From start to finish everything went as promised. Creative Pavers truly exceeded our expectations with this work!

I'm giving Nick a D rather than an F only because I'm happy with the deck itself and fire pit turned out nice. But, like the most recent review from 2018, I had major problems with this company and would steer people away from them. First, they removed a concrete pad before putting in the deck, claiming it was necessary in order to put in footers, even though in retrospect they didn't have to, and as soon as it rained my basement flooded, so they put in a new concrete pad, realizing they had goofed in taking it out in the first place. Their insurance company covered my loss, but I had to pull up my entire new flooring in the basement because it was destroyed by the flooding. Nightmare. They also destroyed about 25% of my lawn by placing the lumber on it while they performed the work for a couple of months. Just like the previous reviewer, whose grass was destroyed. They said they would reseed and take care of the grass but the reseeding job was a joke, the new "grass" is just crabgrass and weeds, and all of the grass around the deck looks terrible, it's going to cost at least $1000 to take care of the grass now. I think Nick is a nice guy, I think he's well-intentioned, I think he sincerely wanted me to be satisfied with the job, I just don't think he has put together a professional group of workers to perform this kind of work, I think they made some really bad decisions, and the damage that a crew of workers can do when they don't know what they're doing is really significant.

I strongly recommend not hiring Creative Pavers. Our experience was absolutely horrible and they are very unprofessional and downright rude. We hired and signed a contract with Creative Pavers in the beginning of March, we were told the estimated start date would be between 3-5 weeks and the project would take 3 weeks to complete. Several Months went by and they continued to make excuse after excuse for the delay. Eventually, it was our turn and the “crew” arrived in the beginning of June. Let’s say the “crew” consisted of 3 people, two days into the job one of the crew members quit and week 2 began with them not showing up one day. As the project continued, our cable line in the ground was severed, a pipe in our yard was broken, the patio door frame was damaged, drain spouts damaged and when we addressed these issues nothing was done. In fact, we were told don’t worry about the door jam on our newly constructed home because you won’t see it with the new patio- Completley not true. Then on July 1st, the large tarps used to cover job site at night and from rain were left laying all over our back yard which burnt the majority of our grass and again nothing was done. The end of July came and we were scheduled for our final walk through, which by the way was held in the rain with our 1 1/2 year old son because they needed to move on to the next job. Or was it really to just get the last check as quickly as possible? However, there was a laundry list of things incomplete: grill lights didn’t work, fridge completely not level nor flush with the frame, had questions regarding one of the electrical outlets, numerous pavers without sand between them, an entire landscape package which we paid for that wasn’t done, and majority of our back yard still looked like a construction zone. We were promised they would come back and kept telling us “we stand by our work” however, we are now in November and the laundry list of incomplete items still remain. Every time we have asked when they will be back to comeplete the job, its very confrontational or defensive. There have been numerous cancellations of scheduled appointments we made with them, even one recently were I took a half day off of work to get a text message the hour before the appointment that they need to reschedule due to traffic. As the customer, I feel as though I was never heard or had any of my concerns taken into consideration but rather felt it was all about getting the checks from us as fast as possible. While it is my fault to have paid them the full amount before the job was 100% complete, this was our first big project in our new home and I took their word that the job would be done to my full satisfaction. Well it’s still hasn’t been complete and unfortunately all they want to do is continue to make excuses and fight with us. I strongly suggest anyone looking for landscape, hardscape or decking to find a different company.

This project began in October 2016. We were overall pleased with the deck upon completion. However, we noticed some of the Timbertech Terrain boards were coming up and one was splintering. It's ONLY been four months! We lost the 25 year warranty that came with the Timbertech Terrain boards since the installation was done improperly. We are disappointed in the experience.

Creative Pavers Co was a pleasure to work with. They were extremely responsive from the proposal process to completion. They where a professional, and the patio looks beautiful. They are also putting in plantings for us but we just decided on what we wanted so that part hasn't happened yet. I highly recommend them.

The design process was very good. On-site visit to discuss project ideas and then design was created along with price quote. They were very helpful with talking through ideas and talking through different options with design and materials. Work was done very well and in a timely manner. Very communicative about the daily weather impacts to the project and where they expected to be as the project moved forward. Would highly recommend them.

