This is not the same company that built its long-standing reputation for pool construction in South Florida. It was sold last summer, and the change in management is evident--prospective customers should take that seriously. Unfortunately the company changed hands to the new owner while I was under contract. Now, eight months into what was represented as a three-four month build, my pool remains unfinished I have been passed around the company like a tennis ball and despite the owner's constant apologies I have learned that I can not trust what he tells me. Below is what eight months in looks like with this company. Be aware of my experience.

Stay away. The original owner jim was bad enough but the new operation makes jim look like a superstar. 1 year and 1 month to date and still not done. Excuses, lies, etc. But just plain in competence. I am a state licensed contractor for over 30 years so I do know what I am saying. Go thru the contract completely infact have a attorney look at it. Do not listen to verbal. I signed in December of 2024 and as of Jan. 2026 still no answers on delays still not done. Every phase was a failure, I caught them numerous times lying. Damages to my hime not even near the work on a 2.5 acre property. Such as septic system, concrete slabs, etc. No reason to be in that area. I have filed complaints with the old and new license with the county and soon the state licensing board. They failed 100% , self inflicted incompetence. At this point they are still at the same stage since august 2025. Probably nice people but horrible contractor. Do not use CMCP. Contact me if anyone needs proof.

Terrible. My parents just finished their new pool in February of this year. Right after that their travertine decking starting sinking and buckling. It looks bad and is a tripping hazard. They called and were told they?d have to be put on a list to have it fixed and that they had a lot of these complaints. Every time they called to get an update on the timeframe and were told they needed to wait until after ?rainy season? and now the company sold and the new owners will not fix it. This is not ok. My parents are elderly and saved for this pool. The new owners said to contact Jim who they bought it from. Do not trust this company.

Craft Master Custom pools worked with us to design & build an inground pool & patio based on the total space we had, factoring in the survey, easements, our requirements & requests. They did a beautiful job. They were flexible & willing to make adjustments as the job progressed & we thought of things that we would like have & were not in the original plan. They work with you well. They were very responsive & easy to work with. The finished pool & patio are thankfully beautiful.

CraftMaster Pools is in a word—awesome. Great attention to detail. Fantastic quality. Always true to their word and on schedule, on time and absolutely a joy to work with. I highly HIGHLY recommend them. They are awesome.

Jim and Sabine were always able to help and they guided me through the pool building process. It was a lot of construction but my pool turned out just the way Jim drew it out. We are really happy and its a highlight of my yard!

Took about four months from first dig to final fill and everything went as expected. The workmanship was great and the staff were awesome to communicate with. I highly recommend them if you want a new pool of your own!

The team was here on time and they quickly got to work repairing and replacing our pump. It now works great and we were very pleased with the result and the service. I would definitely recommend them.

I first met with the owner(Jim) and he was extremely attentive returned my calls every time, until he was hired at that point it was a disaster it took him 10 months to install my pool, he left open issues and because I wouldn't pay him a small $900 balance in full until the issues were resolved he never came back, I am now having much greater problems like my waterfall is cracking my pavers are collapsing and he wont return a call or address the problems. People beware of him he is a thief and a liar and does not stand by his product.

Jim and Maureen are the owners. They are very professional and extremely responsible. Everything went so well from start to finish. We now have a beautiful pool that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them.

Awesome job. Great design and we LOVE our pool. Jim took time to explain items we knew nothing about. Jim was down to earth and professional. Always getting back to us.

They showed up on time, they have constantly been working since they got here this morning.

The overall performance of this construction went very well. <br /> We are very happy with the company, and we will use them again in the future, if we need to make changes to our pool or build a new pool <br />

They were nice in the beginning and through the job. After they finished we had a couple of issues and it took them a while to fix the problems. We referred them out as well and they never got back to the person with an estimate. I would not use them again as we have had problems with the chemicals as well.
