Our system was not running (this human’s error) and we had carpenter ants in the Control box. System was COMPLETELY checked, every zone and sprinkler head inspected, controls correctly set, and we are back in business. No replacement parts necessary. Also told us moth balls in the box would deter the ants. Thanks to Controlled Irrigation!!

Very large yard in PGA that previously had irrigation updated by another company. They found the wiring problem and got the system working again. 11 zones. Repaired one broken pipe. Seemed knowledgeable. Two hours. $250. Two nice men. The company is listed under Port St. Lucie COUNTY site so I did not have to check for county license or their workman’s comp. I only hire companies that are listed on county site for legal protection.

Just a few days after my first phone call I received an onsite estimate. Technicians came out a few days later to relocate and replace several sprinkler heads. I am so pleased with the service that I have signed a service plan with Controlled Irrigation. I give them my highest rating.

I have used them twice before. Their service is excellent. They are prompt and reasonably priced. They are very courteous and I know that they do not overcharge. I will continue to use them for all my sprinkler needs.

Excellent work. They were prompt, courteous, neat, and very professional. I had three zones installed with a Hunter Pro - HC irrigation controller. The technician came, demonstrated, and programmed the system.

This project went very well. It was a bit more expensive than we expected and that is the only reason I gave a "B" rating for price. However, we have an very large yard so it was only sticker shock. Controlled Irrigation was an extremely pleasant company to work with. If you want quality service and quality product use Controlled Irrigation. We would definitely give them an A+ rating and will recommend them to our friends.

Well organized. Did the job efficiently with the system that was required for my installation. Followed up after it was done, and will follow up in one month. Definitely a company that takes pride in what they do.

They replaced the old manual timer to a digital timer including the valves, moved 2 heads, capped a head, replaced a few heads, and added pipe and another head. Very professional yet friendly and showed up on time. I would certainly recommend them to my neighbors or friends.

I am very pleased with the work Controlled Irrigation performed. I hired them to re-route my control box due to a pool installation. They dug new trenches and when the pool was finished, they came back out to hook the system up.

My well pump was making a loud knocking noise, so I went on Angie's List (as always because it never failed me...until now). I called Controlled Irrigation and they came out and gave a free estimate (which was great). Although the sales guy who came out did not seem knowledgeable at all, he called the owner who is his dad i believe a was given what sounded like good advice. I am a woman who does not know much about irrigation so it was easy to sell me anything. Btw, the sales guy was super nice. He told me the problem and suggested I pay an additional fee for a complete run check to make sure everything was working properly. He gave me an estimate of $250 which was to replace a part on the pump, fix the water sensor, and do a run check. It also included the fee for them coming out to fix it and 2 hours (including run check time). I thought the price was great. I paid it right away (before the service). Two guys came out the following day. They came as scheduled and on time. They immediately got to work, so my husband and I came in the house while the worked. The pump is right outside of my bedroom window. After about 45 mins. I looked outside of bedroom window and saw one guy walking around smoking a cigarette and the other guy was on the phone (I think he was getting directions from the owner because the call seemed to be about the pump). I didn't really care to say anything, as long as I wasn't getting charged (if they would have went over 2 hours). The one guy (who did nothing the whole time) knocked on the door and said they were finished. He told me how he set the sprinkler timers and they left. When the sprinklers came on that night, I noticed that one of them wasnt working properly, so I called them back the next business day which was Monday. Please note: If they did a run check (which is $50 for 30 mins for all 4 zones), they should have noticed it was working. When they came back out, we were at work (which is fine), but they sent me an invoice asking for $120 for parts to fix a sprinkler head and for coming back out. I was livid. They only came back out because I complained about it not working properly. If there was something else wrong with the system, they should have told me that day after they completed the run check (if they really did it). In addition, they should have called prior to fixing something to give me an option as to if I wanted to pay more money. I called when I received the invoice to ask for a breakdown of what I was paying for. The girl said it was for service, parts, and a call fee for coming out. I didn't feel like the situation was handled properly so of course I voiced my concerns a refused to pay until they remove the call fee. I received the nastiest email with certain words in Cap letters and telling me that I now have to pay $215 for legal fee because they were going to put out a lien and late fees for refusing to pay. I was so upset that I cried. It's not about the money, it's more about the principle. You don't treat people that way especially customers. The girl who was so nice when taking my original payment suddenly was nasty, rude and unprofessional. I paid the invoice only because my concerns weren't being addressed and they situation was getting worse. I will never use or recommend anyone use rhis company! You've been warned! One more thing...the water sensor was never fixed. They never even touched it.
