Work went very well. Marty with Countryside is a consummate craftsmen. His attention to detail is excellent. Good experience.

Marty is an exceptional painter and very reasonably priced. Several times I had to leave my home when Marty was working. I had no problem doing so. He is very trustworthy. After he did such a great job on the outside or our home, we had him do quite a bit of painting on the inside. If we ever need more painting done, we will definitely hire him again!

Marty is fabulous. I always entrust him with jobs in my house. I found him on Angie's Lust when Angie's List was in it's infancy. He'll tell you that he's "just a painter". But he is a dedicated and fabulous painter and has been painting for over 30 years. A+++ All the way.

Let's be honest. I'm a single 51-year old woman and I have cancer and I'm kind of a typical female. I can bake a cake but come to other stuff like cars, electronics and household projects etc., forgetaboudit. I had a horrible experience with another painter who was fired, removed from my home by law enforcement, leaving the project (and me) in chaos. I was shaken and very ill from surgery and chemotherapy. <br /> <br />I called Countryside Painting absolutely shaken from the experience and wondering what I was going to do. Marty answered the phone, came to my home driving from Longment to Littleton within 30 minutes, witnessed the disaster and if I decided to take the incident to court, wrote up an entire review for the court and even offered to testify. (I filed a police report and put the incident behind me). <br /> <br />Going forward. The other painter took a portion of the money in purchasing hideous paint. Marty had left-over paint from other paint jobs and didn't charge me for paint. Within the week, he had the upper floor of my home looking wonderfully then added services in remodeling two bathrooms, trim work, carpentry and all this hurting with a bad back and in pain. Marty provides outstanding input with paint selection, color and shows paint swatches on the wall to assess color preferences that can be even one shade different vs. shiny, vs. matt, vs, warranty of paint, you name it, he knows about it and works with you for the best options for long-term. <br /> <br />I currently had Marty repaint the outside of my home from yet another painting nightmare (Okay I'm a sucker, I admit it). I have yet another contractor issue in remodeling my basement and while a drywall construct goes on and on, Marty had the entire outside of my home completely done in 2 days. Marty in his superior ways, lends great support to the other contractors, does his incredible work and the outside looks fabulous. As we get to the basement, I value Marty's expertise and cleaning up everyone else's messes (including my own in getting sucked in by and quot;otherand quot; contractors...) <br /> <br />Marty is thorough, punctual, absolutely trusted, does excellent work and goes out of his way to work with you

He was extremely professional.  He was upfront with his timing and when he was and wasn't available.  When his schedule opened up he called right away to let us know he could fit us in sooner.  I can't wait to call him again so he can help us with our basement painting! <br />

We have used Marty in the past.  As always; he is professional, timely and does a great job.  He is also good with many household repairs.  We needed some tile work in our bathroom which he was able to do.  Had to rip out an area of tile leaking around a tub and replace the underlying dry wall. <br />

Marty is the best. He is a gentleman and a delight to work with.He felt that some of the wood paneling I was concerned about was in good condition and didn't need attention.  He gave me an estimate of $400, but found the work took less time than he had anticipated    and reduced his fee to $125. I will definitely call him  for any future painting work <br />

