CRAFTSMAN'S CHOICE, INC.

Our customer representative Matt from Craftsmans was far the most knowledgeable and considerate among all the companies we considered, his flexibility, consideration and overall value were the main factors in our decision. We have referred family and friends to Cratsman for multiple projects, including windows, siding, etc, the consistent theme in selecting Craftsman are knowledge, flexibility and value. I referred my own daughter and that says a lot!

Working with Ben and Warren at Craftsman’s Choice was an excellent experience from start to finish. Their professionalism and expertise really set them apart. The crew treated our home with respect, kept the work areas clean, and paid close attention to every detail. From the interior window installation to ensuring everything was properly sealed after installing our James Hardie siding, their craftsmanship was clear throughout the entire project. The quality of the materials they used was outstanding—especially the Marvin windows, which have been a fantastic upgrade. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with Craftsman’s Choice and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier workmanship.

No! No! No! Unsupervised crews, not held accountable. Damaged property. And walked away with no recourse. Doesn?t matter if a company is bonded or insured, so don?t get caught in this judicial nightmare. Just avoid, and beware. Could have been a great outcome, it wasn?t. And ALL of the vendors work very closely with them, and won?t take a stand either. They all make money off each other. And Hardie, has been unresponsive to a failed siding install. No! No! No! Just don?t. And get an attorney first, to write your own contracts for your project. If you don?t, you?ll need to hire one anyways! For those that HAVE made a decision to use this company and had trouble with James Hardie product installation, access this resource immediately : https://claims.jameshardie.com/ You?ll be glad you did.

Craftsman Choice Inc. sent out a their repair manager to check our roofing for winter damage. Arrived on time and performed detailed inspection. Very professional and explained the process clearly.

I'm an experienced DIYer, and am good at home improvement projects (exterior door and window installations are easy for me); however, roofing and siding are best left to the professionals. So, after seeing several homes get roofs, siding and windows by Craftsman's Choice, and seeing the incredible attention to detail they paid to each of those projects, I hired them to install Hardie Board siding on my home. What a joy Craftsman's Choice is to work with. The owner, Ben, and his project manager, Ryan, were absolutely professional and courteous. Their crew was always on time and worked hard to get the job done on time. They cleaned up beautifully at the end of every day. I didn't have to worry about stepping on nails or screw in the grass or yard at all -- and trust me, I looked. I've hired many contractors and subcontractors through the years, and I will say that Ben and his crew at Craftsman's Choice are the most professional, the most honest, and hard-working individuals I've met in the construction trades in the past 40 years. This company has integrity. I'm very impressed. Richard

I some trim let loose from a siding job they did 7 years ago. I spoke to the service manager on Wednesday about it. He was out on Friday and performed the repair as a warranty. Fast and efficient. Color matched perfectly.

thank you to Elmore and his crew at Craftsman’s Choice for doing a great job fixing my gutter and soffit. They were professional, courteous and the quality of their work is outstanding. They installed my siding a few years ago and did not hesitate when called upon to come back and fix the gutter.

Owner came out to review what we wanted done and said a quote would be sent in 2 weeks. We reached out twice to obtain quote and he never responded. It has been 5 months. Disappointed in the customer service.

Craftsman's Choice completed a full residing of our home along with some great suggested improvements. Everyone we worked with was professional and very friendly. We started with Matt Enfield, our sales representative. He walked us through siding types, colors and options. We landed on James Hardy Mountain Sage with white trim. He also recommend clear cedar for the ceilings of our multiple walk outs, which turned out amazing. Matt turned us over to Phil LaFond, our project manager, who ensured we had the right crews on site and all the details were taken care of. Best of all, Phil and all the crews were able to complete the job under a tight deadline and have the house ready for our daughters high school graduation party. If you are looking for a solid, reliable contractor, Craftsman's Choice is the one to talk to.

All of the work done by Craftsman’s Choice has been excellent. Recently, Elmore repaired a second floor ceiling and a kitchen ceiling (particularly difficult). His work is impeccable! His manner is friendly, intelligent, and he’d be always welcome here. I’m most grateful!

In January of 23 we met with Matt from Craftsman’s Choice to discuss a new window and siding project to happen in July. We really liked Matt he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We decided to wait on windows but move forward with siding, fascia, soffit, and gutters again for July since we were starting a kitchen remodel. On a snowy day in February Jeff meets with us and says they are starting our siding project next week in the middle of winter. We said we were planning on July he said no we are starting next week. This is where the poor communication began. It is now August and we are still dealing with this company. We have had our dryer vent sided over, wrong siding color delivered, chimney cover not secured tightly enough blew off roof and needed complete replacement, broken video doorbell, oil spill stain on front step (that will never go away), 3 nails in tires, lights not replaced properly, and finally because it was winter time the aluminum fascia was not installed correctly and is now warped because of heat. They came out today to fix/cover up fascia it looks a little bit better but still not smooth and there is now a big dent. Some of these issues have been dealt with after multiple emails and constant follow up. Jeff would actually roll his eyes when an issue was brought up to him. Jeff and Michael’s little while lies didn’t help matters either. Worse experience with a company ever.

