The people from Cortes Flooring were prompt and courteous.  They did an excellent job.  The backsplash was a particularly difficult and unusual tile, and we have something like 70 square feet of it.  We're happy with everything they did. <br />

They're good. They did good work. Miguel, the owner is really good. The wood floor turned out really good, the tile I'd give a C but the wood I would give an A. I would recommend them. If I was recommend them, I would just tell them make sure you tell Miguel you want the good tile workers. He's got a whole variety of workers, some better than others obviously. He worked with me.

I had a good experience. The only reason I did not rate As across the board was because the timeline slipped a few days, I had to call them to ask for status (vs. being updated) and they installed a different carpet than I selected. The carpet issue was not a big deal, but I was lucky that I liked what they installed or the project would have taken longer. <br /> I would use them again. <br />

Overall, we are very pleased with the results of our floor.  The tile crew was complete in one day and the wood installers took just a little over two days to install 2400 sq ft with glue. They removed the carpet and old tile and moved furniture around as required. We get compliments on the wood floor consistently and it is well deserved. We give the tile guys a C+ as not all of the tiles are level in the bathroom.  Wood installers get an A. <br />

They were polite, courteous and prompt. Very good work. Miguel Cortes (the owner) was very polite and helpful. 6 months ago my carpet was rippling, and I called him and he came and looked at it, sent someone to fix it and didn't charge me! I would definitely recommend them. Everything was very nicely done and everything has held up since they were last at my home.

miguel functioned as the general contractor, other than a missed $400 credit on returned tile that I did not receive, i was pleased. <br />

Miguel gave me an estimate for tiling 3 bathrooms and a laundry room which included removal and replacing the toilets. His crew which I believe consisted of a husband and wife team did a great job. Very good quality and also very clean work. <br />

It came out really good.

Oops, I didn't read the directions fro how to write this, but got all gushy above. <br /> <br /> I can't believe how well this went, and how they actually did more than I expected on every part.  They also clean up and take the garbage away - leaving no mess.  The house was pretty much ready to move in when they left and one team did it all. <br /> <br /> They were contacted as a carpet company (and they have access to the most beuatiful carpets on the market - as well as the top designer tiles) and they transfermed the house in under two weeks. <br /> <br /> I can't say enough about the team, I dealt with Wahington, and ran the show very well. <br /> <br /> -Christopher <br /> <br /> P.S. <br /> <br /> Do, do, do.

Miguel was a pleasure to work with as were the rest of the team. He was very responsive to phone calls and questions and  was in daily to supervise the team. They sized up the job and advised as to the number of tiles needed and recommended ordering a few extra as spares. Their estimate was right on! <br /> They worked long hours, often late into the evening in order to complete the work by our deadline (which they did). My recollection is that it took about 10 days to complete the job. They covered walls and fixtures with sheeting to protect them from the dust generated by prepping the floors.The quality of their work was excellent with obvious attention to detail, and  they demonstrated significant artistic talents in placing the 18 inch travertine tiles to "flow" nicely together. <br /> Everything was cleaned up well and the floor looked absolutely beautiful after they finished sealing it. <br /> We did notice a cavity in one of the tiles a few days later and Miguel returned immediately to look at it. Rather than filling it , which would have been the easy way out, he replaced the whole tile with one of the spares. <br /> Overall, we were very happy with their service.

Everything went really well. The crew and materials arrived around 8:30 am on Monday and worked until very late. And did the same for the next 2 days. It took a total of 3 very long days to complete. They were fully prepared for the job and were very precise with laying the tiles. They cleaned up all of the debris outside where they set up to cut the tiles, moved all furniture back, reset the toilets and re-connected the appliances in the estimated time frame I was given. I have never been so impressed with work I've had done in the past. They are true artisans of their trade. The attention to detail and work ethic would be a tough act for their competitors to follow, in my opion.

It went very well. It took one day to remove existing tile and carpet. About 5 -7 days to replace existing tile and carpet. It took about 7 working days for the carpet to arrive. The installation of new ceramic tile was done before hand - 18" tiles. The cost of installing the tile was $2460 and the baseboard was $1683. The carpet and padding was $2619.98. Pedro who did the tile has a fine eye and laid narrow spaces between each tile. A month later I can find no errors in setting the tile. I hate to say perfect, but it is as close as possible to that word. Some may be put off by the cost, but I'd'use them again. They were all attentive to detail which you can't pay for. The owner, Miguel, owner Cortes flooring, always available for consultation. Workers were timely.

Fanatisic. Bought a condo with no upgrades. Went to Angies List for Las Vegas (we live in Pa.) Found 3 highly rated contractors.. Called set up appts with all. Was very specific with the time I would be out in Vegas and the time frame to get everything done by. All three were punctual also within approx. price range. We chose Miguel because he could do all that was needed, not just the flooring.. Miguel also works with F & F Enterprises -Ronald L Evaristo who does the painting and supervises his crew. Ron did all he quoted and more. I wanted the fireplace to have a different color bordor. He matched the color to the keystone shaped choc tile designed by Pedro (Miguel tile man). After it was painted I did not like it-- Ron repainted it without any hassles. These guys worked late and weekends to get everything done. I can't say enough about Pedro- a true craftsman in tile. Ron was neat and quick. He was so helpful in so many ways. The garbage disposal wasn't working properly- Ron came up with the part without being asked. Put up my new fans. So many little things this crew did-knowing I didn't know my way around the area .Ron took me to the location pick the tiles and carpet.Found all that I needed in my price range.. Miguel took me to pick the granite and then to the fabricator to explain how I wanted the granite to blend with the backsplash and finish the edges. I highly recommend Miguel & Ron.They go the extra mile with a smile and are true professionals.
