They did an excellent job! The front entryway in my house had been stone but I wanted it replaced with hardwood matching the rest of my hardwood floors. They were able to find hardwood to match. They did such a good job, you can't tell the difference between the new and old.

It went even better than I thought. The added wood blended in so well that you would never know that it was patched.

Overall results were very good. Main problems were that the professional movers they hired to move our furniture turned out to be not available and they had amateurs do the work. The professionals finally came to do some of the more difficult moves. a 5-7 day project ran for 13 days

beautifully. Our floor boards curled from a bad install years ago, and they remedied the problem. Now they're smooth and as much a show piece as fine furniture.

The floors of my art studio are amazing. The old carpet came out easily and all prep work was done in a day. The next day the first layer of epoxy was poured and dried overnight. The last layer of epoxy was poured the following day and cured over night. That was it! The day after the floor was completed they contracted a plumber to reinstall the toilet in the restroom. I'm very pleased with their work.

Like many in the area, we are transplants, and struggle finding good contractors.  We came to Angie's list looking for help on a home that has hardwood on the entire first floor except for the Master.  The floors and stairs are hardwood, and while not in bad shape needed to be refinished and we wanted a darker color applied.  We reached out initially to C&P on a Saturday and received a call back that same day and scheduled a quote time.  They quoted for the work to be done, and pointed out some items we should consider like removing the toilet and sink pedestal in the powder room since we mentioned we may replace them.  I was impressed with Warren's professionalism and experience, so we elected to go with them. <br /> We have had hardwood floors done 3 separate times in other homes, and this was by far the best job we've ever had done.  The attention to detail was very good, and the communication was top notch.  This work was to be done around the time of a rare TN snowstorm, so we had to move logistically a few times.  The results are fantastic, and we are very happy.  We would certainly recommend them to anyone.  It's nice to be able to rely on Angie's list for people to find good contractors! <br />

They were great. They went out of their way to help us get floors refinished before our move in date. They were punctual and polite and did a wonderful job. They even helped make samples of floor colors so we could choose what we liked best in our home. They also waited until we had moved everything in so they could come back and fix any scratches the movers might make. They had professional painters come paint all our baseboards for no additional charge and they looked better than beforIe we moved in. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again in the future. <br />

They were wonderful!  We communicated with Warren, who came out to give the estimate.  He was very professional, called ahead, and was able to do the math to give me the estimate on the spot. His came out to several hundred less than another Angie's list group, so we went with him. He also honored the AL discount that was available.  <br /> Martin came and finished our floors. They are BEAUTIFUL! *** See below for updated concerns***  We just moved into the house and found unfinished hardwoods underneath some pretty terrible carpet. I mean like great--everybody who has come over has remarked how nice they are! (well full disclosure, they also know how excited we are).  We weren't sure how they would turn out when they were finished and had lots of questions along the way. Warren was really helpful and was great about texting, which I really appreciated because I didn't have to call every time I came up with a new question.  <br /> Martin came in and was efficient. He put 6 small squares of stains on my floors so I could see how they look in MY house which was really nice (although it made it really tough to choose!).  They didn't say what my options were ahead of time, so I didn't know what my options were, but apparently all the places use the same companies for stains, so you can look it up (Minwax and maybe duraseal?).  <br /> So the only real issue we had was one miscommunication, but it was resolved really well. We changed our mind about a couple things/didn't have them decided for sure ahead of time--in particular whether we wanted stair treads.  On the day of, Martin thought I said I wanted them, and I thought I didn't (we were going to try to do them ourselves because the industry standard for installing is v. expensive!). No telling--there were so many things going on I probably did say the wrong thing. But when I found out htey had been installed and brought it up, Warren IMMEDIATELY apologized profusely, and offered to comp them. They did the work and brought the materials,  (and honestly its probably better that they did them because who knows when we actually would have gotten around to it) so I paid a reduced price, but I was just so grateful about how it was handled.  This was basically my first time working with contractors so I got super nervous that they were going to charge some inflated price (since we hadn't agreed on a price ahead of time) and I would be SOL since they already did the work....but instead they were great about it. So moral of the story is just make sure you go ahead and clear everything in writing first, but even if something does happen, you can trust these guys.  <br /> Otherwise it was pretty straight forward, and I came home to a BEAUTIFUL house. I mean really beautiful. <br /> <br /> *** A couple notes to add now that I know more about hardwood flooring: when refinishing it is important to fill all the gaps in the wood. Our floors are 60 years old, so there were lots of gaps and cracks. They were filled haphazardly.  As such, moisture...or say my dog's diarrhea, or any other spills/accidents/etc. could get into the cracks.  <br /> <br /> I also wish they had provided a little more education on caring for my floors.  I didn't realize that the first two weeks they were particularly sensitive, and so have some pretty serious scratches from my dog : (

Corlew & Perry did a fantastic job on our floors.  They were able to blend two types of flooring with the result of a seamless finish throughout. The quality of the work was top notch. The worker were on time and professional and ensured the job was done right! I would definitely use Corlew & Perry again, and recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome floor! <br />

Had to move two appliances which was $30.00 as part of the total price.  They did an excellent job and were very nice. <br />

My floors are absolutely beautiful.  They are always on time.  They always do what they say that they will do.  And they are always professional and courteous.  Warren Amour came out and gave me an estimate on the cost and the duration of completing the job.  He was also able to give me some great ideas on changing the stairs that would make them more current.  They are a great team to work with.  This was my second time using Corlew and Perry.  I used in the past to come in and fix a problem created by another vendor.  They came in and correct the problem and made me a customer for life. When I decide to remove the carpet from the upstairs bedrooms, I will use them again to put in the hardwood floors. You will not be disappointed with the quality of their work and work ethic.

These guys are great. I have used them for floor refinishing in the past and they did a fantastic job. Now they are installing new floors for me. I wish they still did carpet!  Everyone I've met has been friendly and professional, and they price fairly. They are my go-to flooring guys. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />

When I called Corlew and Petty for estimate they were prompt. Estimator gave me a price and said repairman would call me directly to set up a time. He came as scheduled and was awesome. This company did not install floors originally and in hindsight I wish I would have used them to begin with.