Originally hired Nick and the Creative Pavers team several years ago to design and install a complete backyard hardscape/landscape package including a paver patio, walkway, steps, lighting, wood deck, and fire pit.  At the time they were not active on Angie's List, so consider this a review of my entire relationship with them now and going back 5 years or so.  I can't begin to say enough about how great they have been.  Their original design and installation was exceptional, and they're follow-up and diligence to meeting they're original schedule commitment was great.  I was so pleased, I bought them back again several months later for another smaller job building a retaining wall and planter in my front yard. <br> <br>Since those originals installs I have called them back twice for some minor maintenance and settling repairs.  Should point out the repairs were not needed due to poor quality of work, and were nothing more than the typical wear and tear/weather/settling issues you'd expect after 5 years.  Nick and Jack have consistently provided the same level of outstanding service and follow-up throughout our entire relationship.  Relationship is the operative word here, they are most definitely not your typical "here today, gone tomorrow" contractor.  They truly care about their customers and reputations and it shows in every interaction.  I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a hardscape/landscape project. <br> <br>

Creative Pavers did a great job for me. I had a wooden deck that essentially just a wooden platform on the ground. It was starting to rot in places and the inspector warned me when I bought the house that it was showing signs of termite damage, so it had to go. The provided me with a great design and we worked out a way to do it in stages so that I could stay within budget. I was traveling for much of the project, but everything went well even in my absence. From start to finish, they were polite, professional, punctual - and I love the end result. I have other plans for landscaping and hardscaping for the future (including a firepit) and I will definitely use them again.

To say that working with Nick, Jack, and Creative Pavers was a pleasurable experience is an understatement.  Their communication from start to finish was wonderful.  Nick helped tremendously with the design process and gave us great insight into an otherwise foreign field.  They were everything you have come not to expect from contractors...on time, organized, and professional.  There was some light puddling on the new patio which Jack came right out to remedy.  Their prices were fair and their workmanship was fantastic.  I would not hesitate to use them again and have already recommended them to friends.

I cant say enough about this company, wish I could grade higher than "A". We met the Creative Paver team at the Philly Home show and read their reviews on Angies List. Although we had estimates from several companies, we had a good feeling about them based on several factors: Professionalism, responsiveness, design ideas, willing to work on options to fit within our budget and their education and experience in the field. The word "Creative" in their name is not there by accident! We were very happy with the process and the completed project. Project: Rebuilt deck with Trex, Paver Patio and Firepit... all done by one contractor although I dont like to use the word contractor because it doesnt really describe this professional design/build company. The patio looks great! Everything seems to be graded properly and when it rains, you can see the water heading in the right direction off the patio and away from the house. Dave and Steve were a great team and were very professional. Dave was especially super knowledgeable and it was valuable to have him on site to explain things and help me understand the process. It also allowed me to better appreciate the expertise the company brought to making the best patio possible. It a policy of  Creative Pavers to start and stay with a job until it is finished (weather permitting). Once the job started, they did stay with the job until it concluded. Sometimes contractors will leave a job in the middle to do something else and come back and finish. CP also has more than one crew so they can accommodate sooner time frames, which we needed. We met with Creative Pavers and a couple of other companies. Nick, the owner, was definitely a cut above the others in his knowledge,  professionalism, and responsiveness during the process--it was an obvious choice for us and we are glad we chose Creative Pavers. <br />

or it as the pad they started a week early the workers were from creative pavers not out side contractors they did good work they made necessary adjustment with things I didn't agree with such as the padding for the shed was in the wrong sides they came back and fixed it.the clean up was done everyday.They did the little extra things as they saw fit and did not charge extra for it.There is some adjustments to my stairs that they replaced that I wasn't happy with and there coming back to fix that as well overall I am happy with the service <br />

