About us

Cordier Auctions & Appraisals was established in 1984. The company specializes in the auctioning and appraisals of antiques, fine art, estate liquidations, fine antiques, coins, jewelry, collections, and real estate. Cordier Auctions & Appraisals maintains memberships in the Certified Appraisers Guild of America, the Antiques and Collectibles Dealers Association, Inc., the Antique Dealers Association of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association. Cordier Auctions & Appraisals has conducted appraisal clinics for such organizations as the Harrisburg Area Community College’s Older American Days, the Questers, Rohrer Bus Antiquing Road Show Tour, Millersburg Historical Society, Friends of Fort Hunter, West Shore Country Club and the Friends of the Pennsylvania State Museum. Cordier Auctions & Appraisals is an underwriter for the Antiques Road Show on WITF Public Television.

Appraisal Service
Undervalued items, promised reserve bids at drop off and refused to honor them at sale in spite of supplying emails promising reserve bids. To get our remaining items back took over one year, court and attorney fees and a payment three times the commission they would have received had we left the items.

The Auctioneer undersold the items that were appraised at higher prices. He made lots instead of selling the items individually without my permissions. He sold thousands of dollars of jewelry for $10.00. He lied to me and refuses to return the rest of my property to me. <br />

|Dave Cordier and his team were the consummate professionals through the entire process. They thoroughly explained all aspects of auction to us and they were in constant communication every step of the way.  They charged a very fair rate and disclosed everything to provide that extra peace of mind. They even worked with us to get back a few "personal" items that were accidentally auctioned. The outcome of our auction was optimal...and we could not be happier with how things were handled. Their family is a friend of mine. The person who runs the place is very efficient. He has an excellent organisation both in terms of his sales and cataloging his merchandise. Their appraisal service was excellent. They actually came to our house selling and told us what they could sell and what what they couldn't.
