We have used Cooper’s for years and very happy with the quality service we receive each time they perform a service. Highly recommend!!!

I have a very old Japanese Maple in my backyard on the Western Branch of the Lafayette River.  It is a beautiful, even elegant tree.  Half of it did not come back this spring so I consulted a certified arborist.  Unfortunately the roots of the tree closest to the river have likely  harmed by the tidal waters that come up in my backyard. The arborist recommended Cooper's Landscape Management to me for a deep root fertilization treatment for the rest of the root system.  I contacted CLM and they responded the next day to size the job and came out 2 business days later to treat the tree. Every person I talked to was courteous and helpful and they had clearly spent a great deal of time determining how best to treat the tree. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future. <br />

He does great work but he is relatively expensive. My lawn does look nice.

Gary stopped by on his way home and analyzed my lawn to determine what was causing certain dead/dying patches.  He teaches at the Master Gardener course in Suffolk.  He was very helpful and recommended some self help options. <br />

They give good service.

I have used Cooper's Landscape since the fall of 2014 and they have done areation, seeding, fertilizing and crab grass prevention.  My lawn is the best it has ever looked since I have moved in back in 2003.  I have tried the big name companies in the past but it looked like nothing ever changed but just a couple of months with Coopers and it is beautiful.  They come when they say and the products they use work as advertised.  I highly recommend Coopers to anyone. <br />

They are very efficient. They will ring the bell to let you know they are there to do the service. <br />

They also did "flight control" that should help get rid of the geese in my yard. They do excellent work and I'm very happy with them.

I don’t have anything done in the winter. I only do it for the spring to the summer. They are very good and very professional. They call before they come. We have no problem with them. With regard to price, I don’t price out, but I like them. So it didn’t matter to me. From what I've heard, I think they are pretty on par. If they come out and see that the weeds have come back, they immediately come out, do it again and take care of it. With regard to punctuality, they have always called before. We don't have to be here. They just tell us when they are coming and we make sure everything is okay. They tell us what to do with our dog. They are always on time. They will probably come again in April or May. It's like every three months. In the summer, if they come in May or June, they don’t come again until sometime maybe in September.

The technicians are thorough in their spraying.  They come on time, are agreeable and have given us no problems.  We inquired about removing a dead shrub but the representative said that their service includes spraying and treating but not other landscaping work.  We have contracted for ongoing service. <br />

I began using CLM two years ago on the advice of a friend who has been pleased with their service.  I had previously used one of the national name companies franchises and been very dissatisfied with their performance. <br /> Gary Cooper visited my home as scheduled and recommended a course of treatment.  It has taken some time to get the grass to the condition I want, and we've had to battle a number of weeds that result from living in a golf course community.  But CLM's service is always timely, professional, and designed to accomplish what you want.  I feel like I've got a team behind me with a common goal of improving the appearance of my lawn.  CLM is more expensive than the franchises, but they do more than show up with a hose and spray my lawn in 5 minutes before rushing to the next house. <br />

<p>My neighbor and I were inadvertently aerated and seeded with a grass mixture containing a contaminating seed called </p> <p>Poa trivialis which flourishes from November and starts dying out in late Spring leaving large areas of what looks like Brown patch</p> <p>but it isn't.  Coopers came out diagnosed the problem this past summer, killed off my grass as well as my neighbors.</p> <p>After 5 weeks Coopers came back and dethatched the killed grass as well as treating chemically for the poa. </p> <p>Both my lawn and neighbors lawn were the aerated and re seeded with a new hybrid seed. Coopers also changed</p> <p>seed suppliers because of the seed causing the problem. We have been very happy with Coopers the last 2 years.  They have kept our lawn looking really good.  It is always lush with very few, if any, weeds.  They are super helpful if you call and send some really good info in the mail which further helps with good lawn maintenance.  They are recommended by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation for their minimal use of chemicals that impact water quality in the bay.  We cannot recommend them highly enough.  Note that they do not mow lawns, only maintain the health of the lawn. <br />

We've used Coopers for about 10 years now to help control the lawn fungus so common here in tidewater.  While the applications aren't cheap, they are quite successful at keeping fungus in check.  Some years we've had them come out and adjust the applications when it appears that something different is evolving, and they've always been responsive.  A few years ago e added Bermuda suppression, which is worth every penny.  We started with them originally because they were located right down the steet in Little Neck.  They've since moved out to Suffolk, but we continue to get excellent service. <br />

They are very professional and punctual. They always call before they come out to do lawn maintenance.  I highly recommend them for landscape and lawn care needs. <br />

We made an appointment and he came to my house looked over the area asked some questioned and made some recommendations. We agreed on what to do and he got an estimate to me the same evening. Once we made our decision we contacted Mike agreed on a date to begin and he had his workers out to kill the grass. Once all was ready his workers came back, leveled the ground and put down the sod. It was touch and go the first week since we had a scheduled trip out of the country but Mike came by several times and left a note on our door advising my brother that he needed to water more or the sod would not take and would die. He even came by and helped my brother buy some timers and helped him install them to insure the grass got watered twice a day. We have since asked Mike to come by once a week and cut the grass for us. We would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone who has any kind of lawn care needs. <br />

Gary Cooper comes anytime I call and is always patient and willing to teach me the ins and outs so I can make informed decisions. He is honest and will only sell me the services I need. I had a specific weed service and during his visit he inspected my lawn and the weed was no longer there and he took that service off. I would not have even picked up on that or considered looking for the weed until my annual. review. I priced the products to do it myself and it is about the same cost for Cooper's to do it without my labor and a much better quality fertilizer, seed, and weed prevention/killer. <br />

They're the best company that we've had. They are very good. They call before they come to make sure that we are here. I do not have a problem with them at all. They're just very, very easy to deal with. Their price is very reasonable. The whole thing is an A. I will definitely use them again in the future.

We have been using them for about an year now. They are honest and they use eco-friendly practices. I only have providers use organic and eco-friendly chemicals. They are very considerate that we have a dog and live next to a lake. Gary came out and he walked the property with me and let me know what I can do to keep everything up. When Gary made suggestions, I did not have to take the suggestions and nothing is written in stone. Daniel is the one who I deal with always on the phone. The landscapers who come out to do the work me. They always leave me the invoice and they have great clean up that you would never know they were here. We will also be using them to lay down some grass seed early spring.
