Great, professional technician patched cracks that had seeped for quite some time. No seepage in over 2 years since the work was done. Well worth the investment.
I liked them a lot at first. He did a good job on the work he did. He also does spray foam insulation and I asked him to do that in the crawlspace. He said he could do it for $2,400 but I would have to give him a $1,200 down payment. I wrote him a check for $1,200 a year ago and he hasn't come back to do the work. My wife and I have both called him several times to get our money back. I paid him for what he did and I was satisfied with what he had done. I forgave him in the beginning because there was lots of flooding in the area. He kept calling and saying that he would be over but he never came. Then he stopped calling. I would still like him to do the work if he would show up. I liked the guy. He had a good personality and was nice to do work with. The original work was good and I liked it. It was a real good price for the original work. I paid between $12,000-$15,000 originally. It was a good deal because itt was a big job and I had no problem with the price.

Brian waterproofed our basement a few years ago but we had some water issues last year. He said he'd fix the issue and install a backup sump pump at cost because we had issues. He asked for the cost of the pump up front. Like a moron, I gave it to him. I repeatedly called him to see when the pump would be installed and my issue fixed. It's that was last Fall. Never heard back. He cashed the check pretty quickly though

We had a different person who came out before them who was horrible and then I tried Crawlspace/Basement Waterproofing Solution because they were reasonably priced and they worked with me on scheduling their time so that they would be there when the electrician are there. They worked together with the electricians and were all done. They were wonderful. It was an all-day project but everybody worked together. Everybody showed up, everybody cooperated, and it was all done in one day with a big job. They were very good with the whole thing. The price was really good deal and all they have to do is seal from the outside to the inside. The biggest thing for us is that, they were here when everybody is here to do one thing. They are really good and we only had one problem but it was all filled up. This company gave exactly what we needed, showed up when they are supposed to, and did a great job. It was perfect. I would recommend right away to anybody before anybody else. We were very impressed with them.

I am not sure that I go what I wanted. My basement floor is unfinished, and it has a crack in it, so I assumed they would repair it like the way they repair a crack in a wall, and they didn't. They poured in a crack filler, which runs about 13 Dollars at Home Depot. I don't think it was worth 149 Dollars for a crack filler, and he was here less than 20 minutes. The crack has been filled, but it wasn't what I wanted, and before he did that, he said he would look at the basement and there were 3 cracks but he offered to repair the one on the floor. He could have chosen to repair the crack in the wall for 149 Dollars.

The representative was courteous and ready to work. Also explained what he was going to do and how long the work was going to take. He also made a few recommendations and left on time. Unfortunately, I never received the invoice nor the guarantee paperwork.
We used this company after seeing such good reviews on Angies List. At first, we were very impressed with Brian Flanagan and Basement waterproofing. He seemed responsive, knowledgeable and price was competitive. However, it has been all downhill since.
It cost us $5,500 for the installation across the remaining portion of our garden level (paid $3K to them previously for a partial coverage in wet areas). After receiving a 'lifetime transferrable warranty' upon completion of the work, our downstairs unit has flooded, figured out that Brian's team re-routed our sewer line against city code and have broken pipes that are causing gray water to be pumped into our common alleyway. Brian first promised to come fix these issues, but has since been completely AWOL. We now have to pay an additional $3K for someone else to fix their mistakes.
Stay away...
Company never returned to complete the job after the entry wall was built (a four-hour task, including driving to a hardware store to purchase the cinder blocks). Instead, we received eight emails, each postponing their return to actually begin the job of waterproofing the crawlspace. This barrage of emails culminated in one last correspondence (on June 14) in which Brian Flanagan, company owner and spokesperson, promised us a "full refund" along with "NO HARD FEELINGS" (his emphasis) from his standpoint. We immediately accepted his offer of a full refund. Since that time, I have left voicemail messages for him and sent additional followup emails, but in the intervening 3.5 months we have not heard from Brian. We want the promised refund of our deposit.
My experience overall has been very dissatisfying. They had to replace some drywall and do some basement waterproofing. They repaired 11 cracks, but they still kept leaking. They started the job and never came back to finish the job. They even offered a lifetime guarantee for their work. I have tried contacting this company several times and left messages and there has still been no response. I would not recommend this company to others.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out good. The guy did a really good job, and he went above and beyond, in answering questions. The service was very good, and they did a great job.

They came out twice because the first time didn’t fix all of the problems. Everything was fine as far as the experience goes. Because I purchased the discounted deal I do not think they gave me the best quality of work as they normally would have.

There was no leakage until about three weeks ago. The crack then reopened and water is seeping through. We have tried to contact them. However, they shut down their email and three phone numbers. They will not return any messages. It was a lifetime warranty, but that does us no good if they are out of business.

The existing problem (and why they have C's from us) is that we have completely lost contact and have no way to get resolution.

They did a poor job and never came back to fix their mistakes. I have tried contacting them, but I think they went out of business. I cannot reach anyone and now I have to pay again to have another company come out. STAY AWAY - NOT EVEN IN BUSINESS?
This is difficult as 2 companies became involved and I give different ratings for each.
They were prompt and work was I postponed for the remaining two. However, when I called back a year or so later to schedule, was told that the firm had been taken over by American Crawlspace, Orland Park. They filled the 2 recommended at much higher price, as well as a 3rd which has not held up. Did not return my call at first - eventually came back and offered to do more work at additional $800. Did not guarantee previous work and offered no guarantee for any subsequent work. I do not think they have a clue what the underlying problem may be. They promised to follow up but have not. I was satisfied with original company but would not recommend American Crawlpace
