Mark Hooper at Construction Services of Virginia was great to work with and very cost conscious. We didn't have detailed plans, but he was able to complete everything beautifully, and gave us ideas to make everything work together well. Mark has a wealth of experience and was meticulous in his finishes. We were so pleased with the results that we rehired Mark to screen in our back porch. That project also turned out really beautifully. We would definitely recommend Mark for any construction projects.

The problem I faced when it came time to replace the old heart pine wood siding on my home was how to retain the old handmade looks while making reducing maintenance, enhancing energy efficiency and, if possible,  improving the looks of this old Tudor style building I have called  home for over 30 years. <br /> With Mark Hooper's help the solution was found by using stucco Hardie panels and hundred year old chestnut cut from an old log cabin for the trim. Joining the trim required great skill as well as patience as each piece of trim had to be hand selected and then  fitted and refitted before screws into place.  <br /> The results far surpass my expectation. Mark Hooper's combination of  skill, insistence on quality, and attention to detail is rare and superior. <br /> Throughout the process Mark was flexible to changes, professional, and courteous. The icing on the cake is that his final invoice was actually under budget! <br /> <br /> <br />

It was the best experience it could possibly have been. The owner himself, Mark Hooper, was on the site working every day. He and his men were punctual, cleaned up their mess, and cared about the finished product. I wish I had more projects to do.!
