They did a great job from the salesman to the roofers. Everything the salesman told me (and he went thru everything that would be done, step by step) was done from the materials being dropped off the day before to the clean up after the roof was done. I hope I don.t ever need it but the 50 year / unlimited wind guarantee isnice and it's even transferable if i ever want to move

I was very pleased with the performance of the contractor. The crew was knowledgeable and each crewmember knew exactly what he was to do. The job site was laid out to benefit the speed of the crew. The job was completely within expectation. Greatly impressed.

Scheduling was a little complicated as we were in the midst of tropical storms passing through. But the day of installation was awesome. Everything finished, from demo to install in a matter of hours. They arrived in the morning and were done by mid-afternoon.

Very professional, on time, crew didn't waste anytime. Would hire again if I ever needed another roof...

Great work

Very Professional explained everything they were doing and all questions were answered on the spot. Had Job Site Forman and Job Site Manager. Everything arrived at one time (supplies, dumpster, equipment and crew). They cleaned the whole yard front and rear. There were no nails or trash anywhere once they were done.

Very happy with the results. The crew and the crew boss ran magnets over the yard to pick up nails. I've mowed the yard twice and the mower has not gotten a single roofing nail. Roof looks great.

The roofing contractor was great. I cannot begin to tell you how pleased we were. It was an excellent team that was very, very professional. They are an Angie's List member. We have referred friends to them and they have been happy too. We would definitely call them again for anything. They were not the cheapest, but they were by far and away worth every penny. The service and workers were excellent. They had a project manager on site that spoke English. I needed somebody that I could communicate with. It was excellent; the project manager took care of all those things that I, in the past, had to coordinate. They worked very quickly and I think it was done in two days. That was probably the best experience I had with a contractor in a long time.

The advertise price was $69.00. However, duting the repair they found ways to charge $500 more. I find that this is invariably the case. The Angie's List price is always insufficient. Whenever the provider gets here they find ways to go way over the advertized price. The only service I have received that did not find a way to charge additional money was the cleaning service we employed. <br />

We discovered a small roof leak and called Consolidated. Van Stallings came out the next day and gave us a quote. We had used this company before and were so pleased that we didn't feel it necessary to look further. They came within the week and took two days to do the job. We had lots of roof! They went all the way to the plywood and had to replace 11 pieces (but we expected some of this). I liked that Steve the project manager took pictures of where the plywood was bad so I could see what they replaced. They removed the non-working power vent and added ridge vents where needed. All the various vent covers were replaced. New flashing was installed around the chimney and skylights. We also had a gutter system installed to help keep the leaves from clogging our downspouts so quickly. They use excellent materials and really do have one of the best warranties in the business. To finish off the job the crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the area. They worked tirelessly and professionally. <br />

When we met Van with Consolidated Roofing, we were won over by his professionalism and friendly personality. We had an excellent experience with every aspect of our roofing job.  <br /> They arrived when expected and completed each task just as Van had detailed they would. We were most impressed by the way the crew cleaned up. We found absolutely not one nail on the ground when they finished. <br /> About 5 years later, I noticed a water spot on the ceiling and they responded quickly and easily repaired the gap up on the roof at no charge. <br />

I did a lot of research on Angie's List before selecting 3 roofers to come out and give us a quote. <br /> Not only was CSR one of the highest rated, but they ended up giving us a VERY competitive quote... even beating out one other company that was going to charge a little more but only provide us with 25 year shingles.  For less, we got a great 50-year, architectural shingle roof.  It looks great. <br /> Of course, the warranty is only as good as the company behind it.  If the company ceases to exist, then so does the warranty.  CSR has been around for 30 years.  The owner, Van Sterling, came out to present his proposal after his son had come out to do measurements, etc.  So... looks like his son will take over the company and it should be around for quite a while.  The shingles are by GAF, around forever and likely to remain so. <br /> Van explained to us that the ridge vents we had were working in opposition to the roof fan.  So, we took the roof fan out.  Saving on electricity, the hum of the fan, and resulting in a cooler attic too. <br /> CSR does not use subcontractors.  The crew of 7 who were here all work for them.  Some for more than 10 years.  Stephen, the project manager, was here throughout the day making sure all got done to their standards.  They even pack a microwave with the crew so everyone hangs around here for lunch rather than taking off for fast food somewhere and potentially being delayed on the return. <br /> All of them were very professional.  They tarped everything and didn't damage any of the plantings/shrubbery/etc. around the house.  At the end of the day, they cleaned up so well the only thing that showed they were here was the beautiful new roof. <br /> Would definitely hire again... in another 50 years when we need a new roof :-) <br />

I was very impressed with CRS from the beginning.  Having the Project Manager (Steve) onsite was a great plus.  Any questions I had during the process were answered.  Everyone involved was totally professional and the crew did an awesome job!  I dreaded having to replace my roof but this experience was painless thanks to CRS.
