The work performed by Conroe Awning and Screen was exceptional. We have enjoyed a variety of their products including drop screens and motorized screens on our patio. Very pleased with their work and customer service!

I was disappointed. The Conroe Awning repair person did not tell our tenant, who was at home at the time, that the awning repair had been completed. When our upset tenant emailed us asking the status of the repair, we contacted Conroe who later apologized to the tenant. My understanding is that the repair was completed satisfactorily. I found Conroe difficult to do business with because they would not accept credit card payments by phone. They insisted on a separate signed authorization form for each credit card payment which was inconvenient since I was traveling out of state at the time. I was also uncomfortable having a signed authorization form with my personal credit card details in circulation. Conroe said they also accepted payments by check or by credit card in person at their office neither of which was possible for me at the time.

"It is never our goal to disappoint a customer and we value each and every customer that we work with . On the morning of the repair our install team knocked on the door and the female tenant answered the door in her robe and appeared aggravated. She pointed them in the direction of the awning. The repair was completed within the hour and at that time the install team felt best not to interrupt her again, knowing that the balance due was not to be collected at that time. Later the office was contacted of this situation and it was resolved immediately. Normally we request that homeowners are home at the time of install, however he was unable to be there. Happy to work with his schedule and complete the job it was done in good faith and the office asked for payment at a later date. I am sorry that this was such an inconvenience for this customer. Company policy is that with any credit card transaction a signature is required and we have other options of payment if needed. Our company was more than happy to wait for a check in the mail if he felt uncomfortable sending the credit card information to us. In the end, the awning is working well but it does dishearten me knowing that we have a disappointed customer. We have reviewed our payment policy and will continue to strive at making our customers happy."

I had an uncovered balcony that has caused leakage problems for some time. I had to remember to caulk and seal the floors and edges every couple years to prevent leaking. In the last few years I had forgotten about it and water leakage damaged a couple main beams costing me $4500 to fix. I finally decided to cover the balcony with an awning. <br /> Conroe Awning did an excellent job building and installing a great-looking awning over the balcony. Initially we had concerns about how the awning would affect the overall appearance of the house. But in the end we really like it.. The price was a few percent lower than some other quotes I received. <br /> However Conroe Awning could have done a better job about safety for their workers. Two guys assembled and installed the awning over the balcony on the second floor. They stood on the cement railings without a safety rope. I am not sure if that is a standard industry practice or not but it really looks scary. <br />

Two people came out the do the installation and it took about a month. They were close by and I liked the fact that they were a mom and pop shop. They left the area clean. They were pricey I thought but they were inline with others prices. So far pleased with the service.

<p>This group did a great job installing our screened porch! It is beautiful! There were some areas that were complicated due to the roof line, which they handled beautifully. Another vendor (who submitted a higher bid) said he wouldn't recommend working around the roof line because it would cost a lot more than the quote he provided, which he didn't submit in writing. Luis submitted a written proposal immediately after looking at the area we wanted screened, and he didn't hesitate to quote the complicated area.</p> <p>The work crew members were articulate, courteous, and punctual. They cleaned up after themselves for the most part (except for some minor screen shards that my husband needed to request them to sweep up) and minimized the disruption on the porch by cutting sections out in our yard.</p> <p>The office crew were friendly and professional, but I did have to call multiple times to get my project scheduled. However, when I explained I had a deadline due to out-of-town family with small children arriving, they accommodated me.</p> <p>I would definitely recommend Conroe Awning and Screen.</p> . <br />

Appointments and installation were done On Time. One porch required a rain/bug cover which had to be custom made. The finished product was heavier than they realized and they called in additional helpers for the installation. I was glad because it made the work go faster and eliminated excess strain on the workers. <br /> The second porch was pretty much a routine screening job with the roof and columns already there. <br /> They cleaned up their construction mess, and you wouldn't know anyone had been working there. The job was completed very professionally. <br /> We have thoroughly enjoyed our porches and use them daily without the nuisance of mosquitoes and other critters. <br /> I just wish we had done it sooner !!! <br /> <br />

I liked Loren Goodrich from the first visit to quote. Young but very professional. His trip to talk about the job was timely, his quote was timely, he forgot about the Angie list discount but then remembered and adjusted the final cost. Once the job was scheduled, his crew arrived on time and actually finished early. The job did have an item on back order but once received, Loren had the job finished quickly. I have waited to make this review because the porch had to cure for a month before it could be painted and that gave me time to really look at the porch and the painter was a friend and I asked his opinion also. He thought the job was excellent, very sturdy. I agree the job is sturdy. Loren did build the porch in a manner different than I expected and we spoke about this before he began and again during construction. He had logical reasons for his choices and more than half the experienced carpenters that I spoke to, agreed with Loren. Only time will tell, but I know the porch will stand a long time. My wife enjoys it, and that was the most important outcome. I have already talked to Loren about another project. <br />

We are extremely satisfied with the over all work. The Awning and the fabric it is simply very beautiful and very strong. It provides a lot of shade for us from 10 am all the way to 6 pm. <br />

The install went flawlessly and I must say I was a little concerned because the top story front windows have those lattice lines on them but when he brought the screens everything matched up perfectly. It completely cut out the sun from shinning in through the windows that I didn't have blinds on so I no longer need to worry about my furniture getting sun bleached. They did a great job!

Excellent! Conroe Awning came when they said they would and completed most of the work in one day. The upstairs screening was much more difficult than was quoted, but the company stood by its price. The special order door was delayed for about two weeks. When they came back to install it, we asked them to put in some more sealant which they readily did. They also volunteered to exchange the handle used to lower the sun screen downstairs for a longer one--no charge. The workers were pleasant, courteous and cleaned up after themselves.