Absolutely LOVE my new patio! <br /> Called them early to mid June 2015 and they were out within the week to give us an estimate.  The estimated start date was for the last week of July (roughly 27-29), but ended up starting a week later.  That was due to that large storm that knocked the snot out of a lot of South Jersey and their company was smack in the middle of a large cluster that was hit hard.  Still, they were able to stay close! <br /> Job was done in two days, which is awesome. They were very friendly and considerate of our property as well as our neighbors. Went above and beyond by texturing the old pavers we were having them match best they could with new pavers for a pretty neat jig-saw puzzle look AND filled in the cracks between the old pavers. SO HAPPY.  <br /> Original patio consisted of half flat pavers with a pond at the edge of them and then river rocks to complete it.  There was a very open terrace structure on one half of it.  We removed the rocks, emptied the pond and took down the structure so that they could do the work.  All of the trash (old stone and wood) were removed by Creative Pavers at no extra cost as they are able to recycle and dispose of them easily.  It was actually their suggestion to make the job easy for us!  <br /> The only complaint, and that's probably too harsh of a word for this, is that they didn't communicate with me about the delay of the start time of the job.  It wasn't until I would contact them that they would reply, but they were quick to do so!  It may have been due to the aforementioned storm causing havoc so I'm not terribly worried about that.  <br /> I will still recommend them to anyone looking for the services they provide.  Super helpful, knowledgeable, and over all awesome people to deal with! <br />

All aspects of job went very well.

It was a pretty good experience. They stayed on schedule and stayed within their budget. Everything was good. We haven't had any issues. It was a good price. We would absolutely use them again.

It was excellent. They were timely. The owner came out and talked to us about the project. He was very professional and provided professional drawings. He did exactly what he said he was going to do in the time frame he said he was going to do it. He just seemed like he was the most reliable person that we contacted. They finished it in two days. It's beautiful and very professionally done. He came back a couple of days later just to do some finish work. He checked on us and made sure that it was okay. With regard to price, I don’t necessarily think that cheapest is the best. I think that they were in the middle. The quality of the work that they did was worth the money. We are actually going to use them again in the spring.

They didn't start until 8 weeks after  I made the initial deposit.  In fairness, there was a lot of rain during the 4 weeks that set the starting time back.   Basically they did a good job, and corrected a mistake they made without any arguments.    <br />

I can remember the day they started. It had just snowed the day before and it was cold and windy. <br /> We figured that they wouldn't show up because of the weather conditions. <br /> <strong>Boy, were we wrong.</strong> <br /> <strong>Jack,</strong> the foreman with Creative Pavers came with a big crew and, what it looked like, brand new equipment.  <br /> It really tells you something when a company made thousands of dollars of investments in their equipment. It shows you that they're in for the long haul... <br /> The guys started immediately by scraping of a layer of snow behind our house. After that, they spray painted the area where the patio was going to be. Right away, they started to dig and dig and dig....I don't know how many truckloads they filled up for our 54 by 27 feet patio, but it was a lot. <br /> They brought in truckloads of crushed stone, poured footers for the walls and protected the walls of our house with foam boards. <br /> During a period of 4 weeks, we had a patio, 2 sidewalks from the front of the house to the back, a beautiful front porch and a 2 car driveway done. <br /> We're very honored to be on the front page of the Creative Pavers, Inc. website. <br /> A year later, we made it to the EP Henry catalog with several pages. <br /> Our house increased in value by having all this work done. <br /> At that time Creative Pavers also started with their own landscaping section.  <br /> What is our overall experience? <br /> Well...our house looked like a battle zone for about a month or two. We had snow and ice, so the crew had to stop working for a couple of weeks but they cleaned up every day and there was no such thing as :"we can't do this..." <br /> We've had many cars stop and ask us who did your work and would you recommend them. <br /> We've had many neighbors who copied our patio and tried to go with a different company only to tell us later:"we should have..." <br /> It was a great experience and we would recommend anyone to use this company in a heartbeat. <br /> You won't regret it!! <br /> It is now 10 years later and we've had the windows and siding replaced. The windows were due since they were the crappy builders grade and we decided to do the siding as well because some parts had really faded and looked pretty bad. <br /> We called Creative Pavers and asked Nik if he could come out to cut some pavers for us because the new siding was somewhat thicker then the old ones. We told them to just bill us for the cost. <br /> Nik told us that he would gladly come out and cut those stones at no cost. <br /> Today ( January 4th, 2013) Nik and Jack came out, spent about half an hour to cut the pavers and even left me with a tube of glue. <br /> I'm telling you.
