A huge tree was damaged in a storm this past week. I'd used Cox Tree Service to removed dead pines. This time it was a damaged oak. They quoted a reasonable price, came the same day and removed the damage, trimmed up the broken and bent limbs, and shredded the branches. Best of all, the lawn didn't have any debris on it when they left. For an efficient, dedicated crew, I'll call them again and again for tree work.

They came quickly. They did an excellent job. I would hire them again.

On a Friday, I urgently needed trees, stumps and brush growth removed from the fence lines and around my house that weekend. I called several companies and either no one returned my calls or they said they would not take the job due to it being a holiday weekend. When Cox Tree Service returned my call Friday evening, the owner was so nice. He came out that evening to assess the job and arranged for three people to come out Saturday and take care of the main work. We then marked the stumps for removal by a separate appointment with a machine that ground the stump down to the ground. I was amazed at how fast they worked and how thoroughly they cleaned the chain link fence line of 2 and 3 year grown trees and brush - including poison ivy and thorny roses and vines. The price was very reasonable; their customer service was excellent! I will only ever use them again when I need any yard work in the future.

Bradley got back with me shortly after I called, took the huge tree down 5 days later. He and the whole team were great: punctual, courteous, fun, safe, great teamwork, great price, easy to talk with, kind about my being emotional about my old tree, gave suggestions for replacement trees, cut up firewood for me, excellent clean-up job. Could not ask for better! Will definitely call them for future tree work!

The city had cited the property for overgrown trees and weeds along the fence line and buildings. I was given 5 calendar days to get it cleared out - going into a holiday weekend. I tried to do it myself, but realized it was too much. I called multiple companies but they either would not do that kind of work or did not want to come on the holiday weekend. The owner of Cox Tree Service returned my voicemail promptly and came out the same evening (Friday) to appraise the work. Despite having plans to give the team the weekend off, he was understanding of my urgent situation and offered a plan with options. The crew who came on Saturday were professional, very hard working and also very understanding of the situation. They worked non stop the whole time they were here and cleared everything so fast. They even brought a mower,because i had mentioned to the owner the mower needed repaired. There had been 3 years worth of growth along the chain link fence and buildings, including poison ivy, but they cleared it all and even saved several of the hostas and other perennials. They made suggestions of how to keep the growth from getting out of hand in the future. They have earned my business from now on.

We had a challenging project to remove a large tree from back yard that had no direct access; enclosed by fence and surrounded by neighbors. Cox brought a crane to lift the pieces over our house and avoid disturbing neighbors’ properties. Project was complete in less than a day, all cleaned up and wood removed.

Work was done professionally, clean up was spectacular, and overall work was to expectations.

Absolutely top notch, perfect service in every way! I'm so pleased with their work. Bradley Woodruff gave me a very fair $950 price for them to expertly remove and chip up a large 40'+ mature tree that was leaning over our home and cluttering a koi pond.. Fish to be placed back into the pond again once the pond is drained and cleaned of all sawdust etc. I verified their liability insurance was in force, and of course it was. These guys are PROs. They communicate easily with each other with radio headsets, and they are very safety minded. Having that CRANE was key to them quickly and safely moving thousands of pounds of huge tree sections over and away from our home to be chipped. Way more efficient and safer than some guy on a boom truck. Hire Cox Tree Service without any hesitation. I certainly will again and again, I'm sure. The bonus we got was they left us at our request, a custom notched tree trunk bench to be sanded and finished in the future. How cool is that to get a built in permanent bench to watch our fish?

Cox showed up on time, was careful of the limb being above my garage roof. Cut it up and left the fire wood for me. Cleanup was done and you didn't know they were here.

Bradley Woodruff and the Cox Tree Service team delivered outstanding service! From an estimate on Monday, to a completed job on Wednesday, they had the heavy equipment, and the skill, to handle the removal of a large tree, fast. The price was reasonable for the size of the job, though there was one issue with the Angie's List coupon, which they did ultimately honor in full. If mentioning Angie's List and the coupon needs to happen before an estimate is given, then it should be clearly stated on the coupon. But that's between Cox and Angie's List. Aside from that small problem, we heartily recommend Cox Tree Service!

It went very well just as we figured it would, since we'd hired them a few years ago and were very impressed then with their work. They were finished in about 4 1/2 hours and that included all cleanup.

Bradley and his crew was there on time, completed the job quickly, and there was not a leaf left behind. So nice to be able to see the house again. Crew was very friendly and professional! Will be using them again in the future!
