Went really well. It isn't cheap but you get what you paid for. System sounds great. I wasn't familiar with the brand of equipment but it is really nice. That subwoofer really rocks. I upgraded my cabinet for all my audiovisual equipment and was very pleased to find that he took the time to label all the wires. That made a big difference as I have a lot of stuff to hook up. Nice guy and he was answering my questions about "smart home" equipment. Looks like he does that and home monitoring stuff. I'm thinking about getting some from him.

I hired Cool Geekz for the installation and purchase of a home surveillance/security system. David the owner personally came out to perform the installation. I received four cameras all of which had great visibility. David also walked me through the navigation of the DVR and answered any questions that I had. I have some other smaller projects in which I will hire David again.

Had to pay contractor $100.00 more than the contracted amount. Only one channel works when contractor completed installation. Called contractor and gave him the opportunity to fix the problem and he said that is a "cable" problem. Refused to fix. Basiscally paid for services that I am not receiving. Will have to hire another contractor to properly install TV. Had TV in that same location before and there was not a problem receiving channels. All the channels worked previous to the installation. Also have TV upstairs and all the channels work as well. The installation was not done properly. Review Update: 06/14/2017 Just found out that contractor removed the swivel section of the TV and hdt it in the closet when I went upstairs. The TV should have been on a swivel, but the swivel was not installed. The TV is stationary and cannot be moved. Shame on you!! VERY POORLY!!

"To address your issues, the additional $100 was for additional labor for installing the tv above a a fireplace, running an HDMI through your wall, anx installing shelving. The offer you purchased clearly stated that there were additional fees required for those items. Your channel issue was addressed and you were given information for a resolution. As I explained channels are provided by your cable provider and you simply need to contact them for the issue to be resolved via phone without the need for you to have any added cost. The tv stays on the same input and the cable box controls the channels. If you are unable to change the channel on the cable box that is an issue for the cable provider to resolve with their equipment."