Working with Marty was a truly excellent experience.  It started when I was calling around to get quotes for a somewhat unique job at my new house.  We were about to close on the house, and before we moved our things in, we were looking to get all of the ceilings painted followed by our own work to paint the walls.  Since the walls get painted last, the ceiling paint didn't need to be cut into the walls and could just be sprayed into the corners without masking.  With limited masking and no furniture to work around, I was hoping to find a company that would appreciate these facts. <br /> I called several companies on Angie's List as I worked my way to Countryside.  Most places were too regimented with needing to schedule an estimate first, which was not possible since I didn't officially own the place yet, but needed to get work scheduled for the day after I took ownership.  Marty was the only one who seemed to understand the unique job elements, AND he didn't hesitate to give me a quote right there on our first call. <br /> We then went on to discuss a few other parts of the project with which he could assist.  One of these items was to help us get a head start on covering up some really dark colors on the walls by having him just use the ceiling spray gun on the walls in these rooms too, reducing the number of coats we would need to do ourselves later.  Since this meant only a slight change to the masking technique in these rooms, he said he could add a small amount to the quote to cover paint costs after he saw how big the rooms were. <br /> Marty called me the night before to confirm and arrived exactly on time the day of the work.  I started off working on other parts of the larger painting project but ended up spending the day working alongside Marty to help take down blinds and outlet covers, lay down carpet masking, and otherwise assist to make the most out of our time.  It was a great day, and Marty was really fun to work with. <br /> As we went through, Marty explained several things about painting techniques and materials, and even gave me a few pointers for doing the other parts of the project.  Perhaps one of the best parts of the work Marty did that day was to use the sprayer to paint the closets in the bedroom.  For a small additional price, he knocked out three walk-in closets and a large kitchen pantry in no time at all.  This easily saved me DAYS of hand brushing work and really helped accelerate the whole project! <br /> At the end of the day we settled out the price and I felt it was incredibly fair.  I appreciated Marty's flexibility to add on parts of the project as we went along, and his willingness to give me tips and tricks to make me more successful too.  I got the sense that it was unusual to work alongside the homeowner, but from my perspective it was a real treat to have a professional spending the day with me to take a major dent out of the huge project. <br /> Would I work with Countryside Painting again?  You bet - in fact I already did.  Marty was available for part of the following day so he quoted me an hourly rate to come back and help some more!  This was again excellent, as he not only continued to show us ways to be more efficient, but he had the very tall ladder necessary to paint the high ceilings in the living room and hallway.  He was able to complete the areas we could not reach and again moved our project forward by leaps and bounds. <br /> Marty was just great to work with - give him a call if you are looking for some down-to-earth, flexible, professional, and quality painting help on any project.  I was very glad to have found Countryside Painting and next time he will be my first call, no question! <br />

Excellent job.  Thoroughly explained how he would complete the job and then went to work to get it done.  Conscientious, meticulous, and eager to please.  In addition, Countryside was on-time everyday.  Again, excellent job.  I will use Countryside to paint the remainder of the interior of my home. <br />

We were very comfortable with him working in our home and he was very accommodating of other contractors we had coming in as we worked to prepare our home for sale.  He got the job done on schedule and he went above and beyond by offering to help us with a few extra projects like hanging a chandelier in our foyer.  Highly recommend! We'd hire him again without a doubt.

This was the second time I had used Countryside painting.  Marty had previously painted 4 rooms in my home.  He did such a good job that I had him back one year later to paint our new outside pergolas.  Again he did a fantastic job and was very knowledgeable as to what type of paints/materials to use.  He was prompt and very professional.  He cleaned up at the end of each day and left my home and patio looking the way it did before he arrived.  His prices were very reasonable and I would most definitely use him again.  As a matter of fact I have my entire second floor that needs painting and I intend on using him again if he's available.

He was very fairly priced and under tagged the price. He was very professional, did a great job and also helped us with the colors. He explained everything and was fast. The job turned out good and in fact we have recommended him to quite a few friends. I would use him again in the future.

The experience was very good. He came over right away, gave me a bid, let me know when he could do the work. He even did the work when I was out of town on business, choose the stain himself, and I didn't need to have anything changed or corrected after the work was done. Some of the beams are VERY high up in the air, as the house is a high 2 story house. I will use this painter again.

We bought a house and we had gone to California. He was here when the electrician came to work. I felt comfortable with him looking over the place. I found him on Angie?s list and selected him because he had a good report.

Initially, Countryside worked hard to match the colors of the house, and did so to our satisfaction. Except for a couple of days of bad weather that precluded painting outside, the painter arrived every day until the job was finished. From time to time, he would consult with us about how we wanted him to deal with specific issues, such as caulking at the bottom of the building, giving us the pros and cons of different ways of dealing with various things.
