Crest is the best!
I am a 77 year old retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant. Over the years I have witnessed a lack of pride and professionalism when I enter a contract for home repairs. They are not reliable, over estimate costs and have poor attitudes.

Ceiling Fan - Install
Dale did an amazing job in incredibly trying circumstances. We were a few days out from a significant ice storm, and he had trouble getting to our house because of the road conditions. After an experience that would have turned many people around. He made it to the house and did a fantastic and professional job. I would nighly recommend Dale and Crest Electric!

Installation of my ceiling fan was tougher than expected due to the replacement of a fan mounted on a 20' ceiling. Dale, and his helper, D'Jere, did an excellent job replacing my old ceiling fan with a new one I purchased. Installation required removing the old fan and its 8' droprod, and installing the new fan with a different droprod. The job required assembling a two-tier scaffold with the use of an additional stepladder to get to the ceiling. Dale and his partner worked meticulously to get the job done, and the result was perfection. After the installation was completed, and the scaffolding was removed, Dale and his partner walked around the living room picking up any wire insulation clippings and other small pieces left over on the floor. They left the place pretty much spotless. Dale and his partner did a fantastic job, and I would definitely hire them again.

I was in need of a new installation for a ceiling fan. After reading the reviews, I decide to hire Crest Electric. Dale called to discuss my needs and quickly placed me on his scheduled. Dale was very professional and has excellent customer service. Dale provided me an ETA and was running a little late. He called me to inform me that he would be arriving a little late. I was very impress that he took my time into consideration. When he arrived, I had A TON of questions. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions with a smile. His work was very proficient. He even cleaned up afterwards. I am very happy with my new ceiling fan. I would highly recommend Dale for all your electrical needs.

Dale and his team did a great job installing our ceiling fan. The job was more involved because there was no existing fixture on the ceiling and the existing switch box on the wall was falling apart. There was also a piece of frame behind the drywall that he had to work around. He provided helpful suggestions during the install and they cleaned up completely after the work was done. They also moved furniture that was in the way and moved it back when they were done. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any future electrical work I need.

Let me tell you, Mr. Dale from Crest Electric was prompt, profesional, and persistent to complete all of our projects. We had him hang a beautiful chandelier! Plus he completed 7 additional electrical projects while there! His prices were reasonable, he even wouldn’t leave when I mentioned an outside light. Crest Electric is a credible and reliable company. He is our Rolodex for return work. I am scheduling as I writing this review. Don’t lose out on a quality and respectful electrician.

Dale(Crest Electric) came late alone to a two man job. He requested $675.00 to install a chandelier that was already hanging. He was unable to complete the job alone, so my wife, my neighbor and I assisted him installing the heavy chandelier. He did not put the chandelier together correctly. When asked about his work, he began to yell “ Is it my fault?” “It was made like that." We told him that he could come back and fix it later, but he refused. He demanded full payment now and insinuated Black people would not pay. This man was insulted us in our home. I decided to pay him and get him out of my home. Even though he didn't earn the $675.00. "Mr [Member Name Removed] that’s not true you called to have the chandelier hung asked for photos of previous jobs I sent them you said you I would like you to come out then you called back and said your wife hired someone then you fired him and called me back to come behind a electrician you just fired I should have walked away but I told you I was on a job and I would come by after I was finished you said it doesn’t matter what time I need it done tonight you said it was already hanging just needed to be finished that was a lie I had to take it down to change the height that’s when you offered to help I didn’t finish until 300am because you wanted it hung so your wife the boss as you say would be happy at 300am in the morning you started to say you didn’t like the shape I said it came prearranged as far as were the bulb wires hang I asked you repeatedly what can I do to help you got frustrated with your choice of light and began to gripe about its shape and paying 2 electricians to hang 1 chandelier but you fired the first electrician you talked of how impressed you were that I wasn’t tired and how focused I was I don’t know how my race has anything to do with this matter but I wish we could have finished positive the same way I began I texted and called you afterwards the next day to still see if I could help you you responded rudely so I’ve done my part"

I would like to thank Crest Electric and their team for the work they did at my new home. We recently purchased a house in DE, and being new to the area, it was a relief to find a fair and reliable contractor who takes pride in their work. I needed their help with installing recess lighting, raising the electrical outlets, mounting TVs with TV mounts, installing chandeliers, and handling the installation of doorbells, cameras, and floodlights.
