The absolute biggest mistake ever was to hire this company! I gave them my brand new home completely empty for almost 3 months to finish the flooring and they took much longer than that. In the process, they were cutting the floor tile in my garage filling my HVAC handler with dust so bad that I had to pay to get it cleaned. They also damaged a brand new blanket with paint on it, damaged my bathtubs by causing chipping and marks in them, ruined areas of my new grass by pouring their leftover mixtures on the lawn, dripped the flooring glue on my driveway and walked on it leaving footprints of it on my brand new driveway, ruined my brand new kitchen cabinet base with water left to sit on it for days, and clogged my French drains by pouring their flooring debris and mixtures down the drains! This was all on top of doing the absolute worse job with everything they did. They obviously don't know how to install flooring as the flooring has now continued to come loose everywhere!!! One of the tiles has cracked because of it being loose and one makes a popping noise when you walk on it each time. But the problem has continued to the concern that I will not have enough flooring to change out all the tiles that are now loose! It was an evident problem as months started to pass and I thought then that it was a good thing they took much longer than they said they would because it the defective installation in areas to start showing. I gave them multiple opportunities to come fix those areas, and they still continued to be problems, in addition to them then ruining my very expensive rug by pushing my bed over and leaving it like that to fix a tile in the master bedroom that they installed with a manufacturer defect that they shouldn't have installed to begin with! My flooring tiles are so loose now that I'm surprised they all haven't just broken while walking on them as they don't have any glue holding them down. After giving Masai, the owner, multiple opportunities to fix the flooring problem, they remained installed wrong. He kept sending back the employee that installed the flooring to begin with, and I said that I have concern for the tile I have is all there is as it is not manufactured any longer and I paid a lot of money for the tile and also had bought extra over recommended 10% waste to have extra tile for the future should something happen. I then had enough of the same guy trying to fix the problems he caused to begin with wasting more of my time, tiles and money, that I texted Masai to have in writing that they only way I would have him come back to fix them yet again is if it is not the same guy, but a true flooring professional. He just kept writing that he will fix them, but did not agree to hire or employ a true flooring professional. He actually hires inexperienced guys off the streets and I had enough of wasting everything dealing with them. I was saying the only way I will agree to him coming back again to actually fix them correctly is he hires a professional and show me proof of their experience or licensing as a professional flooring installer. He would not agree to do so. He also installed my crown molding and baseboards throughout the house. Those were installed horribly too. The crown molding seams are the worse I've seen, and every time I asked they touch them up to not be so visible, they made them much worse again being due to the fact that they are not professionals in any sense. They also got the crown molding paint all over my ceilings and still didn't fix that. The crown molding is cracking, the baseboards I paid all that money for that Masai bought is actually made of some type of cardboard paper. I would have never agreed to such cheap and fragile materials and I had no idea that I did. He went to Home Depot and showed me pictures and I did agree to the baseboards not knowing that you would need to replace the entire baseboard and wouldn't be able to touch it up as I discovered once someone else caused damage to the baseboards! I also looked up the license number Angi has listed for this company, and unless Masai as the "owner" of this company is using someone else's license number, the names that appear on the license is not Masai's at all. Angi needs to immediately remove this company and double check the license number Masai is using as I already said to the Angi representative I spoke to regarding this contractor. I plan to report this company to the licensing board too. The resolution I'm looking for is to get my flooring installed correctly. There is a lot of concern that I do not have enough flooring left to fix all the problems as the flooring continues to get loose everywhere as time continues to go on. The manufacturer no longer makes this flooring and concerned need new flooring bought with more money wasted, let alone the time spent on all of this from the work done to this complaint. I need a professional company to come assess all the flooring, crown molding and baseboards, but especially the flooring to see exactly how many pieces of tile need replaced versus what I have left. Plus, I should have at least 2 extra boxes left of the flooring for any future concerns that I had planned and bought from the start. (Note there are only I think 4 or 5 tiles in each box.) This company needs to pay a professional flooring company to fix the problems they caused, and if there isn't enough flooring tiles to do so, then they will need to pay for all new floors, including materials and installation. If this should head to court, I will also not only have them pay attorney fees, but reimburse me for all my lost time too. I told Masai my reach is really far, and it is. Not only do I have friends at the TV stations located in Sarasota and Tampa, but know at minimum 1 person in every city and town in Florida and the United States! Yes, that is true and factual. I know a lot of people, and a lot of influential people. So, any company that thinks their poor rating on Angi is the only concern, should think again. I am absolutely beyond words that I ever hired this company, a company I chose off Angi! I also forgot to mention that Masai gave me a quote for the jobs, but then continuously asked for more money throughout all the jobs! I would have to add up all the receipts to say how much more than the quotes I paid him for materials and supplies that he completely miscalculated repeatedly. The worse was that he went and bought the items and then just asked me for the money instead of checking with me prior to buying the items!
