I replaced an existing floodlight with a Ring floodlight cam. MJ Harrison from CoreTrade was friendly and professional, and after finishing the installation, he helped me set up the device in the app and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. I interviewed a few electricians before settling on CoreTrade. John was the only one that showed up and took notes on what I wanted done. We’ve done a full kitchen gut and remodel. I had mapped out what electrical work I wanted done. He provided some advice based on his experience, which was appreciated. The quote he provided covered everything I asked for. The guy that didn’t take notes didn’t remember all the work I wanted done. Because we were doing most of the remodel ourselves there were several months in between the start and finish of the electrical work. John and crew were very accommodating. Our house is old and it wasn’t easy work. The price was very reasonable. Every time they showed up when they said they would. John was very helpful overall. There was a point when one of the installers was making claims about the electrical and John came by that day to look. He confirmed that the electrical was done right and explained how the installer needed to work around it.

The team was awesome. Way above expectations !! . Communicative, knowledgeable, punctual, professional , resourceful. They had all the tools, new parts, covered the work area, cleaned up after work. Very efficient, communicative, follow all safety standards. It is a high performing team. I did not have to arrange anything They got the permits, licences, insurance, contacted the county for the inspection, etc., the whole works!! And their price was CHEAPER than the discounted bulk price that "CAMP" (= Community Association Management Professionals ) my condo management's vendor quoted. I was very impressed

John and Core Trade are truly awesome. Our builder used them for our entire house, and as we have added things or changed things over the years, we’ve continued to use them. They are wonderful. Very communicative, practical, and easy to work with. I usually have a million questions and they always have answers. We had one situation where the heater they installed for us (we picked it out, not them) had manufacturing defects and they went out of their way to spend the time needed to figure it out, even setting up a call with the manufacturer to get to the bottom of the issue. They’ve done it all for us — wiring the whole house, installing lighting, extending power underground to a backyard patio, adding wattage to outlets so we could install a sauna and heaters, installing fans and lighting, changing out light switches, etc. They go above and beyond and we truly trust them at every step. Don’t give it another thought. Just hire them and you’ll be very happy!

I needed my media enclosure swapped for a much larger one so I could put the modem and network switch in the enclosure, plus some wire re-routing. The owner of CoreTrade reached out within a couple hours of my request, and gave me a quote one business day later. They were able to fit me in only a few days after that. The electricians that did the install were prompt and professional, and did an excellent job. We encountered some difficulties due to warped studs and wires in the way of the box, but they were able to think on their feet and quickly arrive at a solution. Before they left they cleaned the area thoroughly, and the whole time they (and I) wore masks. Overall, from quote to payment the whole thing took less than a week and I'm thrilled with the result! I will absolutely use CoreTrade again for any electrical work I need in the future.
