Chipper Service". The latter name is what is on his business card and on his website: http://www.conley-treeservice.com/
It's interesting that here at Angie's his company name is "Conley's Tree & Lawn Service". Mr. Conley's youtube video does have a comment button. Clicking it takes me to my youtube profile page. My 'comment' is listed only under my profile, which, of course, no one will ever see. I don't know how Mr. C. arranged that one, or is it youtube's policy? As you can see, I'm now suspicious of every little thing pertaining to Conley, directly or indirectly.

Response from Conleys tree and chipper service
"My name is Chad and I run day to day operations for the past 2 years. I apologize for any unprofessional behavior or any miscommunication that may have taken place. Having said that our chippers will not chip anything over 8 to 10 inches in diameter which rules out chipping entire trees, also the chips will contain leaves and small wood chips unlike processed wood chips you buy at the store. I would also like to reference Mr Conleys employment with the power company becasue at that time he was contracting cutting power line right aways with Ga Power all over the south east. Again I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and if there is anything I can personally do to restore your confidence please contact me and I will to the best of my ability do so."

He never cut them up like he said he would and left them behind my sheds. He was supposed to shred them and he never did.
