Continental Housekeeping Service

It was a disappointing and frustrating experience. The owner and one cleaner arrived late. The cleaner could not speak any English although I told the owner, Lily, that I had to be able to communicate with the house cleaner. Lily said the house cleaner, Nudi, did not speak English but assured me that she would be there. When I started showing them what I need to have cleaned, Lily immediately started asking me if I had certain cleaning supplies. I said no. Then, she saw a box of Clorox toilet bowl cleaner I had upstairs, opened the lid on the box and started to pull out a bottle saying they could use that. I had to stop her. Soon after they arrived, Lily left Nudi alone. I could not communicate with her and had to oversee everything she was doing. About 2 hours in, Nudi was working in the kitchen. Suddenly, she went to my front door and let in another woman whom I new nothing about. She seemed to direct her the clean the floor in the downstairs powder room. When the unknown woman finished what she was doing in there, she went into the kitchen and began helping Nudi clan that floor. When Nudi signaled around 3:30 that they were getting ready to leave, I counted out $155 cash and handed it to her. I also texted Lily to let her know that I had given cash to Nudi. The next day as i started looking around, I could see that they had done a terrible job. The entire back portion of the kitchen floor and the powder room floor had not been swept or cleaned. They didn't use a mop and bucket as most do to mop a floor. Instead, they dampened some rags and wiped the floors. I also found that the acrylic faucet handle that turns the water on and off in my powder room faucet was broken. This is the room where the unknown woman was getting water to dampen the rag to clean that floor. When I tried to turn it on to wash my hands, it came off in my hand! I've lived here for 23 years and never had a faucet handle broken! This unskilled person comes in for less than an hour and breaks it! For nearly two weeks now, I have been trying to find a replacement water handle for my sterling faucet. I can't even wash my hands in my powder room! I called Lily to tell her about what had happened, and she immediately refused to accept responsibility. I told her that, based on my impression of her when she was here, I knew that this would be her reaction. I also told her that I would report the incident and her failure to take responsibility to Angi.

Ladies arrived on time and started working immediately. They cleaned 2 bathrooms and kitchen in the amount of time alotted. They went above and beyond in their work. I’m very satisfied with their work.

Lilly’s employees are wonderful! My house always smells so clean when I get home! There was only one time where I felt that something could have been cleaned better, and Lilly, the owner, was very responsive to my complaint. She is wonderful to work with! I have had several of her employees clean, and they are all very methodical and thorough. I highly recommend this company!!

I am satisfied with Continental and would highly recommend. Continental has been cleaning my house for almost a year every 3 weeks. The staff does a great job each time, with consistent quality, and pay attention to details that make me feel the money was well worth spending. The owner, Lilly, is very responsive, friendly and flexible when I needed to reschedule at times. Not all staff are English speakers but Lilly will work with you to make sure the staff knows your requests and needs. The staff arrives on schedule or will let you know if there are any delays, they are highly courteous, and work quietly so I can work while they are cleaning and they are responsive to requests. The best thing is that it is the same few staff I see each time so they get to know my house and what I expect instead of seeing a new staff each time. I worked with a number of companies for the last 5 years and had the best experience with Continental Cleaning so far.

These ladies do an amazing job! Everything is immaculate when they leave. They go above and beyond to make sure the work is done and I am satisfied. A few weeks ago, I tried to find dust to demonstrate a dusting mitt to a friend. I couldn’t even find it above my doors! They really are great. I have had cleaning services in other towns, but nothing has compared to this. I highly recommend!

Lily is a fantastic communicator and does a very thorough job on the cleaning. I had to get a housecleaning for my rental house in VA (I live in CA). We were in contact throughout the process and she was very responsive to my questions. I would highly recommend!

They are awesome!

They were on time, very professional, and did an amazing job. I have actually hired them three times because I have always been so pleased with the job they do.

They have been cleaning for us for several months now, and their work is consistently excellent. Lily the supervisor is available by text and phone to go over what's needed, and she sometimes stops by to check on how the work is going and to discuss long-term cleaning plans. I am very happy with their work! The cost quoted below is the price per person/per hour.

It went well. Lilly was very professional, you schedule timings with her. Though I didn't get an immediate spot due to mine and their conflicting schedules, our cleaning was scheduled for about 6-8 days after I called in. Cleaners were very professional, nice, and humble. No attitude or drama or feeling that we are cleaning your house or its getting late or rushing to do tasks (that you get sometimes from Cleaning crew). They cleaned as I asked them to (leaving where they should and emphasizing where I asked to). They were fast, efficient, did thorough cleaning without me having to step in much. I will hire them again. Thank you for keeping nice staff.

We were pleased with the results.

The ladies did a fabulous job. I've had several companies come for housecleaning and they were by far the best. The owner even stopped by to check and see how things were going. I plan on doing monthly service with them.

The cleaning was done professionally and was very thorough. This is the second time I've used them and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

They pushed for more hours of cleaning but I said no.
