I previously hired Creative Cabinetry, Rich and Sharon Donnay to make some vanities, install some doors and trim for my floors. The project went well and so I hired them for the removal and new installation of my kitchen cabinets. The project started on February 14. The cabinets came from a local company, GEC Cabinets. It was realized that some cabinets were missing and others were the wrong size so Rich and Sharon did what was available to do the first day. They came back on February 28th and completed the cabinets the next day, March 1. They seemed eager to get the rest of their pay and leave. They didn't check their work and I noticed some things were not right after they left. The upper cabinet door next to the refrigerator scraped on the upper refrigerator cabinet when opening. The cabinet to the right of the stove was not aligned right and the drawer didn't close properly. I also pointed out an end trim piece that would look better leveled with the side of the cabinet. I emailed them on March 4 after I had more time to look over the cabinets. I included pictures and descriptions to clearly show the issues. I received no response. I also called Rich and received no answer. I sent out another email on March 23 asking for assistance with a date they could come and fix the cabinet issues. On March 24 Rich sent me a short response and said they would come out only to fix a previous issue with the vanities when they were in the area. He also said that I should consult with the cabinet supplier regarding any of my cabinet concerns. After the countertops were installed I realized another problem. The sink cabinet was not put in straight and it noticeably stuck out. I reached out to them one more time on March 31st asking for them to resolve the cabinet installation issues and still have not had any response.

"Our first project went fine installing all the interior doors and baseboard and casing. She paid us and full and was satified. Then she hired us to install her kitchen cabinets, we gave her the kitchen measurements. She was suppose to order them, and upon delivery, unwap them and verify they were all there, and not damaged prior to installtion. She did not do that. She did not even give the measurements to the company, (she measured them herself) and then tried to blame us that we gave her the wrong measurements. A email sent to her confirms that we gave her the correct measurements, once we pointed it out to her, she admitted that she did not give the cabinet supplier our measurements. She was having problems because she kept changing her mind on what she wanted. She ended up with four different layouts, and her cabinets were all wrong. We worked with her and even went to the cabinet shop to get the correct sizes she need. The shop only offered them in certain sized so we worked with the shop to try and fix it. Prior to helping her with the layout we explained we charged for design and layout, she declined to pay the design charge, so we informed her to work with the cabinet supplier. The cabinet supplier, told us he had more than 10 hours with her and could not afford to keep helping her. We had countless hours with her on the phone, we even took her calls on Saturday nights and Sunday, even after we asked her to keep her call to before 7pm. We did not respone to her 3 am text. We went back the final day to complete her project and we told her this was the last day we were coming back. Her issues were not with us but with the cabinets she orderd. It is not our fault if she needs a different hinge and her cabinet supplier dosen't supply it, or if a drawer is broken, etc. we did not make them, it'[Member Information Removed] between her and her cabinet supplier. We did not charge her for all the extras on her job, putting cabinets up and then taking them down, address her light fixture issues, plumbing issues, even a electrical issue. We fixed her flooring issues for her, that we did charge her for but she got a discount on it. When we finished that day, she paid us, and we left. She has had issues with everyone on her project. No one that has worked on her project could satisfy her and after 37 years in business, this unfortunately is one customer we can not satified either. We work very to make sure we do an excellent job, and we take a lot of pride in what we do, that is why we get the great reviews with our cusomers and get call backs and referrels. My new doors are stunning! The entire process from start to install has been flawless. Rich and Sharon are extremely skilled at what they do, and they are also really fun people! I had an idea of a unique space-saving table I wanted to make and brought it to Creative Cabinetry. They worked with me and guided me on the entire design process. They were straightforward, honest, and timely-one of the best pros I've ever hired! It turned out excellent! I am constantly getting compliments from people on the craftsmanship and great installation of the table. This husband wife team is the best out there. Hands down!

Rich and Sharon are awesome. Rich hung my cabinets and did trim around my window and did odd and end cabinet work in my kitchen. I couldn’t be happier that I found them. Super nice people and already have asked them to come back for more work I am finding I want done.

Did a great job taking out our old sliding door and replacing with a French door. Also made custom trim for us to go around it. He stained it to match our current stuff and installed that as well. Looks very nice! Very easy to work with, very prompt and professional. Would definitely hire again.
