Very happy we had Contek repair and remodel our living room. Started with a prompt visit by Corey and a detailed quote shortly after, and we then got on their schedule about 6 weeks later. Job consisted of removing and repairing a large area of the ceiling that was water damaged, removing a 9' picture window and also repairing water damage around that, refinishing that with two smaller double-hung windows, refinishing it all inside and outside, and lastly converting a standard small doored closet into an open mudroom closet. Dan managed the job and was nothing but a complete pleasure to work with. Shawn and crew did the vast majority of the work and were also a pleasure to work with. We did have a few finishing items we weren't initially satisfied with, but I'm only saying this because they made it very clear that they wanted us to be COMPLETELY satisfied, and to tell us of any concerns. Dan really went above and beyond here, and he and the crew addressed each of our concerns. It really was a pleasure having the Contek team work on our home, and now we have a living room we can't wait to show off.

They went above and beyond what I expected to see from a contractor.  Fantastic to work with.  Electrical was top-notch, and precision measured.  2nd project:  I had 4 other contractors bid.  I turned one away immediately, and the next three didn't seem to understand building codes.  They engineered the roof in a way which I only needed one post, as apposed to 3 or 4 posts like the other guys bid.  They were able to tie this beam into the existing structure and make it supported.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! The guys at Contek were super professional. They did a great job. We had wood paneling removed and replaced with drywall. We had very weird closets in the room so they built a large walk in closet while keeping doors for the other closets so we still had storage. They installed a Mr. Slim heating/ac unit which works fantastic. They did all the painting and trim work for us as well. The did an amazing job. They had a key to our house and I never felt worried about them being in our house while we weren't home. They were there in our house alone for two weeks plus. Everything we wanted fixed they did without any issues. The best part there was absolutely NO PRESSURE! Corey gives you the most detailed estimate you will ever see and breaks the pricing down for possible add-ons. If you don't add them on no problem. He works with your budget. We are planning on putting a patio in and we'll definitely call them.

Corey is a great guy to do business with. This is the THIRD project I've done around this 200 year old house with him. His quotes are very detailed with line item pricing. You want option A, that's this price. Go with option B and it's this price. I don't see how it could be done better. I got exactly what I was expecting and didn't pay a penny over what was quoted. I think his prices are fair and reflect the quality of work that his crew does. <br /> Corey is focused on customer satisfaction and on doing the job properly. During the course of the job, one of the materials that he'd originally planned to use (and quoted to me) seemed substandard so Corey went with a more expensive, superior product and didn't change his price at all.  <br /> They do what they say they're going to do. They show up when they say they're going to show up and they and work like crazy. Everything was done within the timelines expected. All the guys on the crew are professionals. <br /> When this project is done (and I've got some money saved up again) I'll be contacting Corey for my FOURTH project around the old place. <br /> In case you're curious - project one was a scrape and repaint of all exterior trim (it's a stone house). Project two was a massive dig out of the dirt basement, pouring a concrete floor with radiant floor heating, repointing the interior stone walls, renovating the structural support of the first floor, and some electrical rerouting so that I could finish up a bedroom in the formerly dungeon-like basement. Project four is going to be the addition of a screened porch off the kitchen whose roof will also serve as a deck for the master bedroom. <br />

Performed work according to agreed upon plan. Completion of decking by the end of this week 8/1. Maintained clean work area after work was done each day. followed up Frequently to ensure our satisfaction through the process. Contek is very knowledgeable about construction and offered good suggestions to help in our decisions without additional costs. All workers were professional and easy to communicate with they answered all our questions. <br />

The gentlemen who did the work were very efficient.  The price was good, as was the work.  They were also helpful with advice on parts of the job we had to have done later (but they weren't doing)--all around honest and helpful.  There was just some issue with the start date, but that was due to other jobs being delayed because of rain and not a big issue. <br />

Contek does the tasks I have them do quickly.  Because the things I ask them to do are small, they work me into their schedule.  I am flexible with them as well.  I have been very satisfied with all the work they have done for me. <br />

Great communication. Provided several quotes for us to choose from (varying materials). Did not go over the estimate. Professional and always on time. Very concerned over the safety of the deck. Even took time to correct errors left by the builder of the house. Cleaned up after completed. The quality of work is outstanding . Even the zoning inspector was impressed, Highly recommend.
