About us
Craftsman Connection’s owner has been remodeling since 1998, and was a former building inspector. Please call us at 817-600-5700. I also make YouTube videos. You can check out our some pictures of our work on Instagram and videos on YouTube on the Craftsmanconnection channel. I started my business in 1998 was due to the lack of good communication with the typical contractor I believe in creating a great plan, covering all the details we could possibly think of and detailing all that in line item pricing. Kitchens and bathrooms is my passion. Integrity and Honesty being our number one priority we always do what we say what we will do and put it all in writing too. It's safe to say we always show up to our appointments and the everyday work. Consistent, reliable, meticulous both in service and quality craftsmanship. Veteran owned & operated. If you are looking for the cheapest, aka low quality, contractor, I’m sure we are not it. We focus on high quality workmanship.

"It?s definitely been a pleasure working for this family, and remodeling 4 of their 5 bathrooms, laundry room by adding a second stacked washer and dryer, ceiling drywall repair 20 feet up, and a few other tasks. Between the design features of the bathrooms and having clients who treat you like family make a project fun. I?ll miss the interactions with all the kids, until we start up again on some more projects planned for 2027. I wish all my clients were like this couple."
"Thanks for the review, and it was my pleasure working with you again on another project. It?s always fun to work with new materials, like the Meoded microcement, and create something new and interesting. I made a YouTube video about your fireplace project and uploaded it to my YouTube channel CraftsmanConnection, and forwarded the video to the manufacturer of the microcement. Enjoy your new fireplace surround."
"Well, thank you Sir. I’m happy we had ample time to plan ahead, and then ready for you right on time when you came back from your long vacation. Enjoy your new shower with that pretty awesome shower bench. I wish I had one myself on occasion. Quite fond of the big 24” x 48” tiles for the shower walls, which makes it quite seamless, and easier to keep clean. I’m happy you went with that frameless shower glass, as it always adds some more elegance to the shower. I filmed the shower tile install, so hopefully I make time soon to edit that video and upload it to my YouTube channel. It’ll probably be on a playlist called DB Master Shower. It was a pleasure working with you, of course. If you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you again!"
"Thank you, and it was a pleasure working with you too. The vanity looks amazing, and I’m happy everything went smoothly. I enjoy seeing the transformation and happy with the extra counter top and storage space. You picked a nice looking vanity."
"Thank you for the review on your recent walk-in shower remodel, and related repairs. It was a pleasure working for you and your family again. I look forward to remodeling your master bathroom when you’re ready to discuss that project. Details: This 36” deep x 60” wide (wall tile area) x 8 feet tall walk-in shower estimate was around $11,249, plus the cost of the shower tile, and grout, which was around $1,000, and already had 3/8” shower glass, and the track hardware had to be replaced, and everything re-installed. The shower drain was moved from the left side to center of shower floor, plywood subfloor repaired, 12” x 24” shampoo niche framed, new shower valve installed, and all the shower waterproofing done and tested before any tile work was performed. 6”x 18” shower tile. The shower remodel project took 2 weeks (10/2/24 - 10/17/24)"
"Working for this family was a pleasant and fun experience remodeling their bathroom. The existing master bathroom had a terrible tub in an area that used to be a walkin shower and a built-in tub. The previous homeowner had installed a freestanding tub with a rain showerhead, and it was functionally a terrible layout. so essentially, we brought the house back to the original layout, but swapped it from left to right, so that meant moving the drain pipes of water lines, so the homeowner could have a larger, walk-in shower, and frameless shower glass on the right and a freestanding tub on the left with floor to ceiling tile wall. The bathroom got a new vanity, and new porcelain tile floor. I had to convert the existing single sink vanity to a two vanity, patch some drywall. Thanks for the review, and I’ll see you soon for the upstairs vanity project."
"Sir, Thank you for the review for your powder bath drywall texture and paint project. For the people reading this, I made a YouTube short on this project. I hope your house sale goes well, and your move to your new house is filled with joy. Enjoy your retirement with your wife. It was a pleasure working with you."
"Thank you for the review. It was a pleasure working on this Jack & Jill Bathroom remodel for your family, and carving some time out to teach your 2 boys how to install a couple shower tiles. I made a short video of your tub shower project and uploaded it to my Instagram page Craftsmanconnection. I’ll create a drawing for your upcoming laundry room project, and we can move forward from there in the next few months."
"Thank you for the review sir. Yes, nobody could have imagined the door lock manufacturer including a bracket or screws that didn’t work with the lock set, or a wall 5/8” out of alignment with the other wall 30” away, but we rolled with what we’ve been dealt, and I appreciate your patience, and good attitude. Looking forward to your master bathroom or shower remodel sometime in the future. Let’s develop a plan, so you know what that will cost, and when you’re ready, we can move forward."
"Thank you for the review sir. It was a pleasure working for you and your family. Creating the vision for the client with a plan, and completing everything to perfection is my passion. Enjoy your new tile floors. Looking forward to your Master Bathroom project sometime in the near future."
"Thank you so much for the review of your kitchen cabinetry, and the water damage repair. It’s been a pleasure working for you and your husband. I look forward to working with you both in the very near future."
"Thank you for the review and It was a pleasure working with you both, as always. You can see the white /Grey marble master bathroom and kitchen remodel on my Instagram page CraftsmanConnection. The bathroom was about 200 square feet in Southlake, where I installed a freestanding tub, moved the plumbing, hexagon marble floors, 4’x5’ walk-in shower with 1’x 2’ Marble tile on the walls, new shower plumbing, etc. The kitchen has existing stain grade cabinets, new quartz counter tops, new appliances, and a massive island. Crema Marfil marble floors."
"Thank you for the review. This was my 3rd or 4th project with this customer, and it’s always a pleasure to do work for him. We’ve remodeled his kitchen, house tile floors, and fireplace, and this project was replacing almost all of his house siding, trim work, soffit, fascia, fireplace chimney siding, and 1 exterior door. Then we painted the entire exterior of the house. This project cost a little over $25,000."