Craftman's Choice did an excellent job for us!! We hired them for two projects... We live in Plymouth, MN and have been in our house for 26 years. In 2019, we decided to have new siding installed, and we hired them to install James Hardy Siding. They did a fantastic job for us. It went very smoothly and they communicated with us very well. Then, in 2021, we hired Craftman's Choice to replace our roof. Again, they did a fantastic job. Chris Overton, who manages their roofing group is a great guy. Our roof is a weird design (pitch over garage running towards house) and Chris came up with a great solution for us. We highly recommend Craftsman's Choice for both siding and roofing!!

It was good. They were professional.

From our first meeting at a local home improvement show, to the end of the installation, it all was outstanding. Everyone was professional, methodical, and kind. Communication was excellent throughout the project. Friends, neighbor’s, and I, as we witnessed the transformation of our home, are in awe of the work, product, and styling. I highly recommend Craftsman’s Choice, and we would definitely use them again for future projects.

I feel extremely fortunate to have had the excellent service, skill and craftsmanship from Craftsman Choice. Mike Ziegler, Jeff Witt, Darrin and Phil from the roofing crew, Michael from the siding crew, Jose from the shingling crew and Valente from the painting crew (and of course all of the workers who worked with them) not only did an excellent job and provided great leadership, but they were attentive to every single question or concern I had. This is an extremely talented team of people. I live in a 1920s cottage-style house and wanted to maintain the integrity and original style of my home. I got bids from three different construction companies, but none of them paid attention to the details like Craftsman. They followed through on every item. Highly recommended!

It went great! The work was completed as expected and with high quality craftsmanship. I found they were very knowledgeable and conscientious about the work being done. Any concerns that came up were taken care of promptly. They also had ideas for our windows that we hadn’t thought of and we were very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Craftsman Choice!

I’ve had Craftsmans choice do several jobs for me over the years from new construction on a porch, metal roof, windows and doors Every job shows great workmanship and a promptness. The project manager Chris is checking the jobs continually for quality. I’ll never go anywhere else

Craftsman’s Choice was great throughout the entire process! Thank you for all you guys do!!

Over the last 5 years Craftsman Choice worked with us to replace our roof, all of our windows (42) and all of our doors. We had such a positive experience with the roof, when it came time to do our windows and doors, they won our business. The thing that makes Craftsman Choice stand out is their attention to detail, their responsiveness to our inquiries, and any actions required after installation. They even repaired an issue from our siding vendor as that company stop responding immediately after installation. Craftsman Choice, to this day. responds. There are very few roofing, window, door, and siding folks that will respond once they are paid, but Craftsman Choice continues to respond. I also have to speak highly about the salesperson, the project managers, and the craftsman that we experienced over this time frame. All performed highly, were great to work with, accommodating, knowledgeable, and made the projects easy. Sales was upfront, transparent, patient, and honest. Project managers were responsive, gave the bad news fast if there was any, and worked with us to get the job done to our satisfaction. The craftsman working for Craftsman Choice are all true craftsmen; and I do not use that term lightly. They have been there, done that, and that experience shown through thoroughly in each job performed. There will always be issues, but how Craftsman Choice chooses to deal with the issues makes them stand out. I have referred them to many coworkers and friends and have had no regrets in making a recommendation. I am not an employee; I do not own stock in Craftsman Choice, but the reason I write this is when someone performs poorly, I speak up. And, when someone does a good job, I like to make it known. FYI the $90k I mentioned in this was over three different jobs and several years. Would I go back to a poor company? No, I would not. I went back to Craftsman Choice twice!

We got our windows and siding done recently through Craftsman's Choice. In the past they did our roof. Everyone in their team did an amazing job. They were extremely good in communicating what is going on. The windows were late in arriving from the manufacturer and they told us about it. The workmanship for both the windows and the siding were excellent. Many of my neighbors who are very picky about the work done came up to me to mention how great a job these guys did. Matt Enfield, their salesperson with whom I dealt with the most is a guy whom I can trust. I don't know how many times we went back and forth on what we wanted and he was very patient came to our house numerous times to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. He provided pros and cons of everything. I feel very grateful to have found these group of people to work on our house.

Superb from initial contact to final invoice! A+, 100%. Kudus to Matt, Phill and the entire crew!!!

Ben and his staff were great to work with! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They kept us “in the loop” throughout the entire process. I would definitely hire them again and will refer them to everyone I know!

Excellent! It was done quickly and professionally. Strong recommendation.

Quick response on my request for bid and quick scheduling of work. Excellent work and good price for job. Would not hesitate to use them again.

The owner was very punctual, extremely knowledgeable and very responsive. Throughout the job they kept the yard very clean and were very accommodating to other projects that were happening at our house. Having done lots of research on Hardie I was glad to see that they were following the recommendations on installation from the manufacturer and I saw no corners cut on our project. The pricing was reasonable and all costs were broken down up front with no surprises on completion. Our roof was replaced by a Craftsman’s crew and during the removal of the old roof one of the shingles hit a large picture window and scratched it. The siding crew noticed this and made us aware. Craftsman’s arraigned for the manufacturer to replace the large pane very quickly. We would definitely use them again in the future.
