In Business Since 2019 We are a locally owned business. I started out framing houses at the age of 17 with my dad, who passed in 2002. It is only my son and I, so we take pride in the work we do. I am 47 years of age and my son is 21. We take our time and do the job right the first time. We remodel decks, rebuild decks, fences and porches. Feel free to call me at any time. Corey installed a beautiful fence for us and replaced a deck and stairs. The project was started and completed faster than expected. Corey was always on time and very efficient. Corey paid great attention to our wants and the details we didn’t know we wanted. The entire experience was amazing and we will definitely use Corey and his son again!!!

First off, Corey's a solid human being, so when it comes to billing and work ethic, you're off to a great start. His rate is what initially got my attention, his performance and integrity inspired this review.
Secondly, Corey knows his craft. You've got questions, he's got answers based on experience and not just a general idea.
Finally, Corey's going to go the extra mile to ensure you're, not just happy, but genuinely satisfied. As an example, several weeks after staining my deck, I was concerned about some spots that looked like they hadn't been sufficiently covered. Turns out, it was the original stain bleeding through. The new stain was much lighter than the original dark stain. Corey came out and touched up those spots, not because the original job was lacking, but because he was determined to make sure that even after things were technically finished, he was going to make certain that his customer was confident that they had made the right decision in hiring Corey Hay.

Corey was great. We saw that he was doing a job for a neighbor. I stopped and talked with him about his services. We had a very loose kitchen faucet that we were unable to tighten. He said he could stop by after finishing with our neighbors project, which he did. He and his son Shane came and were able to fix the faucet. It was a very difficult job due to the fact that the faucet was almost impossible to get to. Corey kept at it until it was tight again. I would highly recommend Corey and his son Shane for any other jobs we have in the future. Where are you professional. After struggling for at least an hour or more he charged us nothing for his hard work.

Corey and his son did an AMAZING job. The project was a lot bigger than we both thought it would be, but he kept had it. He got it done. I felt it was great value for my money. He fixed it like he would fix his own fence! Atto to detail doing things right. I would hire him again and again and again. He may not want to ever come back but I would hire him anytime!

Corey and his son did an awesome job installing a tongue and groove ceiling on our porch. Between first contact to completion was only about 10 days. Did the project in a morning. Did a great job, and had the eye and knowledge to know I needed to add a roof vent on top of the porch ceiling so the new wood ceiling wouldn’t warp. He’s coming back next week to do that job. Highly recommend, great price, better value, would hire again!

My fault for not getting his promises in writing. He stated he would tear down and replace existing rails and railing, replace stairs that were pulling away from the deck, repair or replace damaged deck boards, re-nail those old boards with nails sticking up and power wash the entire deck. He even said he would power wash the back of my house. All for the price of $5,000. What I got was angled corner joints with a 1" gap that don't meet or are uneven, a top rail that is skewed like it curved and sticking up. ONE deck board replaced while the others are coming up and have nails sticking up out of them, and NO power wash. I hope he didn't lie about the wood being treated, but at this point I would not be surprised. He came here 3 days in a row from about 8:00am to noon each day and was pretty much himself, his teenage son, and his son's friend. If I find a way to share the pictures I've taken I'm sure going to do it, because I do NOT want anyone else being rooked. Hire real deck professionals folks, and get it in writing!!

"I'm sorry to hear about your deck. I remodeled your deck in April of 2023, and this is the first I've heard of a problem. The first thing you should have done was contact me instead of writing a very negative review that is just completely and utterly FALSE. If I remember correctly, you have a LOT of plants on your deck that causes rot, and were advised not to put them back up there. You also did not want me to replace any of your deck boards but one. You mentioned pictures to show. I actually have pics, and you were EXTREMELY happy with the finished product 13 months ago. If there are bows in any of the rails, I can't guarantee wood for lif"

He was hired to rebuild my deck. Left dangerously unfinished . Several woods were loose and nails were left in unsafe situations. I had to hire someone else to fix the entire deck. Very unprofessional.
